I could have used a USB headset, a bluetooth headset (I lost my Warhawk one)... I could use either for working from home via VPN, or a wired Xbox controller, so there's a few of the items here I would have taken.
The X1 might work out well though...I might just have to put the baby monitor...
No kidding. The Woot BOC hasn't been much better from time to time. There was some box from a housewares place about 2 years back...I forget where...now THAT was an awful BOC.
I got my gamer box today. Turtle Beach Ear Force X1 - opened and has a BB inspected plastic on it as usual. Haven't...
The SF Anniversary stick was xbox/ps2 compatible but I think the licensing/copy protection stuff on the Xbox controller makes it pricier to do something like that now. It's too bad.
Lunar 2 plays on both the old fat PS2 and the EARLY slimline PS2s. Apparently some of the newest slimlines broke compatibilty with it.
It worked fine on my (original) slimline PS2. Wikipedia has the link that shows it broken on the Sony website - but this is for the newer slimlines...
Yo
I found Twisted Metal and a bazillion copies of Wipeout for PSP on clearance at Target for $4.98, and Viewtiful Joe DS for the same price. Wipeout was at both Midland and Saginaw Target stores. You know, if you have a PSP. Also one copy of Killer7 for GC for $2.97. FYI.
I like cars plenty. Mine is supercharged. I find racing as a sport or as a game very dull, though. Whew, run around the track, repeat. Too simple. NASCAR is even worse because not even the track is interesting.
Ugh, racing games. Boring. The only racing games I enjoy are the ones with weapons ala Mario Kart. Racers like Gran Tourismo bore me to tears. I'd rather watch paint dry. They are probably the one kind of game I have almost zero interest in.
Greatest system was the SNES IMO. I quit playing platformers when they moved 3d (exempting a few like Maximo). SNES is the RPG heaven for me, with 2D platformers I would still play, and a handful of other great stuff.
For you guys having trouble with the Genesis, I had similiar problems with a Genesis 1 and a JVC X'Eye with my Infocus X1 DLP projector. It simply did not look right no matter what - crazy flickering (too badly to even play) on the bottom half of the screen. I assumed the Genesis was bad and...
There's a giant arcade called Pinball Pete's in Ann Arbor. Tons of pinball machines, arcade games, etc. Prices are still reasonable last time we were there.
I started weeding out my classic systems. I simply don't have a lot of time to play games, plus trying to run a controller 12-14 feet across the living room (projector), plus our 11mo old grabbing at wires. ARGH.
I still have the NES/SNES, but the Sega CD combo (JVC X'Eye) went out, the...
I'm ebaying my component cables. I'll probably keep the GC as it's barely worth enough to sell.
I already pulled the GC from my audio rack and moved it to my computer room (hooked up with DC and PSone with a universal s-video cable to my PC via Gamebridge USB).
You should collect games because they are good and you would like to play them, not because of what they are worth. What they are worth should only matter if you are just reselling.
In which case you should
A) resell as soon as you get it (and avoid losing money due to a reprint) or
B)...
