Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Just saw 2 of the RB2 Wii bundles for $69, was pretty shocked since they weren't there Monday, and even more shocked to see what they're listed for on Amazon/Ebay. If it wasn't for them being so massively huge and a PITA to ship I would've grabbed them...
 
Saw at least 5 Starcraft 2 Collectors Editions at the Target in Short Pump/Richmond, VA. I "think" (but I am not certain) that they were $69ish.

Me either, but there has been tons of other games/merch which I know they've pulled for an extended period of time and then put back out. I always check the PC section and clearance just to be sure...I hold a small grain of hope.

I saw these and they had no clearance marks on them but when I scanned it it was 127.48...I'm hoping they never put the clearance stickers on them so the price falls but nobody shopping knows without scanning it at the price scanner :D I'll pick it up then if it somehow goes to 50%

If anybody sees a SC II CE for $50 or less let me know for sure, I will obviously pay for shipping and throw in another $10 or buy you something for about that on Steam. Should be getting taxes back in a couple weeks so I can actually afford it.

Was at a store (Clovis, CA) and picked up Naruto Shippuden Legends for the PSP for $14.98 and NBA2K10 for $7.48 (PSP). Majority of the games at this store were Wii and for DS a lot of Tunguska and adventure games but nothing under $19.99. I did see NBA2k10 but for PS3 and XB360 for $19.99.

I've seen them at the Target's here in Lincoln, but they've just been left in the normal PC sections. I've also seen days where the pricing team will get behind and just leave stuff sitting in the back room until they have time to get to it, which can be annoying especially for those that either don't work at a Target or know someone who does.
 
I swear that Targets in the Harrisburg, PA area (and surrounding areas) never have anything good, clearance-wise. They seem to be among the group that is far behind most other stores, and the games are still gone when at high prices. Ugh.

I think the last good thing I got was Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition for the PS3 at $15 maybe a month or two ago.
 
The Target in Mechanicsville/Richmond, VA just off 295 never does their markdowns. I see stuff there for full price that Target dumped 8 months ago every time I go there.

That being said, they were the only store in the area that had any copies of Mario Power Tennis New Play Control when it was on clearance.
 
Nothing on the game front today... But for you Beatles fans, if you happen by the music section, all the Beatles Album Art coffee mugs at my Target were 75% off (9.99 --> 2.49) today. They had a bunch of them...

And Glee shirts were 75% off in the music section, too, just in case there are any Glee fans out there... You don't have to speak up. We know who you are ;)

A pattern I've noticed - if it starts at 15% it will never drop below 50% off. If it starts at 30% then it will.

Greenday Rockband (ps3) for $12.XX
it was not marked clearance but there was a regular (yellow/white) price tag that said "NCF PS3 Game" or something like that
 
Target by me has never dropped anything. I had the guy check some of the games with the Telzon(gun) and normal pricing. I did find a Goodwill nearby so I may hit that up one day.

Rock Band 2 started at 15% though didn't it? That went to 75% albeit hard to find at that point it still dropped that low.
 
Came across a couple of one-off finds today. No RED or DPCI's only because these finds are already in the OP and seem to be even more YMMV than normal:)

Found Starcraft II CE for $49.98 at one store

Then found Vanquish

for 19.98 at a second store

There was only one copy of each game between the two stores and they weren't there during my previous visits. Actually haven't seen either copy in a Target for months, which was enough to motivate me to buy them even though they were only marked to the 50% off.

A third store dropped Naughty Bear to 12.48 (75% off). Picked it up as punishment for not waiting on another drop for Vanquish or SC II;). Going to force myself thru this game before I crack open the other two.

Other than that, no new price drops. Most stores have Trauma Team and Pirates sitting at either 30% or 50% off :bomb:

And for non-video game clearance finds, saw a drumset for 63.xx and I think the starting price was around $250. Looked like a basic full-size set, aka not toy-sized. Didn't think to get the DPCI since I have no interest. But might be worthwhile for some one else

I went to the Greenwood Target here in Indiana searching for White Knight Chronicles and they had 0.

Sucks but I understand. Just wish they wouldn't have said they had a few on the locator haha.

But again I understand it's first come first serve. Just spreading the word.
 
The Starcraft II CE still held at 30% and the Rock Band 2 Wii sets were gone when I went today. I managed to score some dartboard sets for $3 each so it wasn't too bad.

the puzzle was probably $5 since it was $10 regular price if I remember correctly... Went to target but didn't check the stock up save up section :/

:lol: I just saw those today too and noted the DPCI #'s for those Mario collector's (they're in yellow). I believe those Mario items were at 50% off. I can't remember the last time I saw so many items on clearance.

Also, for the 1st time, I saw a couple of :pc:Starcraft II C.E. for $69.98 (30% off) that I don't think will survive another drop. It looks very nice and the box is pretty heavy. I want one :lol:

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I saw a couple of Mario backpacks; a Mario Kart one and some other one I can't remember. I think the Mario Kart one had Mario looking over his shoulder, giving a thumbs up, and had wheels on it. There was only 1 of each left.
