Oh, role playing in games? I choose whatever benefits me the most and/or is the most fun sounding. ^__^
Best example was going to the slave camp in Fallout 3. They wouldn't let me in, so I shot my way in, killed every slaver there. Brutal slaughter, totally unprovoked, but I got positive karma for feeding my bloodlust. lol Awesome. Love it when games say "Killing a bad guy = good!!" even though you're just killing those whose ideals differ from yours. Maybe they have ill intentions, but does that justify wholesale manslaughter?
Dat morality, yo.
Easy solution to to this problem. Name your character in DA Grey Warden, in DA 2 The Champion, in ME make the first name Commander. In Kotor, name that mother

er Raven.
Or play a game like Uncharted where you share the same name as the main character. Oh yeah, Chloe, say my name again.
I named my character in KOTOR Sith Lord Revan. ^__^ I knew that plot twist before I even played the game.
And yes, Nater Tot, she does say your name a lot. Rawr.
