You're free to explain why. It doesn't do a whole lot of good against the theory otherwise.
They may map fine for the GC, but translating that to the 360.. it's just a no-go. You heard just as many complaints about control schemes for RE4 when they put it on the PS2.
They just don't work. Not anymore. It's been 4 years, controls for this type of game have evolved. Why hasn't RE? They claim to have "Gears-like" controls, but they don't nearly flow together as they should. My biggest complaint, is the camera. You can't even move the camera while moving? Wow.
Even crappy children's games have a fully movable camera while on the go. This more than hampers with the gameplay, as you have to stop. Turn around. Then look behind you to see a "zombie" two inches from your face. Now, to get away, let's stop. Turn back around, and then proceed to run away, only to have to repeat this again probably seconds later. If zombies maybe showed up on the mini-map, I'd say fine, that would be acceptable, but they don't, only "boss characters" do.
The aiming is also slow and unresponsive, I had to set it to fastest, to even barely keep up with the zombies. I also thought they were going to finally make a run-n-gun mechanic. I guess not.
Now, for people talking about realism... this game has ZOMBIES in it. I don't think I need to say anymore about realism.
Overall, the game, judging from the demo, is not anything it promised to be, and isn't even really all that fun, thanks to the few problems it does have. If these problems are fixed, than I'd say it'd probably be the next RE4.
