I tried to change my name to GUNNM but it stayed all lower case I tried again and I'm not allowed to until a full year. alright!

I slept for 13 hours.

FFXII is my new pringles. I always plan on playing an hour or two, and then I look up and it's 5am.

I also want to give Lords of Shadow another shot. Love the art direction and the soundtrack is fucking boss. Plus 2D animation in the menus? Come on, son.

Almost smart enough to get up in dat Mitsuru in P3P.

This has been an update. I'm going somewhere with a black background now.

 
I had 146 notifications this morning. Gotta change them settings.....

Maybe they fixed it where I can post more than once per half-hour....

Any predictions about Konami surprises today? Maybe a fighting game with characters from Castlevania, Metal Gear, and Yu-gi-oh?

If you have a PC,wait til August and give it a proper shot there. It's a solid game with good art direction, though the gameplay design is all over the place. The variable frame rate is sometimes covered in the God of War style slow motion impact moments, but when it hits during dodge attempts or climbing sections it can be infuriating. I liked the game enough that I will buy the PC port and hopefully it will be much more enjoyable the 2nd time around.

When is Rising coming to PC again? Did they ever set a date? I think MK9 is late July and Lords of Shadow is the end of August...

What time is the Konami thing again?

 
Y'know, before I knew which kite to buy or knife to use.  Because they were THE kite and THE knife.

Know I feel confused and alone and unsure of my decisions regarding flying pieces of cloth or sharp utensils. :(

Did you see that the new Smash Bros. trailer is going to be shown during Nintendo's E3 on 6/11?  My life is now complete. I must go buy a WiiU immediately.  How did I not buy one before?!

I really hope Nintendo either does a price drop on the Wii U or does some deals with free games like they did when the Gamecube sales started to sputter.
 
Still wouldn't actually convince me to buy a WiiU -- A Link to the Past 2 finally pushed me in for a 3DS XL, but that's now my Nintendo nostalgia machine (Super Mario whatever, Luigi's Mansion, exclusives not titled Monster Hunter, etc.).  I don't need a second one of those, I think.  Not even with a new Zelda or Betrayonetta 2.

That Batman screen is brilliant.  He sort of looks like a "special" man who dressed up as Batman and then dropped a load in his pants. :rofl:

Side note: CAG has now changed their browser/bookmark icon to Cheapy's head.  fucking disturbing.  At least it helps me adjust to the light color scheme for now as I'm not looking at the tab and expecting the dark background when I click. :lol:

Crap I thought it wasn't for several hours. Oh well, I got nothing to do but sit around with my ankle levitated still, so I can just wait. Also as a Wii U owner since launch I can say though there's been several good titles (namely NSMBU, Scribblenauts and Lego City Undercover), there has been no reason not to wait. I think if the new consoles are launching at $400 they have to drop the price, no one is going to care about a $50 difference. $500 might give them some breathing room, but it still might not be enough.

I've never played an AC game, but think I'm going to pick this one up. I'll probably just buy the digital version. Since it's a play in short bursts game, I'd rather just have it installed so I can just leave whatever 3DS game I'm seriously playing at the time in the slot and not be changing game cards back and forth.

Same here. I love my 3DS for Nintendo games. I don't need a Wii U to just clutter the TV stand and gather dust between Mario/Metroid/Zelda releases like my Wii did both times I picked one up.

I do wish the 3DS virtual console had SNES games though.

 
As someone who plays primarily RPG games, the Wii U really isn't even trying to get me as a customer so far. I see it as an embarrasment that the Tales of Symphonia HD collection is going to Sony.

Supposedly a dark theme option will be up later today.

They just imported the forums and are working on getting all the options online, and other content (front page, trade feedback, social groups) etc. imported and set up.

There's a long thread in the Feedback forum about the upgrade.

fuckin' A-right. I'd buy some of the classic SNES games in a heartbeat. LttP, Super Mario World, Super Mario All-Stars, Super Metroid. Not sure why they're not working.

 
Being stuck on the first page is fixed.

They've been saying the dark theme would be up by tonight since yesterday afternoon, so hopefully they hit that target.

Happened to me, too, with all the longer forum threads. Thought it was just my browser and switched from Safari to Firefox, and it magically worked in both o_O;

If Konami was going to whore themselves out, at least they picked Kiefer. Should hopefully do a good job, but I feel bad for Hayter getting sent to the curb.

Get ready for the game to debut on the season opener of 24 next May on Fox!

I suppose it kind of makes sense in that Naked Snake shouldn't sound exactly like Solid Snake, even if they used Hayter previously. Since Solid is the product of Big Boss/Naked Snake's DNA, it makes sense they should sound similar but not exactly the same. I don't know that I'm necessarily for the decision, but it could be okay.

Remember, way back when, Metal Gear Solid 2 was hype as hell... then they released it and you played the majority of the game as pre-badass Raiden. So there's some possibility for shenanigans here as well too.
