HEROES - super thread...
Dude, seriously, can this show be stopped? It leaves everything else in a pile of ashes on the floor.
My guess is no, but I am sure 24 loves their little hiatus until the end of April.

Also, I hope they actually show repeats while this is on break. I'd love to get a marathon from episode 1-18, even if it was on SciFi over the course of a weekend or even a few weeks, just so everyone that hasn't seen this can get caught up and that way I can show it off to people that watch 24 or whatever else is on at 9 on Mondays.

Wait wait, what wig on Claire when she's in the white house? Did I miss something?
Its in the previews, at first glance, it looked like a new hero, but when I slowed it down, it was Claire in a wig.

And the White House bit, was just speculation, but the room she was in looked like the Oval Office.

The next episode will apparently take place 5 years in the future. Claire, having grownz all upz and all, will be a brunette. And she'll be legal, too! YAY!

Oh, and I can't believe no one has mentioned this yet. Remember how Peter is supposed to have a scar in the future (as per future Hiro's message)? Well, anyone else think he got it from Silar in tonight's episode?

Thats kind of what I was thinking, with Peter. Though I was also thinking, that maybe Hiro or someone else slashes him as he is about to go nuclear and it calms him and releases the energy safely.

Also, the preview may be on the nbc website under Heroes. Not sure how quickly they have it up there.

Edit: And thats all my conspiracy theories for tonight, Adult Swim and sleep time. More to come tomorrow.

Jack of all trades; Master of none. I don't think he can heal all the way.

wow so i clicked on the spiderman 3 7 1/2 minute thing when it was on Heroes

fast forward to now 12:53 , probably 3 hours later - and the quicktime movie just popped up. I forgot all about it.

Haha, it took me an entire episode of Law and Order, so I guess an hour. The video's pretty good, though.

crazy episode tonight.

so we all know that peter will get away somehow. its going to suck waiting for damn near 2 months to find out how.

what i thought was interested is when nathan and peters mom showed up with the haitian to talk with claire. i want to know what role she plays in everything. you have to assume its quite a bit, and that she has a power as well

Which painting?

The one Isaac did after he shot up? I THOUGHT it was him, because when Hiro went into the future (the first time) he got to Isaac's place right after Syler did him in, then Peter, "da bomb" went off.

That is the one. I thought it might've been him as well, but it looked like in the paintings he had different facial hair.
And has Peter even been in contact with Ted?
No, as far as I know, the only possibility of contact would've been his threat to go to Texas where Ted was.

Slightly on the same note, when Peter was doing his power burst and got knocked out by Invisi-dude, I could've sworn I heard electronic noises which would've been Hana. So I'm curious as to when he met her.

Electronic noises? Didn't something like that happen with Parkman and Peter when they were together after SAVING THE CHEERLEADER? (omg save her save the wurld lol)

How could they even have a PS3 to play Heavenly Sword on? The election hasn't taken place yet since Nathan said he was down four points. Midterm elections are in the first week in November, so the PS3 shouldn't have been released yet in the Heroes universe.

The power of Product Placement.

Or someone created a time machine and threw one of the excess PS3's into the past.

No...Obviously Linderman is so powerful, he can get PS3's before they're even available. Or obviously Micah did it, since he did appear to steal Forge's power of making shit.

as for peters powers
there has been a lot of speculation that he has all the powers, and that the only reason why he would use certain powers around certain people was because he wasn't in control of them, and being around xxx person with a power would bring his power to the forefront

So that would mean he has absolutely every power? As in he could project illusions without ever having being near that one girl and super hearing without being near the mechanic?

that what the speculations have been on the hereos podcast i listen too...they talked about it awhile ago as he has shown certain powers before coming in contact with people that had those powers

That would make sense as to how it sounded like he emulated Hana's powers without meeting her, as well how he could explode without actually meeting Ted.

However, he would be wayyy too powerful if that were true. And the buildup of power never would've happened if that were true as he would have already had all the powers.

evanft beat me to the punch posting, but that was the first thing that I thought of was that Hiro's commentary on Peter's appearance had been fulfilled.

i don't remeber everything, as it was a couple weeks back on the podcast that they talked about it
but if peter had all the powers, and couldn't control them, he would explode...claude made some comments about peter being something and he needed to control 1 power at a time and put the rest away...he hadn't exploded yet as he hadn't really developed his powers yet, which is why for example, when he was around nathan he could fly...one of the theories besides the hana point was peters future premonition dreams...he hasn't been around anyone that has that abiltiy...one thing that would contradict that is if simone father had the premonition ability

I am pretty sure Simone's father had the premonition ability. Either that, or since Peter spent so much time with him, Isaac and Simone were bound to be on the roof at some point while Peter was there and thats how had originally "learned" it.

Does the podcast you're refering to have a back log of casts? And whats the site for the Podcast?

you should be able to get the older episodes via itunes...the 2 podcasts that i listen to that have hereo's talk on it is

http://www.thetenthwonder.com/

the other is tvguides weekly podcast...

As it was a couple weeks ago (early/mid febuary) where they had those discussions on peter, I don't remember which one it was from, but I would imagine it was the 10th wonder podcast...they are on a minibreak as one of the 2 hosts is off shooting some documentary with John Schneider. This weeks podcast is set to be up and available on either sunday or monday morning...

the show is ok, the best i found discussing hereos...they do a breakdown of the show, and then discuss several key things from it...the last 15 min or so they have a spoiler section that they warn you about...in there they talk about there guesses, about the comic, and the trailers for usa and international release as well as any news they could come across

They get more vague as it gets late, so anyway. Hope it finishes with a bang.

Bah, no way in hell am I reading any of those, but I advise all of you who are following the show to go read the comics at NBC. Do it, NOW!
Yea, new episode tonight. I'm confused as hell with all of the breaks they've taken. So can't wait for the dvd.
there was a marathon on saturday night, i watched it because my gf missed the last episode before the break, so we watched the last 3.
Looks like Linderman has powerz too. And might have been using them for good until people turned on him?
it's in the comics
He's a healer, so when he said that if nathan shot him, he'd have to make sure he's dead, or something to that affect, it meant he could heal himself back. And Linderman and Petrelli's father were in the war together so that's how they're connected.
