Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

yeah Rochester seems to be the only location with any real clearance around here right now. Worst part is Shelby took down the shelf where they used to have clearance, and they had some of the best clearance for targets in this area in my opinion. Haven't seen a single clearance game there since they did the remodel. Really hoping to find a Borderlands GOTY somewhere around here soon, been watching it at every location I can.

Granted you end up with credit spread out, and it's unsustainable past a point but you can trade in way more than 2.

Well, Target should at least match the $200 price cuts that Apple allowed others to do. There are only a couple of stores around me that have any iPads and it's the 1st gen model that originally retailed for $829.

Asked to have a price check, knowing that AT&T's online store currently has the same model for $529. Current in-store price came up at $729

If you really want a cheaper iPad, try Verizon stores for the wifi models (cheapest being the 16gb @ $299) or go with AT&T for the wifi+3G models.

BACK to TARGET clearance. Hopefully there'll be some new finds tomorrow because it has sucked for a few weeks. I blame it on the fake wood panels they've put in a few of the Electronic aisles. Looks nice though.
 
Time to check my store tommorow. Last decent thing they had was a few random copies of SSF4 that popped up for like 14.99, and a couple of random DS games
 
Picked up the last copy of Modnation Racers on PSP for $4.57 yesterday. It wasn't red tag clearanced or anything but behind the glass with the other games with the standard tagging.

Salisbury, MD Target looks like bad news. They took the whole shelf down (I think there was two actually, not counting the bottom shelf) on the clearance rack. That can't be good news since they're obviously expecting less stuff there. Good news is that they took out all of those movies cluttering the section though.
 
OK just got back from the target. They have 27 left as of half an hour ago. Grabbed 3 copies to trade on here, one is already claimed.

If anyone who couldn't get on this one needs help with it I'll ship out the other 2 for $13 shipped. I will not ship someone both copies. If you intend to flip them, don't even bother PMing me. I intend to get these out to people who actually want to play the game. If a lot of people PM me beyond the 2 copies I might run and grab a couple more to help the people that PM me.
 
If anyone is interested in any one of the 15 copies of :ps3: UFC 2010 for 14.98, my target is the place to go! Other than that, they had a 32" Sanyo LCD and about 6 copies of backyard something for the DS.

Also, as a random aside, Target's paper product prices have skyrocketed over the last few months. I'm supposed to buy 12 roles of bounty for 17.99? On sale?
 
Nothing worth a darn at my Target today. A whole crapload of iPhone & iPod accessories, a couple of those projectors, a couple copies of DJ Hero 2 for Wii, and some HDMI cables that are still way overprices even on clearance @ 50% off (still cost around $45!).

Any companies that sell HDMI cables at retail must be making 1000% profit since those things are outrageous!

There has been nothing at my local target for weeks :/ I was there yesterday and the only game I saw was some Naked Brothers Band DS game.
 
So is it only one store that has confirmed the NBA2k11 clearance? Or is the Rochester store the second store (the first being the one a couple of weeks ago that everyone thought was a mistake?)

I don't see enough people in here talking about NBA2k11 to make it worth my while to do a Target sweep, it seems to be still very localized.

Kudos to the poster who is sending out three copies for $13 shipped though. Glad that others are getting the chance to enjoy this great game at that price.

I checked a different Target today.. saw Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock for Wii for $10.00, and MLB 2K10 for $21.

Everything else was junk.. hopefully next week they'll do their reset and have something better over there.
 
My Target clearance section are mostly cleaned out. I'm hoping that it means new clearance items will be placed soon. I managed to grab Final Fantasy 4 Heroes of Light. I've waited for weeks hoping it will be under 5 dollars. I see it go from 17.xx to 12.xx to 6.24! I also saw the Secret Files game again, but now it has dropped to 2.xx. I grabbed both DS games.
 
Grabbed :ds: FF: 4 Heroes of Light for $6.24. Nothing else of note.

I wonder how many hundreds of times I've heard:

May check a different Target tomorrow.. I was there pretty early this morning, and probably didn't give the clearance team time to work anything.

I'd love to get 4 Hero's of Light for $6.xx tomorrow.
 
Found FF for the DS. Still one of the Professor Layton and the Curious Village for $14.98. Missed out on the $45 projector, which is too bad since I was going to buy it to use in my classroom.
 
It looks like El Horado strikes again. He was spotted buying 30 wii clearance games at the 17th and Grand store in Santa Ana, CA this morning.

You see the repackaged 32" LED HDtv from I think Westinghouse at the store for $240 something? I was tempted to buy it the other night. Since it's a repack though it won't drop any further most likely, so it's either buy it at that price or forget about it.
