Anyone else having problems registering games now? It says my pins are already registered, which is BS.

Edit: These should all be new codes that I haven't registered before, but then again I MIGHT have registered a bunch of them and forgot. I'll just wait on it.

Don't bother registering stuff you've already registered, the surveys should show up over time. I signed up last night and I had no surveys, but today around 11am I signed in and there they were.

Hopefully everything will be worked out soon. Nintendo just still doesn't know much about the intarwebs.
 
Site is super slow for me right now. Howerever it looks like it is updating with my old registered games, I just need to take surveys for them.

Nohbdy, I used my My Nintendo username to login and transfer my account. If you didn't have a My Nintendo account, you'll have to join to get a Club Nintendo account.
 
People need to get a fucking grip here. This is the launch of Club Nintendo, something people have been bitching about not having for years, and now that it is all over the blogosphere, everyone and their mother (potentially literally!) is trying to get signed up right now, taking surveys, etc. Just wait a few days and shit should be worked out.

I HAD ONE and it still clearly is valid because a password request change went into my e-mail.

Just use your e-mail address. That's what I just did. I just logged on and it had the 2 games that I previously registered in my to-do list. Took a couple of minutes to actually log in.

I think I'm done for now. Got through only two surveys. The third didn't submit properly. I still have more surveys to do, but I'll wait until the site is better prepared to handle the load or at least doesn't have as many people trying to use it all at once.

Did you click on "Join Club Nintendo Now"? You will have to type your DOB and then your e-mail address and it will bring up your account. Once you log in, it will show your used id.
 
Transferred my account 3 times and reset my password twice, and it still won't let me log in. And PLEASE tell me they have better rewards than the ones that you can see from the main page, because those are pretty much trash.

Okay, so after registering at 10:00 AM EST and checking back at 2:15 PM, I now see all of my eligible previously registered games ready for surveys. So no more than a four hour turnaround for me. Nice. Now I have to decide whether to register the other games I have around the house now or wait for the "Intention to Buy" system to get up and running.

I've always kept my inserts, useless as they often are, just because I thought they might make it more attractive for resale. It's not like they take up extra space. The case is the same size with or without them. And I guess this shows there's another reason to hang on to them.
 
I can say one thing that happened to me .. was ... depending on what browser you use .. you get different errors...

Firefox: delogs you on whatever you click on or do.. an endless loop..

I.E. : Works fine .. somewhat .. then you do surveys and it says error .. we cannot find the link your are looking for??? and then magically i have 50 more coins for the survey I did and got an error .. and now it takes 10 min to load anything! :S

Thought I'd just post what I saw..

I don't see all of my games, but the surveys finally popped up for the ones that are already on there. When I go to take the survey I get an error page. I think I just might try in a few days when all the registrations die down.
 
I completed my first survey but it didn't let me complete the second one. I'm at work so I am unable to register my other games.

Has anyone else noticed the potential loophole for extra coins?
 
The survey for Phantom Hourglass just popped up for me, which surprised me a bit since I registered it for the stylus well over a year ago.
 
This is retarded.

Joined this morning, registered one game, went to school.

Came home, tried to log in.

My "Username/password combination is not valid".

Okay, I click "forgot my password" and they e-mail me a link to change it.

I change it, click on "save".

It just clears the password box and doesn't do anything.

Still can't log in.
 
It seems now that I don't have to re-register games on my To-Do list, but Earthworm Jim no longer shows up. But I still have 0 coins.

No loops holes for me .. but what's weird is I did a survey .. got an error .. got 50 coins .. and then it brought me BACK to the survey .. then I did it again and it well .. umm failed and de logged me!

I'm up to 570 coins T_T!!!! I want my platinum!!

EDIT: With tons of hassle I got 600 coins now XD! Platinum status! woo! Now I just need to get 800 coins for that G&W Collection! Does anyone know if you loose your status when you purchase a gift with your coins??? I've been wondering that!

I logged in. It took at least five minutes for it to log me in. Typed in a code, redeemed it, and it logged me out.

fuck you.

Now I can't log in again. Awesome.

No, you don't lose status. It keeps up two different coin count. One is the currency you can purchase, the other is the history of all coins registered for the "year".

Yeah, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 SMS disappeared off the list for me so I'm wondering if they are fixing that now. If they do, that will push me to 690 coins and I still have to register Kirby so that will push me to 720. Still 80 short. :p

to everyone who is using firefox for club nintendo, dont. for some reason its not liking firefox. i went through explorer and it doesnt do that thing where it doesnt remember my password, etc. because even if u try to reset ur pw in firefox, it doesnt work.

dont use firefox for now for club nintendo
 
Don't use Firefox and just use Explorer for now. Nothing works in Firefox for Club Nintendo, not even the password reset, so if you are one of the people having this issue, close out Firefox for now and use Explorer for Club Nintendo until they fix the issue. Happy coin redeeming!

Anyway, Club Nintendo is a big pile of steaming....well....it doesn't work. Won;t log me in most of the time and when I am eventually able to log in it states that my name is

That's right, I don;t exist. Anyway, no go on ANY codes either as the site keeps failing. I;ve entered the code about a dozen times. Copy, paste, past, paste, paste. No worky!!!

Anyway, done now with the venting. Post in the thread if anyone can get it working NOW. I;m sick of pi**ing in the wind and I am not a patient man.

Oh, and let me add!! A great group o helpful people at this site as well a great layout!!!

The only issue I have is transferring my My Nintendo account to Club Nintendo. It won't recognize the e-mail address as the same one as the My Nintendo account when I register. Anyone know how to fix that issue? Even if I ask to send the password, it doesn't e-mail it. =p
 
I'm making my first attempt using IE right now, and it's hanging on the login. I was in with Firefox, and my To Do list no longer said that I had nothing to do -- instead it was blank, and I had a message on the left telling me I had a message waiting from Nintendo. Clicking on that brings me to...Whoops! Looks like you followed an invalid link!
 
I am on the phone with Nintendo and was able yo get a different answer then "It's a new site, just wait a few days."

Now I have the answer "I've never seen this problem before."

edit - No help from Club Nintendo. Guess I am screwed.....oh well...just another gimmick I guess.

The site is just borked right now. If you are getting the message that your username/password is incorrect, DON'T request a new password, just try again. It will tell you that your username/password is incorrect half of the time you try to log in. The server just can't handle all the requests right now and it is going nuts.
 
I managed to bully my way to 430 points in the early afternoon, but it's been hosed since. I just want my damn Platinum status and G&W Collection. Then I will refrain from registering anything until July 1. Unless the SNES CC comes up for order.

Calling Nintendo is like pissing into the wind. They are of NO help. I MAY get a call back. He was not sure though. Sounds like the typical customer service, clueless as always. Oh well, seemed like a gimmick to me.
