I don't quite agree, Orochimaru is a huge villain and he has also overstayed his welcome, his goals have been noticeably been toned down to just disrupting Akatsuki , thats all good and fine but storywise unless he is going to stop Naruto from being gutted down the line just to screw with the group I think I would rather see him killed off in this way.

I completely agree about Kabuto, unless he is going to break out some moves we have never seen either he joins Sasuke in killing Oro, or he smacks the hell out fo Sasuke showing he isn't invincible like he is really starting to be protrayed. Still pretty badass Orochimaru blocked a lightning sword even as sick as he was.

Yea that makes sense I guess, I'm just guessing that if they do kill off Oro right now, I'm considering who the next Main Villain will be. Seeing as how this story is probably going to try some more unexpected twists, I'm leaving the next main baddy to be either: Sasuke, Itachi, Kabuto, or some other Akatsuki dude >.>
I haven't been following the manga very well, so I'm not up to date on all the characters.

In the manga Ishida get's
some tizzzzzzzight arrows to go with his new powers. Its like a sword that he can use for hand to hand combat. Can't wait to see it in the anime :)

This'll be a great fight for sure, but I just don't see Sasuke winning and I think that Orochimaru will continue to be the villain for some time.

That was my view from the beginning, b/c why would Orochimaru train Sasuke to be stronger than him and then try to take over his body. It just doesn't make any sense, and I also wonder about Kabuto's motives, why does he keep following Orochimaru? I don't see any reason for him to do that anymore.

I've got all of the English Dragon Ball DVD's from Funimation, but they need to get their legal ass in gear and get the rights to the first 13 episodes to release on DVD. I've got the first two volumes of the manga, which is alright. Goku's not a mountain boy in those, as he speaks like he's from da hood.

Is there a difference between Funimation's releases and the original "Saga of Goku" boxset?

Done by two completely different companies. The boxset is the old version while Funi's is the newer version that aired in 2000.

It's good that they stuck all that filler in Bleach so people wouldn't notice it's repeating the Soul Society arc.

Bleach is awesome, although I'd say the first arc was my favorite by far. THAT was original, I still love it all, even though the animation suffered during the fillers (Although the OP's didn't :whistle2:s)
 
This week's Naruto was really good. I didn't see
how Naruto and Sakura would win against Kakashi, by spoiling the ending of Make Out Tactics. :rofl:

It's the anime and it's the original. I never liked Z or GT.

Well yeah if you ignore the fact that Ichigo took a huge strength decrease from where he was in Soul Society , his Bankai being so easily beaten was a tough pill to swallow.

Okay its been alluded to before that Orochimaru's body transfer had at least something big to do with a snake but his true form being a hundred compressed snakes with a head?! I almost want to say the manga just jumped the shark. I don't even know what to make of this one, as it stands Snake Orochimaru can't even do handseals (no hands) so Sasuke is looking at a super easy win .

well i agree, that this came out of nowhere, I kinda see his body transfer jutsu, is just him forcing his way down the throat into the body of a ninja to take pocession. I mean Kakuza was filled with wires, zetsu is somehow a venus fly trap with 2 personalities, and somehow Shino and his whole clan have a whole colony of bugs inside of him that he can somehow do jutsus with. So i dunno about jumping the shark, i mean Oro was always kinda snakey well this explains that well

Bleach is gettin pretty good now, can't wait til they get to the real good stuff :)

I loved that scene between Orihime and Rangiku...for obvious reasons :twisted:, and then there was the tickling which was funny.

The arrancar Ikkaku fights looks fucking awesome!

I haven't watched too much Blood+, but I've liked the first couple of episodes so far, the animation is pretty nice. Plus the movie was ok, so I'm curious on how the series turns out. By your comment I'm guessing the series isn't finished yet in Japan? Guess I'll have to catch up on that one. Btw, what episode is it up to?
 
My Fav is a tie between Goldenboy and FLCL.

They're both awesome, the animation is solid and oh so fluid, the storylines are original, they both have lots of good comedy, and the voices fit perfectly (Kintaro FTW!). Plus they're both 6 episodes long! :D
 
New FMA chapter out.

Armstrong's sister is fucking crazy.
Looks like a good chapter overall, I can't wait for it to get translated.

Kintaro Oe is my hero!

I like short 6 ep shows. You can view it all in one sitting and still have time to do something else. Here is Greenwood is awesome like that also. I think ex-Driver is like that too. I haven't see my DVDs yet though.

A BLACK BRA! :D, Kintaro is the man, specially when HE OPENS UP A CAN OF WHOOP ASS! Man I was on the floor, it was a serious moment and he goes and says that, oh it was awesome :lol:
Another Part I LOVED was the swimming segment where he shows "what he's got" ;), I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard.

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien is also a fav :oops:, it's just a storyline that I won't forget to soon and the ending was pretty bittersweet. I have friend who hates it though because she can't stand the ending :p

Here is Greenwood is a slice of life show about Kazuya Hasukawa and his dorm mates at Greenwood. It is definitely a wacky show. I believe a CAG recommended it (DuelLadyS I think). There is some conflict, some romance, and a whole lot of comedy.

I love the dub on GoldenBoy. I have laughed so hard at Kintaro that I have had tears running down my face.

I'm watching Najica Blitz Tactics from the Rightstuf sale, and damn if that isn't a fun show to watch. Absurd levels of fanservice, but definitely a guy show. Guns, action, women? What more can you ask?
 
Random anime thought... I find it odd that in tonight's epsiode of GitS: Stand Alone Complex, they reference Motoko's change of clothes after the incident as being revealing or something, but it's no more racy than what she wears around the entire rest of series. Wonder if that was somehow edited for TV and DVD or something...
