GGT 104 bought MK today and will trade it towards some other shitty game tomorrow

LA Noire looks like the next overrated game from Rockstar that people will lap up because it's just like a movie that plays like a bad game.

This could be an issue. Although if the game ends up being very light on combat, then I could see it being awesome.

Every game Rockstar releases is over-rated

But see, that's the problem. The game is going to have combat, and people are already realizing that "yeah, I hope there's not much of it because it looks terrible." If a key mechanic of the game is fundamentally broken, I don't see how the game can be very good.
I saw a early video and knew the online wasn't good. Soon as I saw it was set up like mk vs dc. I thought oh shit its gonna suck. Just how bad is the online? Are we talking kofxii before or after that patch?
I don't know, I've never played KoFXII.

I can say one thing, though...

I'm looking for an instant match.

It's been 9 minutes now. Things are not looking better for the online today.

Yeah, and that's why I'm hoping the game is playable without the need for much combat (or any combat possibly). But I doubt that will be the case. Either way, I don't think RDR's combat was bad. It was just okay, so if LA Noire's combat is like that, it won't ruin the game for me.

The quickmatches are shit. Still waiting for an opponent, I'm not waiting anymore. I'll just go join a goddamn fight lobby and fight.

Wow, all these people have a perfect connection, must mean it won't be laggy right?

Edit: Okay, still laggy but not unplayable. It's just enough to piss me off.

Now after I receive his PM I feel the need to share this with the rest of the community and in turn he block me from the blog. Well guess what not only will 4chan bring it's wrath down upon you Chacrana I've posted this blog so you can't delete my post. Have a nice life douch as I too like to get rises out of people.

I only played a few games against one person in tag team yesterday but it really wasn't laggy at all.

Maybe I just got lucky with that one person.

Straight up connecting to people in lobbies don't end up being as laggy, but they still end up with lag. It's most noticeable for me on how long it takes for my character to jump when I press Up.

sounds like matchmaking in Gears 2 at launch. That shit took forever.

Stupid UPS still isn't here. They normally drop off around 10:30 AM at my place. :whistle2:(

Reminds me of when I was set to get my new TV, they didn't show up till like 6 o'clock. BASTARDS!

Ahahahaha:

So... you're saying it was secretly developed by Ninja Theory?

Anyone play it with a fight stick yet? What config are you using on the 8 buttons?

The port thing should probably have been expected as soon as they found out you could play Co-op between PS3 and PC.
lol Portal 2, peeps be so mad. ^__^

Dudes getting so upset over a game, it's not like somebody hit your dog with their car or something.
lol, speaking of that, was Chac's blog suspended or something? I'm not allowed to go to it.

Yeah, something like that.

Shit was hilarious. You missed out.
I never had a problem matchmaking in Gear 2.
I had a lot of problems the first 2 or 3 months, but they did a patch and it was better after that.

Still a lot slower than games like Call of Duty or Halo though.

Well, I posted on it last night. That was the last thing I saw.

You must not have played at launch. The early server matchmaking was pretty horrible. At best you'd get into a game and one of your party members would be dropped.

At worst, it would sit spinning and never join a match. You would then have to cancel out, reform up, and try again.

It was quite bad, and they mentioned this as part of one of their recent 20x exp weekends for gears2. It was actually a test of the new gears3 backend (some servers were patched up gears2, some where a new gears3 method.) My time with the gears3beta has been nothing but solid. Not sure if it'll hold up on a Day 1 rush of the servers, but it's holding up for now.

They did a really nice job on the Collector's Edition MK guide - nice quality cheat sheet cards for every character with all of the basics, specials, combos, tag combos and fatalities on them.

Okay, now that I know that the game isn't actually 4 hours long, I'm going to say they have nothing to complain about. Who the fuck is to say what is and isn't a console port? Did they develop the game? And aesthetic bullshit is barely DLC. As for the ARG not "causing" anything, who gives a shit? ILoveBees didn't give you a mega-super copy of Halo. It was just for fun, and to help get people excited for the game. I tend to enjoy ARG marketing. Anyone who was just trudging through it just to get the game early, or to get additional content, should have been involved anyway.
I will only give a rage pass for those who bought the indie bundle you needed for the ARG that produced nothing.
I don't, it isn't like they got nothing, they got a bunch of really good indie games... why the hell are they complaining? (And who would buy it just for the ARG?)

Yeah, if someone is mad that they bought a bunch of great indie games for a great price, and only got Portal 2 a few hours early, then they need to take a step back and think about what they are saying. And as far as the game length/amount of content, according to Shipwreck's review, the single player campaign took him 9 hours and the co-op appears to be about 7 hours. Additionally, this is supposedly a total 16 hours of pure awesomeness, which to me is better than 10 hours of awesomeness and 20 hours of fluff, which is what a ton of games tend to do these days.

This. They also got Portal 2 a few hours EARLY. God damn gamers are a bunch of entitled idiots.

Yeah, seriously. Most retail-priced FPS's max out at like 6 hours of content, and manage to get a "Get Out of Hate" free card for having multiplayer. Why judge portal on a different standard?

Man I love that that one guy made a blog about my blog. Cuz how do you incite rage over a blog? You blog about the blog and have people saying "lololol" in your comments
