[quote name='Chacrana']No way. I had a Samsung LCD (it was a 7 series) for all of two days before I took it back. I tried playing Beatmania on the thing, and the lag was awful. It was not playable. Even with game mode, it still had severe input lag, and you get the added bonus of not being able to tweak any settings, so everything has mad edge enhancement and looks kinda washed out. The weirdest issue that I only noticed with 2D games with lots of fast motion, though, was that the TV couldn't

ing keep up. It would occasionally hitch up, and then blur everything moving onscreen for a few seconds, and then go back to normal. I couldn't believe that shit.
So I took it back, got a Panny plasma, and it's perfect. I have had absolutely no input lag issues with it (using Beatmania as a reference, again), and it looks a
hell of a lot better, which is especially noticeable when upscaling SD stuff.
So back on topic: I kept considering whether I was gonna cancel that TE stick.
I was thinkin' "y'know, it's just gonna make things more complicated", but I'm sorta committed now, too, and it's what I want. So I'm keeping it.

Bad set or user error? Again, for people reading this thread and concerned about input lag, go to AVSforum. Don't listen to shmucks on CAG. Members of the AVSforum do cool stuff like this:

That's for the 6 series which is the same as the 7 series, just fewer bells and whistles.
