The sale system is something completely new that's been in development with GS. They're not going to use the currently running GS or EB POS.

Trade in values should be the same by now. I know most of the price adjustments have been done and over the last couple of days I've noticed a significant amount of trade in prices have changed as well.

Every time we leave the store we have to empty our pockets and have our bags looked through. Not quite so bad when you see the DM's and RM's having to do the same whenever they come through. At first I thought it was demeaning but after being with GS for 2 years I don't even think about it...

The extended system warranties that GameStop sells aren't transferrable. They're only good for the person who originally purchased the system. These warranties are pretty decent if you have a decent store in the area. Any of the systems I've returned on the warranty were a pretty easy...

I'm sure most of you will, but definitely call ahead before you waste the gas money. Our DM has told us a few times that a B2G1 was going to happen and it never did...same thing with cutting it short, happens all the time.

It's up to the individual retailer whether or not they sell Mature rated games to anyone under 17. It's not law, just a matter of company policy. I know GameStop's policy is that we can't sell mature rated games to anyone under 17 unless there's parental permission. Most parents don't care...

We haven't heard anything about CD trades yet, but unfortunately, my store is slotted to become a MovieStop. We do more trade and sales on DVD's than anything else. Hopefully I won't be there when it happens.

Generally training is 4-6 hours per day scheduled. Just depends on the manager.

There's training at GameStop? Why didn't I get any? Maybe I should say something...I've only been there a year. Maybe they just haven't gotten around to it. :roll:

the game does come with a set of congas. Just another uninformed sales person.

New Kids on the Block was my first concert...not to mention the next concert I went to was Celine Dion and Michael Bolton. POTUSA is a much better first concert.
