I like the multiple fuck's you've got there. Especially the copy of fuck for Genesis sticking out of the 32X.
How do you have that one LCD mounted? It looks really cool like that.
It's an LCD mounting arm I purchased at IKEA for 20 bucks I mounted it to a stud in my wall and used LEDs for a backlight.

Primary Set-Up 61" Samsung DLP, Onkyo HT-S790 (7.1 1000 watt)

Systems

Secondary Sey-Up 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor (Dvi,Vga,Component,Composite,S-Video)

Games and Movies

Oh yea baby. Using a 29" NEC XM29 Plus RGB/VGA Monitor that can sync @15/31Khz >.

2 Consolized Atomiswave system:

Specs:

- Component Video Output
- S-Video Output
- Composite Video (RCA Yellow) Ouput
- Stereo Left/Right Output
- Test/Service buttons
- Neo Geo AES/MVS Controller Connectors
- Power LED

Kind of an over-kill, but I have 2 systems. One for playing at low-res and one at high-res.

It's a simple dip-switch adjustment, but I'm too lazy to flick that switch all the time.

Here a pic's of Neo Geo Battle Coliseum, Dolphin Blue and Demolish Fist.

Enjoy the glory of "real" home Arcade gaming. :)

I've moved it since I took that picture. I had just gotten it and did not know how much it heated up.

That's beautiful.

May I ask where/how did you get a "consolized Atomiswave" board.
My mom has that same TV Lebowski, it's awesome. Great picture, especially for the price.
I do love the TV, but when I purchased it, it sure as hell wasn't a good price. It was a replacement for another Sony Wega XBR that crapped out on me. I believe this model is one of the first Sony CRT HDTVs that they made. I think I got it in 2001. It was roughly $2000 back then. 2 grand can buy a pretty damn nice widescreen HDTV now, but I'll take my CRT picture over anything...until it dies.

My Main Setup (For Now):
32" Westinghouse 720p 32w3 TV
Yamaha 600w 5.1 Surround Sound
HD-DVR (HDMI/Coaxial Digital Out)
Xbox 360 (VGA/Optical Dolby Digital)
Wii (Component/RCA Pro Logic II)
Slim PS2 (Component/Optical Pro Logic II)
100_2012.JPG

It has since changed a bit. rear speakers are now moved and the games have tripled in size. plus i need pics of all my PSP and DS Stuff.

i also have my retro gamin setup upstairs in my office where my DC, GC/GB Player, Nes, PSX, SNES, Genesis are all at.

Hey xcopy, would you mind putting a break in-between about half of your pictures to not skew the forum tables? Sure would appreciate it.

Everything looks mega sweet thus far. Keep up the good work ladies.

Nice TV! How much did it cost?

ha ha, I have that same TV. And that same electronic doorway toy. Both of those are in the same room. With toys in plastic baskets nearby.

Are you sure you didn't take pictures at my house?

And to xcopy: your Neo Geo set up is sick. Or makes me sick, I'm not sure which.
Nice TV! How much did it cost?
It was $850 when i bought it but its now as low as $699 on sale at best buy. Its a great TV for the price.

Also some updated pics of the game collection. (Only newer games, no nes, snes, sega, dc, etc.)

I dont have any recent pics of the DS, GBA, and PSP collection yet.

I updated my consolized dual Sammy Atomiswave set-up. ;)

Using a 29" Nec XM29 Plus tri-sync broadcast RGB monitor that sync's to 15khz/31khz. That's why everything looks so colorful and vibrant.

It's hooked up to my Polk Audio 5.1 Surround Sound Home theater.

I recently just picked up KOF:XI Full Kit as well. It runs about $340-$350 without the mobo.

So far the games I have are.

Demolish Fist
KOF: Neowave
KOF:XI
Nights Of Valor
Dolphin Blue
Neo geo Battle Colesium
The Rumble Fish

I plan to pick up all the games made for it.

This year we took spring break, a few thousand and remodeled the garage into my very own 300 square foot game room. Here are a few pics of the finnished product along with my new PS3 which I got as a welcome home gift last week.

11-19-06201191.jpg

11-19-06201190.jpg

11-19-06201182.jpg

We did all this in addition to adding flooring (storage) in the attic and one of those cool drop down stairs. We had three other small projects that week and got them done too; storage shed, new kitchen facet, and electric t-stat.

I have forgot how to make these thumbnails if someone will enlighted me that would be great.
I didnt see an area where there was a "post your setup" thread. Hope this is fine.

I'd replace that rack with something a little nicer, you can afford the 3 newest consoles, you can def. afford a decent looking rack for your eqipiment, they can be had for under 100, seen some nice ones at WalMart

Flooring is nice, the tv seems a little too high up though

Reminds me I need to one day put my pics up here

Have your consoles a little bit more separated. This is not only to make the setup look better, but also to keep each system well ventilated, especially for the PS3. If anything, your PS3 should be on top. Nice setup tho.

Pretty good. But very messy. Cords flying everywhere, and that shelf you keep your consoles is no good.

Get a new cabinet to hold all your consoles, and either hide your cords or make them more straight. And then it'd be all good.

I believe there was a setup pics thread but I cannot find it either. Could you change the name of this thread to a post pics of your setup thread so that more people can join in?

I'd take the messy cords and shelf anyday with all three consoles and my very own gaming room with a big widescreen hdtv and surround sound. Lol looks great to me, I'll have to wait till I graduate for any of that xD. Thats not even messy to me....that actually looks really clean, yours is about 10x cleaner than where I play

When you remodeled the room you should have put audio line outlets and such so that all the wires hanging from the flat panel and the speakers didn't show, it's really easy to do. Other then that looks good, at least you own all the systems unlike some fools.

Hmm... okay, you've got a really good start there, but... there's some things you can do to make the room much, much better.

1) Replace that rack you have for your systems. It's ghetto and so is the mess of cables going to the TV. Get a legitimate TV stand, put the TV on there, and have the consoles inside the stand. I guarantee you that it will be much, much nicer looking.

2) Find some way to hide the audio cables. The room looks kinda bare, so I'm sure you can find some shit to throw in there and hide things.

3) Maybe get a rug for under that chair. Oh, and you could use a footrest.

When your in here playing the TV doesnt seem to high. When I had this mounted in the bedroom it seemed a little low to me so I moved it up two inches. I put the center bold for the mount at exactly 61". For me thats perfect; so far atleast.

The flooring was a bit@h I am no carpenter and it took 10 hours to do.

I cant believe everyone is on me about the shelves for the systems. hehe
I am going to get something better (I have no clue what) but this was used just to have something, I just have not found anything better. I am no carpenter so building something into the wall is out.

Thanks.
Having the PS3 on the bottom and the 360 on the top was something that just happened. I just wanted the two that needed to be vented the most on their own shelf.

DarkNessBear Pretty good. But very messy. Cords flying everywhere, and that shelf you keep your consoles is no good.

I know its messy as hell now but tomorrow I get those HDMI and optical cables then its cord cleanup time.

bstan21 looks pretty good. you can go to Home Depot and get paintable wire coverings that will hide all that mess.

Good idea, I think we have something like this at work. I will check that out.

willardhaven Organize wires
Lower television
Move chair/seating closer
We are just getting things setup in here (buying stuff and such). So we are playing with where things are but I like the open feel so far. I dont mind being a little further from the set. We have a bigger LCD HDTV in the living room that was part of this setup too, but I didnt want to bring it in here, I felt this was mine so I could have the slightly smaller one (32"). But when your playing your not so far back that its a bother.

Psykodelik I agree w/the shelf. Also add a little more furniture in there. Like a coffee table, posters/paintings on the wall etc...
I went with a coffee (Mocha-ish) color for the walls, wood floor (laminate), darker for the trim, (like our local hardback in Hastings), its warm and inviting. So the futon was to keep us under budget for the room while netting us three added seating. I wanted something much better but that will come in time. We have not decided on pictures or whatever. I am thinking I would like something dark and thought provoking. hehe we so need a coffee table or just something to put your dam feet on.

Zoglog I believe there was a setup pics thread but I cannot find it either. Could you change the name of this thread to a post pics of your setup thread so that more people can join in?
Edited title of thread.

Michaellvortega When you remodeled the room you should have put audio line outlets and such so that all the wires hanging from the flat panel and the speakers didn't show, it's really easy to do. Other then that looks good, at least you own all the systems unlike some fools.
Should have talked to some of you guys first. I dont think I know what your talking about though. lol
I wish there were no wires showing but its not such a big bother to me so far.

Chacrana Hmm... okay, you've got a really good start there, but... there's some things you can do to make the room much, much better.

1) Replace that rack you have for your systems. It's ghetto and so is the mess of cables going to the TV. Get a legitimate TV stand, put the TV on there, and have the consoles inside the stand. I guarantee you that it will be much, much nicer looking.

3) Maybe get a rug for under that chair. Oh, and you could use a footrest.

1. I wish you all would show me some you thought were good but not to costly. I have not seen any I thought would work yet. But I really want the TV on the wall I love the look of it plus its up there to stay no knocking it off or over.
2. Cables I got wire tie things for. Room is a work in progress, we are avid readers so we have loads and loads of books so I know two good book cases are in order soon. Some that will be a deep cherry like the floor.
3. Rug is a must we learned that this weekend. But the footrest is the first thing I am going after, this has been our first weekend in the room and I cant believe I didnt think of it sooner.

maybe you should have the ps2 on the bottom since it's the only wired console. So you don't have any hanging wires when you're sittin back

I don't have anything in mind for the TV stand... perhaps scour Best Buy and see if they have anything. For racks and stands, I personally recommend the creatively named racksandstands.com. You should be able to find something there... and seriously, once you have your TV on a stand instead of ghetto-mounted on the wall, you'll understand.

Since I myself have a fairly sizable collection and only my bedroom for creating a game setup, I've been through this all before. Home theater and game rooms are basically my specialty now.
holy shit darkness bear owns a 360?
Yea... I get that alot.

DarkNessBear, do you have that TV mounted to that stand? Pics a lil blurry.

Mounted? No. Its just a TV stand. A little small though for all my stuff.

Ill take a better picture tomorrow.
You notice the TVs, I notice the fact that he has four 360s.
I'm more impressed by the gigantic banana.

Man, if you think the OP has a shit ton of cords you really don't want to see my set up. Between my HDTV, 7.1 receiver (only 5 speakers for the moment), DVR, turntable (yes I still prefer vinyl), 360, Xbox, and PS2 its a rats nest all most. Not to mention that my PC is right next to the set up, so that ads a few more into the mix...

When we move (hopefully soon!) I plan on doing my best to get a much better set up if space allows. I'll probably take pics of mine soon and post...seeing as it looks like quite a bit of us are a little messy lol
I'm more impressed by the gigantic banana.
I was wondering that myself

...."ring ring ring, banana phone"...sorrry couldn't resist zog lol
Yea... I get that alot.
I knew you had one from other threads. What I can't believe is that you have a Wii.

Nice to see everyones setup. Glad I changed the thread title.
It gives me a few more ideas. DMES surely you dont have that many 360s. You just moved that one around with a dif face plate and such.?????
