Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

My target has about 20 Yahtzees. I picked up two. Lots of Mario backpacks as well but no yoshi. Hydrox - I'd hook you up but shipping on these things have got to hit the 2 lb weight.

Was going to head out to check on the fight and the shoot, but just checked the reviews on gaming sites, and they all say they're pretty bad (3 on ign for the fight). I think I'll hold off on getting a move for a while. Was almost fooled by decent amazon ratings.

I just left the Target on beltway 8 and blackhawk and got Alice in Wonderland (wii) for 7 bucks. They did have tons of all 3 move games for $10 but I already have all three. They should be still there if anyone in Houston is looking. Also, I saw a lone copy of mvc3 se sitting on the shelf. I would have bought it if I didn't already own it.

I went to a couple of stores today (San Felipe/Meyerland) and finally saw :ps3::360:DA:O U.E. for $34.xx (30% off). Also, The Fight & The Shoot went down to $9.xx in those stores. I forgot to mention that a couple of S.W. TFU II C.E. showed up too ($59.xx).

Anyone found the Force Unleashed CE in Atlanta? I'm looking to pay around 40 but I'd rather have a new rather than used copy if I can find it on clearance.

Dang so there was no Halo LE there? They had 2 last week for $79 and I was hoping they would see a drop this week.
 
Um my Target still has 2 MvC3 CE for PS3 and I think 4-5 for Xbox 360.

Saw all the PS Move games down to $9.98. I already picked up The Fight when it was $20 though. Blackops PE for Xbox 360 dropped in price but PS3 version was still marked the same. I probably should have scanned it to check though. I might be willing to buy it for $105.
 
Found a copy of The Fight finally, and even better that it dropped to $10.

Also found 2 SW:FU2 LEs for 360 at one Target, and 2 for PS3 at another. Only at 30% off though, so I didn't get them.

What surprised me was a GT5 CE at 30% off, which I did pick up. I don't know if I want to keep it sealed, open it, or sell the thing at this point.

Edit: GT5 CE DCPI is 207 24 0458, guess it hasn't been reported by anyone else.
 
Wow, guess my Target is the last one on earth selling the Move games for $20 still. I went back to my Target and a copy of The Fight magically reappeared but it was (hand-marked, must've been a return and they tried to peel off the clearance tag) at $20 and Mel B was still at $20 as well. (confirmed with scanner)

Guess because most everything sold out at $20 they're keeping it there another week to sell the last 2 Move games.. :/

Is the Fight as bad as the reviews make it sound?
 
Saw a few move games at my target, but the biggest thing I noticed was a blackops Call of Duty collectors edition (for the 360 if I recall correctly) Sadly it was at $112 so not exactly marked down.

Saw Starcraft 2 for $24.96, COD BO Prestige for like 116 )i think), Beatles rockband for 7.46. some others. I picked up the Starcraft.

Edit was $125 for COD BO. They have these at most Targets in the Albany area. They also had The Shooter, Fighting (or something) for like 9.98 and Bayonetta for $14.xx for 360. I passed.

I went to both Targets in Boynton Beach, FL today. I picked up The Shoot at one for $9.98. Only one copy there. Nothing else really, just some Mel B's for $9.98 and the usual Trauma Center/Bayonetta. I might look at some more stores on my way home from work to see if I can find the Shoot for a friend.

For those asking about The Fight, I got it around Christmas and it was extremely frustrating at first. But then I went through the tutorial and started kicking some ass. It's a crazy workout. I was out of breath and dripping with sweat after like two or three matches. It's not the best game, and some parts are broken, but it is a lot of fun and definitely better than the critic reviews. Check actual user reviews on Amazon, that's what convinced me to get it.
 
Nothing really new today, just stacks of Get Fit w/Mel B @ $9.98 and 3 copies of The Shoot @ $9.98 (one of which I bought to replace my soon-to-be-returned $19.98 copy).

I did see Alice in Wonderland and some ColdStone Creamery game for Wii @ $7.48 each, but they were in the plastic prisons - not on the usual clearance endcap.
 
Saw the same reported prices for only move games @ my local targets(9.98). Will these drop again?My targets seem to have no rhyme or reason to when they drop!
 
Picked up The Fight and The Shoot for $9.98 each. Only copies there, keeping these now that the Amazon value dropped, was hoping to get a few extra in on that flip. Ah well.

Also, dude at customer service let me return/rebuy my Nintendo Monopoly and Mario puzzle, giving me $10 plus tax back. Showed him my receipt and he started calling the dreaded manager, so I quickly asked him if I could just return them and then buy them for the lower price. He said since she wasn't paying any attention, sure, he'd do it. :lol: Needed this get, after completely striking out at my Best Buy with pulled penny guides and no Tekken bundles.

No good drops this week. Naughty Bear 360 still holding at $12.98 and COD: Black Ops Prestige 360 (pretty beat up) still holding at $128.

That's likely as low as Naughty Bear goes since I believe it started the clearance cycle full-priced, so that's 75% off.

I could be wrong, though. All of my stores were cleared out when it hit that price...
 
my Target has seriously sucked lately. Their clearance section consisted of 3 copies of Bayonetta for 14.98. That's it. Don't even have shovelware anymore.
 
For people finding Gran Turismo 5 CE, did your location have it prior to it going on clearance? I don't believe I have ever seen one of those at any of my targets before.

Usually Targets dont receive clearance items, they only clearance their stock.

Some locations will have never received CE items for the very reason of no shelf space, or only limited quantities and once they're sold they're gone

Well I ask because people were saying how they never saw any Starcraft II CE's at their stores until they were hitting clearance.

True. Our store is better with people `Inpatient` (9 SC 2 CEs for $24.xx) and Target's way of doing thing maybe annoying/dumb but in the end helps those who can wait!!! :) I almost never buy games at FULL price anymore thanks to Target and Black Friday!!! Whenever they come back on the floor chances are good for them to be clearanced!

However, I did luck out last night and finally found The Shoot & The Fight for $10 at the Target on 290 by my job last night. They were marked at $19.99 but scanned at $10. There were quite a few left too. But I only grabbed one since I'm not hoarding to resell.

I believe Naughty Bear is at 75% at $12.98. I don't believe I've ever seen video games go to 90%. It will most likely go to Goodwill or be scrapped.

Haha, the Hoarding thing comes up every now and then. I think the only obligation people should have is to make the most money and save the most money they can. As a matter of karma, I do typically leave one copy for the guy who searches in vain for that last copy, but hey... I don't even think that's required. All the copies of those Move titles around here were $20+ last time I checked. Kinda sad, really. People around here are so gungho about buying titles before they go hit the low percentages, there might as well not be any clearance atm. I'm sure they'll get tired of saving no money and stop buying eventually. It happened last year exactly the same here. They got hooked during Christmas, then tapered off as we moved through the year, leaving all the more for me.
 
Yes hoarders DO SUCK!!! But what I don't get is how would anyone buy something at 200+% all the time for hoarders to work? Stuff clearly wasn't that limited/sold out on release day (Xbox/Wii) during Holidays or anything...
 
Does anybody know if Dragon Age: UE has returned to full price? I know one other person at least has noticed this at my Target (Salisbury, MD), but haven't seen it discussed much elsewhere. Last time I was there I noticed at least one copy but it was in the case and priced full. Think it's worth having them take it out and scan it?
 
Just left a Target where they had 2 copies of 360 MvC CE and 1 of PS3... Then to another Target where they had 1 PS3... They are still out there...

I picked up the Fight and the Shoot today. Also, saw :360: DA:UE for $34.98 on clearance at a store that didn't clear it on the first go around...

It might not have started in the clearance cycle at your store yet. One store I went to yesterday had just started the game on clearance within the last week.
 
MOST average consumers do NOT buy a CE/LE. They go for only the regular edition. Even if it's a good looking steelcase with extras for just $10 more. Only the hardcore gamers or collectors buy them most the time. You would think 2 copies guarantee a sell out, but not really!

Pretty sure somebody said they picked up a few for under $10 at my store earlier... I never saw any myself for the 360, but did see a few on the PS3.
