It requires you beating the game and the challenge of olympus challenges..Not sure if it's a must but I believe you have to beat it on titan to be able to do this..

BUT... it saved me a looot of work.. I had forgotten to pickup Helios' Shield but got everything else.. thought I was going to have to go back and pick each one up.. NOPE It remembers all of the ones you already earned and you keep those too.. I don't think is a glitch at all. This was known before they brought out a patch.

I was warned by another guy who knows not to try and go out of sequence.. like using the cestus on the judges .. some had the game lockup..

But after I get AMAZED .... I'm putting my Dominus skin on.. with all Godly Possessions, Weapons fully maxed and fuck that game up haha:applause:
 
Off topic, but is this site going really slow for anyone else? Takes me around 1 minute just to get to the site, and another minute to open a thread. Its been happening for 2-3 days now.
 
Hmm seems like the site is going pretty nice now. But wow learned about a "glitch". This is what you do.

- Go into Combat Arena, and set it to titan difficulty.
- Die 5 times and when it asks you if you want to try easy mode say no.
- This should bring you to the main menu, and you can start a new game with all weapons, fully upgraded.

This even works after you choose no, and start a new game on chaos mode, i just tried it and i have all my weapons. You can also set health to infinite...and have gorgons freeze you while you are in the air during the combat arena to kill you, so you will have infinite health during the new game. Im doing this right now in chaos mode. LOL

Yea scroll up I just said that haha Well I didn't put it on blast but yea..

I just PLATINUMED the game.. add me to the list haha

And yea your health and magic and all is maxed until you go through the river of styx then it's taken back down.. as well as your blades power.. you still have to build them up after that.. I just played the entire game through today to get my last trophy ..Amazed... after doing this trick..

You have to build up your...

1.Blades
2.Magic
3.Gold bar
4.Health

Everything else stays maxed.. all the weapons you acquire throughout the game. And you keep all Godly Possessions you found originally, it also automatically gives you the "Maxed out trophy" if you didn't have it before
 
Ohh i didnt see it.

Weird, i was at the part with the apollo bow, and i got on the cerberus, and it would only move one way, or the opposite of that. I managed to get it over by apollo, and burned the bramble but he never died. He was still wiggling around in his chair after i got the bow. Not that i needed to get it though. LOL

Wow my game froze for the first time since i got it. Right at the
three kings part. I blasted their heads with the lion gloves to see what would happen. When i went down to finish it off, i grabbed a chest with a horn in, and it froze.

WOW WOW loaded the auto save and it froze when trying to load it! Guess this save is fucked, froze for the 2nd time trying to load it.

Guess you cant do it, keeps freezing on me. oh well.

Just got my Platinum about an hour ago :D Titan mode was hard, but it wasn't as insane as some people make it out to be. Just block and dodge and you'll be fine. Now to wait forever for the eventual DLC :D
 
I was finally able to register my GS code with a bogus account, but haven't got an e-mail yet. About how long has it taken you guys to receive after entering a skin code?

Welcome to the elite club haha and yea not as hard as some said.. Tons of videos on Youtube of peoples walkthroughs on Chaos mode.. I wonder if it does anything or gives you anything.. I know no trophies but damn seems like they'd give something for that accomplishment

Beat it on chaos last night thanks to the glitch. Only thing left is 2 of the challenges of exile. Which are pretty hard. :( (hades kids 2, and switch weapons every 30 sec.)

Its kind of dumb they dont allow you to use your extra skins in the combat arena. I thought that place was like a "playground", and not really anything important that shouldnt allow you to wear them.

So do you get anything different for beating Chaos mode? No link no nothing? If not it's pointless to me other than bragging rights

Hey! I beat it last night too (Technically this morning since it was 12:30 AM). I was playing without the glitch on chaos mode and got to the music sisters. Then I heard about the glitch and did that. I figured it'd save me time since I had to restart a ton of battles and it would've taken forever to finish.

No extra modes or anything unlocked. I did it so I could use the godly possessions and costumes on that mode.
 
If anyone is willing to trade shares of the Ultimate Edition content, Id be more than willing to offer some shares of Ratchet and Clank, Cuboid, and PJ Eden
 
To get the trophies for finding the eyes,feathers,and horns do you have to find them all in one playthrough? or can you find some and then start a new game on a different difficulty and find the rest?
 
In my trophy list there is a "???" at the top of my list and at the bottom of the list. I have beaten the game meaning I am not too sure what they could be. I figure the bottom one is the Plat.. And please put them in spoilers just for folks that have yet to beat it.

You have to find all of at least one of them per playthrough to get their respective trophies. Im almost positive, anyways.

Just started playing this evening. Liking it thus far. One fault I do have with the game is the cinematic quick-time events. The prompts are in the oddest places and always seem to take your eyes of the action.

Yeah have other games done this before? I mean its a perfect idea. No need to look, just know to hit that button, so you dont miss the action.

There are a few games where the QTE pissed me off as I looked away and basically missed what was happening.

I have to say I was not a fan of the GOW2 (maybe it did the QTE in the same way, I tried it a long time ago). I didnt hate the game, but it felt just ok and it didnt jive with me then.

I downloaded the demo off GOW3 last night and am pumped. It was pretty good. So I will be at least renting this game. I am not one to beat a game multiple times, as I have too little time to game. But at the 8-10 hours, sounds like a perfect rental for me on a non busy week.

I want to join the Plat club so bad... I finally beat Hades on Titan mode (the bow works wonder, but man, it was still tough as hell). After Hades, Hermes was a piece of cake (the Tunnelers were harder than him). Hercules was some challenge, since I sort of "mastered" the Bare Hand, you can basically grab and charge to kill Hercules without even getting hurt.

I think i'm going to have a hard time with the Labyrinth... and eventually the Gaia's heart battle. Looks like i'll join the Plat club by the end of the week.

Wow, that definitely speed things up... Well, anyway, i have most of the trophies unlocked on EASY. Hmmm, the glitch is too cheesy. For people have the UE, there's a code to unlock the Arena right? I haven't open my UE yet... So, technically, people don't have to beat the game on Titan mode to activate the glitch. Is the glitch patched up? I know there was a patch on Saturday, I thought it was some fixes to wireless controller, since they said people were having problems opening gates/chests etc.

The UE doesn't come with Arenas like it says. It comes with a challenge pack, like the Challenge of Olympus. It is the Challenge of Exile, and damn its a bitch. I just wish it had a trophy!

The Arena is unlocked when you beat the Challenge of Olympus, or the game- I forget.

I heard about that, but what the hell exactly is it? Is it a place where people go the 1000 hit trophy? I got my 1000 hits after beating Hades. The first tutorial tells you about summoning souls using the claw (just spam L1 and O, play on EASY, since you can die on Titan when you reach 800 something hits). By the time you reach 1008, all of the enemies are dead.

Oh I see, thanks for the explanation... It would be cool if there are additional trophies :) Ah, so in order to use the glitch, you have to beat the game on Titan mode and finish the challenges. Well, then the glitch probably useless for trophies, since by then you probably have all of them already (AMAZED can be gotten from EASY mode, using the AUTOSAVE loads if you died). And if you played Titan mode, just die FIVE times to switch to EASY after loading the game.

I don't know where the Labyrinth saving spot is for AMAZED trophy... I didn't do a good save on EASY. I'm almost there again on Titan mode. Can somebody tell me where the AMAZED trophy starts? I know it ends when you reach the top of the big ass

When the cube forms and you go in the side... that is the start (it says The Labyrinth on screen). It would be best to save just prior to that, so you can die and get offered easy (this is what I did after I beat it on Titan). If you die to get easy on your current save, make sure you go through again on Titan or you will have screwed yourself. Best to go back after you beat it, imo, to avoid a mess up.

Thanks Saint Noir, i'll remember this.... I didn't really play for trophies in my first run. The game gets pretty intense as the mystery of
Pandora
reveals. I actually screwed up my saves too :lol: (i usually rotate the three saves). Shamelessly to say, ahem, i used two saves at
Aphrodite's Chamber

Jumping glitch is where you jump over a pit, and in place of a double jump, you fall to your death. I'd say it has more to do with where you started your jump more than anything.

So I beat the game on Titan and have to do some of the trophies, like aMAZEd and Hitman. Is it feasible to go through another game on easy to get Hitman? That's the only one I think would be harder to get on a lower difficulty. The others I'm missing involve the dogs, setting people on fire, etc, nothing too bad. Can anyone tell me what the best plan is to get the rest of my achievements without much trouble?

if hitman is the
1000 hit one you can do that one and the dog one in the same area( posiedons palace) theres a bit where these dogs keep respawning indefinelty that works well for either.

cdietschrun scroll back.. there's a trick you can do after you beat titan to start over with maxed weapons from the start.. makes the game super easy! Amazed was done in a breeze with that..

Hitman is easiest right there at the pit of tartarus when you go through the huge puzzle wall that turns into a door.. and you go in and save on the right first.. then a shitload of skeletons rush you and you use Hades claws and just repeat over and over .. it gets you the 1000 hit combo and then some.. but it will back you up as you do it so after a few be sure to walk up a little bit.. but not too close so you don't grab them

Again with the trick of starting out with weapons maxed on easy.. you can easily get the catch enemies on fire trophy too .. if you need some help lemme know or pm me.. I've played it through 3 times now and Platinumed it
