Frisky,

When setting up the next season can you try to give me some CPU games during the like October 1-10? I'm going to be in South Korea then. I'm hoping I can get one game in before I go and one game right when I get back so it'll only be the middle of the week that is really important. I figure my time can win a simulated game against the CPU. Basically, anything to avoid user games around those dates is appreciated.
 
Anyone know what the deal is with Arkay? I have yet to get a response in this thread or from the PM I sent him several days ago.
 
I will be leaving Wed. morning for PAX and will be gone until Mon. evening. If we have adavanced before then I will get my game in with Matt. Otherwise I will set vacation mode and Matt can play the CPU.
 
Still no communication from Arkay. Hopefully he's on sometime tonight, but I have absolutely no clue.
 
I was on for a few hours tonight, no sign of Arkay.

If tonight is indeed the deadline, I would like to get an opportunity to play the CPU. I'd rather not get penalized with the possibility of a sim loss when I made every effort to get in contact with him and got nothing in return.

Ya, this got delayed way too long, Im gone for labor day weekend starting tomorrow and wont be back until Monday night.
 
Pure Apathy, I'm about to head out and tailgate for Rutgers opening game tonight (WOO!), but I should be around tomorrow to play.

I just got off plane and will be able to play after halftime of pitt vs utah.
 
So if my opponent is on autopilot that means I can't play the CPU and have to just wait for everything to simulate? If that is the case why do they even have autopilot? I figured you'd at least get to play the CPU version of the team.

If that is the case and I don't get screwed here we need to situate this for when I'm gone in October. I don't necessarily want to leave a big division game up for simulation while I'm out. Even if it would work in my favor it doesn't necessarily seem fair.

Ok, I should be able to play tomorrow after 5:00 PM CST as long as I don't have any surprise plans pop up on me. Saturday I'll be busy and if we haven't played by Sunday, I can play anytime after 6:00 PM.

You get to play the CPU when they're on autopilot. Autopilot leaves the CPU in control of the team until they return.

If you want to have the game simmed when you're out, you'll have to talk to your opponent and work something out.

Are you sure? Does anyone else have experience on this? I tried to play my game this week and the game wouldn't let me play since my opponent is on autopilot. I'll get on and check again, but I could get to the play game screen and nothing was happening.
 
Just checked again and I can't play my game. So unless there is a glitch having an opponent on autopilot doesn't let you play the CPU.

It sounds stupid, but I was reading and it sounds like autopilot is basically just a way of saying you can't play, but it doesn't really do anything different than the commissioner advancing whether people have played their games or not.

So either my opponent gets dropped for a week so I can play the CPU and it can be simmed and who knows who will win. I wouldn't mind if was simmed if it was earlier in the year or if we didn't both make effort to play, but I'm not as thrilled in the current situation. It isn't my call though.
 
I'm sure, as I just tested it by putting Sean on autopilot and it brought up the select team screen when I went to play the game. We've done it a few times last year for people that went out of town, so it's not broken. I made DarkTower80 active and then put him back on autopilot again, so try it again.
 
Okay I'll try again, but unless I'm completely dense I think I have some sort of glitch or something and can't advance past the matchup screen. I'll try to make a video if it doesn't work this time.
 
Okay well I decided to grab a second controller and I can get into the game, but it seems like I can actually control Texas with the second controller. I'm willing to load it up and see, but I don't want it to make Texas player 2 and they'll just be standing around doing nothing. Maybe I could change settings once I'm in the game though.

I think it may be best to just drop the user out for a few hours so I can play the CPU that way.
 
Frisky, just loaded up the game and with two controllers it was letting me control both Texas and Alabama. Can you just drop him so I can play the CPU?
 
Just put myself in autopilot. So whoever im playing go ahead and play the cpu.

I did it though the website. So if it doesnt show on the 360. Please fix it frisky.
 
Frisky, guess I have to wait until tomorrow to get this sorted out. I'll get my game in as soon as you get back with me about what I should be doing though.
 
Sorry didn't check back after I posted, but I'll be around all afternoon and evening today if you want to play. I should get in around 2 EST or so. Just message me on here or Live whenever you think you'll be available.
 
Damn, I hope Boise State or Tennessee gets knocked off by somebody. Looks like it could be CPU teams in the national championship otherwise.

At this point it looks like it'll be me or Nebraska representing the West in the title game (depends on what happens when S3anAmI and I play) against either Rutgers or Ohio State. BigAT, maybe I'll get my shot at a rematch.

S3anAmI, when can you play? I should be available for the most part during the next couple of evenings and I don't have anything lined up for the weekend during the day yet.
