This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

The Target in Baldwin Park, CA (off the 10 @ Baldwin Park Blvd in Los Angeles) has a shit-ton (yeah, its an actual unit of measurement) of Scene-It w/ buzzers for $14.98 They are on the back of an aisle on the opposite side of the dept from the game cases.

If you can tolerate that crap on the controller, then yea it's good. But to charge 59.99 for a wireless controller with NO rechargeable battery pack/cable is a rip off. 7.xx sounds good for a painted official 360 wireless controller.

Man, I was going to but check out Ebay for ones ending with free shipping or even Amazon with $3.99 shipping...I paid just shy of $16.50 with tax, it weighs over 2# without any packaging...plus frickin PPal fees....sheesh...

Surprisingly only one store within the 5 somewhat near my home had any Scene Its...

Was tickled to find 1 Blastworks for $9.98, Lost Odyssey $14.98 and 1 Bourne for $14.98...

I finally got a Scene It for 14.98, but somebody had bought out all of the Lost Odysseys. Bunch of Grid, Skate, Bourne, Beijing Olympics (2) and a few others already posted at 14.98 elsewhere. No drop on GTA4 SE to 22.xx for me today.

Target I went to had a bunch of these to. Aren't GC memory cards hard to get hold of these days ?

I didn't see any Scene It's. Weird b/c I know they had a crap load of them just the other week and they were still marked at full price.

They did have 5 copies of Lost Odyssey @ $30. Heh, I took 1 and hid it hoping it will be safe for a week until they hopefully go down to $15 next week. If I get 1 then I'll be happy. Otherwise some hoarder will come in and take them all.

Well, terutt was right. The drops weren't what I hoped, but it was a good call. Thanks dude. Only thing I got was an almost nice story.

Hit the Target on Rt. 60 after work and some drops did occur. Went over to the clearance section and there was some 12 yr old kid looking at PS2 games. I'm flipping through things and grab the last FFXII which is down to $5. I'm thinking of passing it along to CAG, but I catch the kid giving me a sideways glance and offer him the game. Told him it was well worth the $5 and he just looked at me with the cautious "stranger danger" look. He took the game....I hope he likes it.

Anyway, that a big waste of time since all I have to report is this:

No clue, I usually check the one that is 5 minutes from where I work on mondays before work/after school (Since I go by it each way), go to the one by my house on sometimes on Mondays, usually Tuesdays, go down to the one 4 miles south of me on Tuesdays, and I may go to the one by the mall if there are any good drops that I didn't see in any of the other 3 stores. And I may stop by the one I go by on Monday again on Tuesday if they don't seem to drop monday (I will get my friend that copy of UT3 for $10 D: )

Snagged The Bourne Conspiracy (PS3) for $15 tonight.
Not sure if I'm going to keep it or not. Demo was decent but not sure how the whole game is.

Tough to play knowing what's coming up in the next several weeks on PS3 (Bioshock, Dead Space, Resistance 2). Not to mention I'm replaying Burnout Paradise to get those stupid trophies.

Two stores I visited today and tonight.

Made a daytime run to the Merrillville location before work. No drastic changes from the last time I went there. The video game clearance section has been moved from the electronics section down to a CD/Book endcap along with clearanced kids books. All copies of Grid are gone, I am sad to report to fellow local CAGers. Plenty of PopCap for $5, though. Scene Its are still in the old clearance location at an endcap by the cell phones/radios.

After work, I took the hit to my gas tank and hit Highland. I had called earlier for availability of Lost Odyssey and heard not only did they have a few left, they were going rather quickly. Why of course they were! Because:

Snagged:
Lost Odyssey - $14.98 (Final copy)

Seen:
Skate - $14.98
Kingdom Under Fire - $9.98

Apparently they had five copies left at the start of the day. I don't know if any other local CAGers hit that store today to get a copy, but I'm sure glad I called and checked to make sure it had dropped. Otherwise, I would've waited for tomorrow and odds are it wouldn't have been there.

Merrillville has none left, either. Valparaiso does have one copy left in stock, but tagged at $29.98 according to the sales rep I talked to on the phone. I might take a look at what else dropped (maybe Track and Field for the DS) when I go and visit my pal tomorrow..

Lost Odyssee dropped to $15 this week at my Target. Picked up 2, one for a friend and one for myself. These had been moved from the case to the clearance section. They had one copy each of Scene it for $15 and Club for $12, both still in the glass case. Passed on the Scene it as I picked up a copy at Sears a few weeks back. Guess I should have waited and saved ten bucks.

Please specify here whether you are talking about the ps3 or 360 version of Burst Limit.

Ive been waiting for this to drop to $15 for the 360 and I know a few stores that had them in stock last week and I dont feel like wasting a trip
