Rock Band series - Rock Band 4 out now
From what source?

Only thing I'd want off there is AFI and Freezepop. Audioslave is a maybe.
Not sure of the true "source" but I've seen that posted elsewhere. Supposedly the Wii track info generally gets leaked early, and now that the Wii's DLC is all caught up (more or less) that equates to getting mainline DLC info ahead of schedule.
The best thing about Lego games is they end up being $19.99 two months after release.
Given that it took Lego Batman close to a year to drop (came out September of last year), I think you'll be waiting longer than that. I don't think that's going to be the case this time.

And this will mark the end of the Wii getting the DLC the same week as the other two consoles. I can't imagine Harmonix will be too happy about this, and the easiest way to retaliate is to put the Wii back on the old schedule, and skip a week.
I don't really give two shits about the Pearl Jam "project" of theirs.).
Are you on drugs? Maybe you fell and hit your head? Was this a joke post? Everyone knows Pearl Jam is the greatest band ever in the history of the universe - yes, the universe - not just planet Earth - so all those alien bands out there can go have sex with their mothers because they suck too compared to Pearl Jam. Jesus Christ I can't believe I have to spell it out like this for you people.

hahaha... that Pearl Jam thing is basically gonna be like the AC/DC disc right? A track pack of live songs? It will be pretty funny if they put "Alive" on that... pretty sure that'd make it the first song to have three different versions in Rock Band. :D
If any of that's true, Miss Murder is a must. I loved that in GHIII. Also ABC and maybe Kryptonite. Most definitely Paul and Storm:
If this is like last year, the PAX pack will be 240 points and the proceeds will go to Child's Play. If you're even on the fence about it, go for it (and it's worth it for the Coulton song alone, in my eyes).

Damn, it looked like they were going down the list of songs in Unplugged alphabetically, until I noticed Alice in Chains wasn't in there. Oh well, that will probably be soon, and I'll already have a lot of points tied up with the Freezepop pack and possibly that MC Frontalot song.

Do bands that start with a number (i.e. 30 Seconds To Mars) go straight to the top of the list when you sort by band? I only ask because that would give me even MORE reason to want some 311 in this game.

What I'm saying is that I really hate seeing "Visions" at the top of the list all the time. :p
DAMN IT EA, DON'T GO ACTIVISION ON ROCK BAND'S ASS.
That isn't possible until a bunch of Rock Band DLC isn't compatible with Rock Band 3.

When sorted by band #'s do in fact show up at the top.

Do you have the free 20 DLC songs? There is some band called The 88 that shows up before Abnormality. Can't say they're much better though.

If this is accurate, definitely Jackson 5 and all Freezepop. I can almost get rid of my PS2 Guitar Hero II.

and topped off with a couple Mad Season tracks? Yummy.

That bugs me more than it should! Oh well, most people just start scrolling down the list on instinct anyways. Pass "Acro-bats" and then people start seeing the familiar stuff (followed by me explaining how to jump to a letter of the alphabet and then politely asking the drummer not to hit the pads)

they should just release the 2-disc Degradation Trip album.

You're kidding. Easily Layne's best work as a vocalist. I listen to it far more often than AIC. I know you've heard a couple, River of Deceit & I Don't Know Anything. Both got a ton of radio play back in the day.

Do yourself a favor. Here is a playlist of the whole album, listen and enjoy.

This album also has Mark Lanegan on it, who rules more than any other person alive.

Mad Season also features lead guitar of GOD himself, Mike McCready. It is an amazing album from start to finish - the lyrics are so personal it's almost like he was saying "I'm going to be dead soon and I don't have the power to stop myself." It sucks he is gone.

That'd be some major pre-planning since it came out 7 years before he OD'd. But yeah, I get what you mean.

Alice in Chains does have a new album due out at the end of the month. I bet the missing Unplugged track will be held back to maybe tie in with it (and maybe some other tunes).

I'm curious about the new Alice in Chains album if anything. Good promotion if they release some of the songs on there for Rock Band DLC when it's out since so far the reviews for it have been positive.

Slightly O/T but if you pre-order their album on itunes($9.99) you get two bonus tracks for free:

Your Decision (live)
Black Gives Way to Blue
(feat. Elton John)

Also when you buy it, it immediately downloads the first single, Check my Brain.

I knew I wasn't the only one who wanted some Matchbox 20 in the game. :D

Please don't hurt me.

Just went through all 45 songs in Beatles Rock Band straight. The game never gets too difficult on expert, except on singing. Other then that, damn fun and the presentation is amazing.

I'm sure it was tempting to be all "OMG MICHAEL JACKSON IS TECHNICALLY IN OUR GAME" and hype it to death (yeah I know it was in RBU but MJ wasn't dead when that came out).
