The bounts were alright for a bit, but the last two episodes or so have been awful.

Okay...I sorta remembered them finding out in the manga, but couldn't completely remember. Still, the changing of order things going on in the filler is kinda annoying.

I don't know what you're talking about. 78 wasn't the best, but it was a sorta necessary step in this arc. And 79 was one of my favorite episodes of this arc so far. I just wish there had been a bit more to Yoshino vs Jin.
 
It seems a rouge AonE employee decided to delete shit off their FTP after being fired, so any chance of getting newer stuff from them is gone for now. :whistle2:( Why the hell do people have to pull these stupid stunts?

Pretty sure after the ending it said it wasn't going to follow it, not sure though.

That would be Kashimashi Girl Meets Girl. It's about this guy that gets hit by a runaway alien spaceship (yes, a runaway alien spaceship) while he's out picking flowers (he's a bit on the flamboyantly gay but still straight side). The aliens feel bad about killing him so they resurrect him... only they're not that good with human physiology so they turn him into a girl. So he starts to live his life as a girl and lo and behold, all the girls that liked him as a boy also like him as a girl and start to question their own sexuality. Hijinks ensue. And no, I'm not kidding about that synopsis.

I've heard of it before too, but evertyime I see a synopsis for it I always think it sounds like it is a pitch for a new, real cheesy sitcom on the WB or something... That clip just made it seem even cheesier too.

The story is weird. It tries to be shounen-ai for the shoujo set. I suppose with the gender-bending, confusion is about the only thing you can expect. Even still, the story is quite bland. You'd think it'd be quite interesting but it's like soda that's been left out of the bottle for 2 days - flat. The main guy (or girl depending on your view) is this ultra-demure fem-guy. Upon first sight, you'd think he was already a girl. Then the girls who like him are rightly confused yet the story goes nowhere. I gave up after 5 episodes.
 
I watched Kashimashi all the way through and was impressed with the story. There are a few typical comedic moments with Hazumu still getting used to being a girl, but it's the love triangle that was interesting to me. It really picks up steam in the last few episodes as things really get intense and I thought the payoff was worth it.

I've been going and buying mostly seasons, movies or complete collections of older animes, and I'd like to find out about some of the older stuff that may have slipped through the cracks.

I'm surprised no one's posted about this yet, but Haruhi 8 is out now! It was a damn good episode. Though one thing about the preview has me wondering...I heard it was only slated for 13 episodes...Yet Haruhi says the next episode is 14 in the preview. Which makes me wonder if they decided to do a full season with all of the popularity Haruhi seems to be gaining.

Question: Just now getting back into Bleach after taking a break. I notice that Lunar has stopped.

The most popular alternative appears to be DB, with Bleach Society behind them.

I was just looking for a recommendation for who to go with now, since I like to be as consistent as possible.

Dattebayo. They're much, much faster. Eps are subbed within a day of the raw 99% of the time. Also, in my opinion the quality is better than Bleach Societies.
 
Naruto 308 is out

they have made sasuke toooooooo rediculous, with his EMP Chidori and chidori sword. Plus he took out Yamato so easily and somehow he enters Naruto's Kyubi v Naruto inner conflict. I know they wanted to set him up as bad ass and everything but this seems a lil much
