Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in gold are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

The Legend of EL HOARDO as told by Strell
No cankle too big and no score too small,
The one and only EL HOARDO.

He'll steal your stash - gonna take it all,
That's the one - EL HOARDO.

He's gonna run down all the aisles
and snatch up all the loot,
And he's feeling really confident
in his nipple protection suit!

Awesome sideburns and a dapper mask
He's at your local store,
Gonna clean out everything
And then go back for more!

Who's the guy in the Star Trek shades?
He's the man they call EL HOARDO.

His boots are secretly roller blades,
There he goes! EL HOARDO!

He's got a cape and it's totally sweet,
A flash in red and white,
Calls his fanny pack his utility belt,
He's ready for a discount fight!

You'd never think he could run so fast,
With a gut of giant size,
Asks all the ladies if they'd like a ride
On his Starship Enterprise!

What's that sound comin' down the lane?
It can only be EL HOARDO.

His stubby legs are gonna bring the pain,
Brace yourselves - EL HOARDO!

He packs a sword, it's a replica,
Like Zorro in disguise,
Gonna leave an H scratched on the wall,
Then he'll move those ten ton thighs!

Knows all the price drops all the time,
Has inhalers to survive,
Lives in a basement at his parents house,
At the age of thirty five!

That's the one who got your penny guide,
The stallion called EL HOARDO.

He's got his Rascal parked outside,
That Man-of-Men EL HOARDO.

EL HOOOOOOOARDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Really nice day for price drops today!

Prototype PC $7.48
Bioshock 2 PC $7.48
Wolfenstein PC $9.98

The really great deal was finding Infamous for $7.48!!!

I couldn't believe it, especially since I bought it for $14.98 at the same store (Torrance, CA) only 3 days earlier! It was odd because I only saw one copy on Friday and snagged it. Stop by today after work and find 3 copies and they're half the price. Picked one up and returned the previous one. I actually went back a couple hours later to pick one up for a friend, and somebody already rifled thruogh the huge stack of games (same games & generally same prices everyone else has posted today) and took the last to copies. Ah well, I'm just glad I was lucky enough to find it for that cheap! I haven't seen Infamous on clearance at any other Target on the SoCal area i commute (between Torrance and Escondido).

Has anyone seen a League of Legends Collector's Box on clearance at their target? I've been looking for them under $10 lately and cant even find a target around me with one in stock, and there's 5 targets near me!

I did find Just Cause 2 for the same price as the other guy though, thanks for pointing it out!

picked up 3 of the wd 320gb 2 for me 1 for a friend . i need to upgrade my laptop harddrive. the Laptop has only 40gb.

saw

tekken 6 20.98
street fighter 4 20.98
and a crap load of other ps3 game like reflex

I saw that Target has a Temporary Price Cut on Tony Hawk Ride and DJ Hero for $29.99 each. I was tempted but passed it up. They did have a Sony Pocket Reader on Clearance for $37.48 and I got that for my wife. When I presented it to her she yelled "THIS IS NOT A KINDLE" and threw it at my head. Oh well, I will give it to someone for Christmas....

I found a Casio Electric Keyboard for $39.xx :D it was normally over $100 from what I can tell.

It also had a pair of headphones in the package and they are also very nice.

Argh... all of these HOT PS3 drops. If I ever find the hoarder that takes/hides/buys ALL of the PS3 clearance at my Target, I'll take his knees.

Yeah... you read that right. Not break his knees... TAKE his knees.

All he leaves me with is 360 and Wii junk. Oh... and cassette walkmans.

Picked up Club House Games (ds) [207-02-0175] for $3.48! Wonderful price, since it's also worth Nintendo coins :). Oddly the original price on it was 4.98.

I saw a bunch of those at mine. Amazon's TIV is $5.25 so it's essentially a free rental. Maybe I'll pick one up today and give it to my sister.

Went and nothing mentioned was really there. Naughty bear and Just Cause are still MSRP. Only thing worth mentioning was Borderlands for PC at $4.98 but there was only one copy.

Saw Borderlands PS3 for $20 but passed for now. None of the games had been marked down further, sadly.

I did pick up 2 of the WD 320 GB hard drives for half off. Only 4 left (2 now). I thought I read somewhere on here that someone took the HD out of the shell and put in a ps3? Anyone know about this? I would love to use it for that since my 80GB is almost full.

Probably the biggest clearance drop I have ever seen at my store... They were still in the process of pulling the clearance 360 games out of the glass cases and putting them all in a cart so I couldnt see any of those yet but they had all of the PS3 games out and a ton of other electronics. Heres some notables but I didnt get the prices on alot of them...

PS3:
Army of Two 40th Day $9.98
Lost Planet 2 $27.xx
Iron Man 2
Blur
MAG - $41.xx
NHL 10
Beatles Rockband $20,98
WWE 2010
Dantes Inferno - $27.xx
Resident Evil 5 - $27.xx
Green Day Rockband
Madden 10
Tekken 6
MLB 10 The show

Misc:
Targus Bluetooth USB adapter - $4.98
Motorola Bluetooth headset $7.48
Microsoft Arc Mouse - $12.48
WD Elements 320gb - $34.98 (marked as $48.98 but scanned lower)
Atlantic 15 DVD storage rack $3.48

There were at least 5 more PS3 titles, 10 DS titles, 10 Wii, And a while cart of 360 games that I couldnt see yet so I will go back and report more later...

Lol, they had that here too. Though, i doubt i'd pay anything above 15 dollars for that broken mess of a game.

Also saw some Walkmen (Didnt even think they still made those), a buttload of copies of Army of Two 40th day for 14.99 (PSP, they had a 360 copy on clearance in the case, but no one around to open it), and a bunch of PC/Wii Shovelware.

Hahaha LOL. I was also going to get one for my wife, but I knew I would have gotten the same reaction.

The Target closest to me (South Dale Mabry location, Tampa FL) used to be pretty good for celearance deals, but went dry about 7 months ago and didn't have jack shit except shovelware Wii games marked down. It turned into a goldmine today, however: Borderlands (PS3 only): $20 Borderlands Zombie/Mad Moxi pack (360): $10 The Saboteur (360 and PS3): $13.98 Dead Rising 1 (360): $10 Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 (360): $10 Brutal Legend (360/PS3): $13.98 WWE 2010 (PS3): $20 Backyard Baseball Sandlot Sluggers (360): $13.98 Beatles Rockband (PS3 only): $20

saw one copy of dark void (360) left. wasn't too thrilled on the demo, but rang up 4.98, so i picked it up anyways. i think for that price, i might like it now.
I almost fell off my chair until I saw the PC part.

For some reason known only to Lucas, the console versions are so hard to find and ultra expensive.
I assume the Sith Edition is the game plus all the DLC? There were about 40 copies of the normal game on 360 for $4.98 at mine.

My Target had these games:

9.98
Burnout Paradise XB360
Orange Box XB360
Call to Juarez PS3

13.98
Dead Rising XB360 Platinum Hits

And a few others I cant remember lol

I never find anything good at my target but today was an exception, I got the Microsoft arc mouse for $12.48. A real bargain especially considering the fact that I go through a lot of mice.

The color is white and the clearance number from the package is 080 00 0877

Yeah - I picked up the black one today for the same price. Can't ever have too many good mice...

I went to 3 Targets today. Didn't really track info as most prices were the same as posted above.
1st one had a boatload of :ps3: games, including most GH/Rockband titles: Lego, Green Day, GH5, Van Halen (overpriced still), WWE 2010,
I got :ps3: MX/ATV Reflex for $9.98

Second one I got the last :ds: Phantom Hourglass for $8.74, but the 3rd Target had about 50 copies in the :ds: display lock-case.

Other notable games on clearance and not purchased...
:360: Prince of Persia $13.98,
HAWX $13.98?
:360: Burnout Paradise $9.98
:360: Orange Box $9.98
:psp: Lego Indy 2, Forgotten Sands, some others under $10

:360::ps3::wii:Tony Hawk Ride $29.99 (sale price)
:360::ps3::wii:DJ Hero $29.99 (sale price) :360: sold out :(
:360:Forgotten Sands $19.99 (regular price),
:360:Mass Effect 2 $19.99 (regular price),

I also scored a Kodak EasyShare D830 800x600 8" Digital Photo Frame. $129.99 on clearance for $32.48. SWEET!

I got DJ Hero for 360, I've been looking to grab this for a good price for a while. I didnt even know it was on sale, I took a pic thinking maybe I'd have something to post. I should have known this site has much better deal hunters than I am.

By the way, I'm really glad I bought it after being on the fence. I actually havent got a chance to play it...my wife got a hold of it and is actually all over it. Theres a 1 point achievement! Normally a bad thing, but I need to even my score out. But it will be uneven again once/if I get good.

I saw the borderlands DLC pack for $10, what a steal. Too bad I already own it.

One of the stores I went to had an overflowing endcap stuffed with all manner of things, including 2 "repackage" strategy guides for $10, which I left there. I did find LEGO Batman for PC @ 4.98 at 2 stores, so tomorrow I think I'll pick one up. I love LEGO Batman. Since Alpha Protocol on PC is starting clearance, and I picked up a copy of the all-platforms strat guide for 1 cent today, I'll keep my eye on it.

Excited to see a new wave of drops, I was finally ready to bite down on Alpha Protocol 360, getting it cheap enough that I won't feel the sting of it's quality too bad.

But, lo and behold, EVERY copy of AP, and only AP, was gone! Impossible. The prices had only dropped that day! Furiously, I searched through the clearance section, behind every game, under every book, between the piles of cords...

Then...

I saw... it!

One detached Target price sticker with that telltale H sliced into it.

I fell to my knees, screaming, fists shaking in impotent rage! DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMNNNNNNNNNN YOOOOOOU EL HOARDO! DAMN YOU TO HELL!

Do you get the weir look from employees after you hang around the electronic section for a bit? I always get treated like a theft if I hang around the electronic section for more than 5 min. It's like they don't expect anyone to be there if someone is there they're up to no good.

On related note one of the target I went to had an explosion of clearances I see all the rare clearance games at the clearance endcap though the price is like 2 drop delay from you guys gonna have to check back early next Monday hoping to score some good stuff

I've got the 1 pointer already! It'll suck if I ever get the other oddball 'chieve from DJ Hero as it'll mess up the score again.

Curse you Bulletwitch, and your little 1 point final 'chieve too:bomb:

Hit up a few more stores and found no new games. I did see a couple other electronic deals.

There was an HP photosmart printer for 37.48 (75%off) and a Tracfone pay as you go cellphone for 3.74

I saw El Hordo at work today!! I was so tempted to take a picture, but I didn't want to be that obvious. The guy was just shoveling armfulls of items from the misc electronics endcap into his cart, stuff like earbuds, Kindle or netbook sleeves, etc. But here's the shocker, folks...

El Hordo was a 20-something, tall, skinny, white dude. No beard. No trenchcoat. And well under 300 pounds. Shocker, I know.

Side note, I saw the Memorex MVBD2520 Blu-Ray player for $64.98, 50% off. I was tempted, until I pulled up the Amazon reviews. And they are hilariously hideous. 29 reviews averaging 1.5 stars. Lots of complaints. I probably got more entertainment from reading these scathing reviews than I would have from the device!

every time i've seen el hoardo, he looks like someone who lives in his mother's basement. doesn't matter fat or skinny.

Very entertaining post. I wonder if he actually buy's all of it, if he does, he is surely losing money, and turning into el hoarder. Soon the TV show hoarders will be knocking on his door and will find him buried in unsellable target clearance merchandise!

That seems more like the description of el hordo that I would expect. Either that or some middle aged woman who's kids have left, husband divorced and who has nothing left to do but scour the shelves of local retail for stuff to resell. I wouldn't expect el hoardo to be extremely fat, from my experience extremely fat people are usually too lazy or in too much pain to leave the house.

As far as the mouse goes I wouldn't get more than one, microsoft will replace it if anything goes wrong within warranty if you call the parts & service department (google it). I already got one free mouse from them, Microsoft is GREAT with replacements.

I have never seen el hoardo here, however I have seen la hoarda, who turned out to be a middle aged female with a cocky attitude, with nothing else to do.

At the Short Pump Target in Richmond, VA, I picked up:

:360: Borderlands $20.98
:360: Borderlands Add-On Pack (Dr. Ned and Mad Moxxi) $10.48

Interesting story to getting Borderlands. The add-on pack was already marked $10.48, but Borderlands was still full price. I told the cashier I want the add-on pack and that I know other stores have marked down Borderlands to $20.98 for clearance and asked if he could check it. I told him if it isn't marked down then I wouldn't get it. It wasn't marked down, but the cashier told me he would do it anyway. So, just like that, the cashier overrode the price down to $20.98, and I walked out with both for $33.03 after tax. It was really weird, as I have never had a Target employee be so helpful and trusting. I almost want to leave a positive comment about him to management, but he might have broken policy there and I don't want him to get in hot water because of it. Anyways, bottom line is it was a rare good experience at Target.

Got a great deal on a HP photo printer tonight at Target, $26.XX for a HP A646 photo printer, which is normally $150. It is real compact, has a large touch screen, bluetooth for printing from cell phones.... pretty nice unit. Just hooked it up and test printed a couple pics and It does equally or nicer than some pics we just got done at CVS,Sam's, and Walgreens just last week.

Odd part of the find though was they had 2 of them. One was marked for $36.XX and one was marked $26.XX and labeled repackaged..... but it had never been opened....so I grabbed the repackaged item for $10 cheaper and confirmed it had never been repackaged or opened at all

Grabbed Dawn of War 2 for 7.48, and 2 copies of Metro 2033 for 12.50, one of them going to a cagger (not hoarding or anything). Also snagged a copy of army of 2 the 40th day on PSP for $15. It sounded neat, so I figured I might as well.

yeah confirming Borderlands for PS3 as well at the 20.98 price point... picked it up and figured I can hold onto it for a lil while to see if price drops lower on this one somewhere else... tekken 6 was also 20.98 for PS3 but didn't buy one of those...

Several PS3 games I want (Green Day Rock Band, Beatles Rock Band, Prototype, Tekken 6) have all started their clearance cycles at the Target by my new house. :D

Guess I picked a good place to live!
Saw some clearance kids clothing stashed away in the electronics section, now thats a first
It is part of El Hoardo's plan. I think you should buy up all the clothes before he can fully implement his plan.

Did you happen to see if Zelda: Phantom Hourglass had dropped further? I checked there a couple of weeks ago and there were 3-5 copies (if I recall correctly), but they were ~$25.

Do you get the weir look from employees after you hang around the electronic section for a bit? I always get treated like a theft if I hang around the electronic section for more than 5 min. It's like they don't expect anyone to be there if someone is there they're up to no good.

YEP I know exactly what you're talking about! One of the stores I went do didn't really give a damn (as evidenced by the 20 something guy passing me to someone else cause he was too lazy) but the other one, this chick hovered around my area for awhile before she approached me. Dumb broad, acting like I didn't notice she was keeping tabs........

you guys wouldnt believe the amount of crap that gets stolen on a daily basis. Having worked Target electronics, I know that you see a ton of stuff (especially from the clearance EC's) get gutted every day

I had the oddest experience yesterday. Because the clearance games are now locked up at my Target, and I had general merchandise with me to buy, I "had to go up front." But because the game had been locked merchandise, I had to be walked halfway down the store and handed off to the clerk, who seemed just as annoyed and embarrassed about the whole ordeal as I was.

Needless to say, lesson learned. Buy any general merch I want only after I've already bought my clearance stuff.

Found a couple of copies for $8.74 (75% off).

This was in the Tomball, TX store....
