HEROES - super thread...
It was decent. Disappointed on how little it covered. One person died, not saying who.
No one died. There was the potential for a lot of people to die, but at the end everyone was either captured or exiled.

Wait, who?

Did we not see the same episode?

I just assumed that after the Haitian shot him, he's dead. Because the episode ended there...

Naes: iIt seemed to me that they were
faking Bennet's death and wiping his memory of Claire
.

Next week looks good:
I want to know just how Simone didn't die, and we finally get to see the mysterious Mr. Linderman.

Then, wouldn't they have wiped his memory before the episode ended?

Maybe you canucks got something different, but Bennett told the Haitan to shot him in a certain spot so he wouldn't die. I took that to mean that Bennett wanted it to look like the Haitian took Claire and ran off. Then the H man wiped his memory of anything that could help the baddies find them

WTF?

This sucks. I'm going to have to rewatch the episode then. I either missed it or there was a problem with my satellite.

What an insane episode. Its odd that Mr. Bennet is connected to Hiro's father. I wonder if they'll elaborate more on that or if it was just a one time thing. I wonder if that chick is going to save Parkman. Is it the same one from last week's episode?

Also, next week looks a bit interesting, with Simone coming back to life (I wonder if she has a power, or if Peter was able to revive her with his; though she seemed almost evil). And Ando is with Hiro, I thought they split and went their seperate ways last week. And Nathan has a confrontaion with Niki, I wonder if this is part of her trying to kill him.

Good episode tonight, though not too many questions were really answered, other than
How Mr. Bennet and Claude knew each other. And the way Claude "died" has a lot to do with him teaching Peter.

Alright I thought that blew, the first 20 mins were great. I was thinking awesome after advertising it forever we were finally gonna find something out, then the episode went out the window and started sucking.

I dont know how you missed that, thats what her storyline as well as the Hatians is gonna be based on for the rest of the season.
Hey, wasn't
Hana there at the house at the end of last weeks episode?
No, she wasn't, IIRC. Tonight's episode was sloooooow. Sure, we found out a few more connections and saw how the heroes lives intertwine more, but only a few key events happened.

Was I imagining this, or is Heroes going on another short break within one or two episodes? I remember reading it online, but I don't remember where.

Well, tv shows usually show 22 eps a season, sometimes 1 or two more. Tv shows also usually end in May (May sweeps). Since tonights ep was #17, there are only 5 or so left and there are 9 mondays? until May even starts.

So yea, its gonna take a break sometime.

Bingo. :applause: Unless of course theres a Canadian version of Heroes, in which case my favorite one is The Mountie.

And I believe last week the promo that aired said the next 2 episodes would have a huge impact, so I'm guessing the break would be after next weeks episode.

Well, I downloaded the episode and watched it. Needless to say, I saw what happened. I guess I missed that part somehow
spoiler:bullshit, skins melts off but clothes stays on
That's exactly what I was thinking.

It was a fairly cool episode, I thought. Next week seems like it's going to be awesome.
Can anyone tell me why the Haitian just didn't mind erase the head honcho guy instead of the whole shoot Bennett ploy?
I believe that the Haitian did mind erase Claire's dad right after he wounded him in the side to clear up any suspicions that he might be helping to hide Claire. That was right at the end of the episode.

I meant the other guy. Bennett's boss who saw Claire's power and wanted her brought in. Haitian could have just erased him right there?

My guess is that the boss has powers.

Isn't he the Haitian's boss, too?

I would imagine him and bennett had a plan of the hatian protecting claire before they went back to the house, and therefore the hatian would have to go on the run anyway, so it would have been moot for him to mind erase eric roberts anyways...

awsome episode the past 2 have been really great episodes

as for hana no she wasn't in the room with them...and the comic they publish online allegedly shows why she wasn't there

based off of the hereo's podcast that i listen to, the comic had hanna using her internet abilities to find mr bennett, and she did track them, but was sidetracked with her picking up video feed of the corporation(whoever bennet works for) examing a young supernatural child...she decided to work on that rather then go after bennett...it was something along those lines, i listened to the podcast last week
Hey, wasn't

I am pretty sure that she was, as I remember her being near the door. But I will check out the end of the episode on my DVR and get back to you guys.

Just watched it. Pretty sick episode. For such a seemingly characterless ep. we sure learned a lot.

linderman has been confirmed to be played by
Malcolm McDowell

great choice imo:bouncy:

per http://www.tvguide.com/News-Views/Columnists/Ask-Ausiello/default.aspx

and also on one of the hereos podcast i listen in on

future episode spoilers...also per the same tv guide article, and I had heard it on the same podcast several days earlier...about episode 20

Question: Monday's Heroes rocked! Do you have any new scoop for us?— Kelly
Ausiello: Best episode of the season — and that says a lot, considering I'm not exactly Claire's biggest cheerleader. On the scoop front, AAdict Damon wrote in to tell me that Jack Coleman, during an interview with an L.A. radio station on Monday, revealed that Episode 20 will be set five years into the future. What he didn't say is that (Spoiler alert) Hiro and Ando would be the ones making the trek.

Didn't we have some verification way earlier on that
Hiro would make a guest apperance on Scrubs? Anyone else kinda wondering where that is?

He's already been on there before, probably not as Hiro though.

Mabye he will be on there during the little bit of time off that the cast gets or during sweeps.

Yes, as Franklyn, however, as can be seen Here. But from Here, it says that Hiro will be on Scrubs with his powers, and I've been waiting since that newsbreak for it to happen.

Ahh, awesome. I wonder if it will be around the time of the 5 years in the future episode. Or if it will just be pretty random and he'll be some sort of mental patient who thinks he can bend time and space.

Though, why would they cross-promote it, I know they are both on NBC, but Scrubs is produce by an ABC company.

Either way, I would love to see it as well.

Well, I guess I should have read the article,

Holy shit man the most recent episode with the whole story of the Benet family. Ohhhhhhhh God. One of the best episodes of any show I've seen in a while.

Wow, great episode. Mohinder figured out that he was actually working with Sylar. Claire went looking for Peter Petrelli. Ando returns and Hiro was able to steal the sword. And I LOLed when Nathan knocked Niki out. Awesome ending where Sylar has Mohinder on the ceiling and Peter comes in and Sylar starts to cut his head. Can't wait for next weeks episode!

GODDAMN, Canada got it a day early again?

Hmm, off to the torrents.

Which site has it up already?
Wow that was an awesome episode. It still makes me curious as to how it's all going to be wrapped up in 5 episodes.
These spoiler warnings don't really do much when I assume it can't be about anything that hasn't already aired. Except when it's about something like this :(

Aye, 'tis torrent time.

If you read other posts, you'd find out that Canada gets it aired either 2 hours early or 1 day early

I just found it through Isohunt.

I had no idea that Canada would do it early again. I only found out from reading the spoiler tags and the subsequently downloading it this morning.

Great episode, but not what I was expecting. Glad to see Ando return and Hiro finally get his sword. But I have to wonder, are Hiro and Ando not going to be on the show again until the beginning of May, since from what I've read, they travel 5 years in the future in one of the last episodes (maybe thats where they went to).

Also, it would be almost pointless for Sylar to kill Peter, as then who would even be able to match him power wise?

Did anyone else find it weird that Peter didn't go invisible when he entered Mohinder's apartment? I mean if I go into a place as trashed as that, I'd atleast want to not be able to be seen. I bet Claude ends up saving the day some how, if at the expense of his own life.

Also, did anyone else kind of like that wig on Claire when she was in the White House (assuming) with Nathan (assuming thats going to be the episode where Hiro and Ando travel into the future)?

Also, I think that we may have 4 Heroes and 1 Villian carry over to next season. I think Hiro, Peter, and Claire, along with Mohinder (some how, since he is the lead researcher) will be there with Sylar. That is saying that I think they will have prominent roles next season, with some other characters showing up on occassion, since from all sources it appears that each year could be a different crop of Heroes.
