No sign of any at the South County Target, MSU. It's the same DPCI # as the Amaray version and they had 3 showing in the display and 3 in inventory. They supposedly may get some in tomorrow on their morning shipment, though I might ask you to grab me one just in case, since I'm only able to go to Target in the morning for the rest of the week.

 
All mine local Target is OOS for regular edition or Steelbook version.  Possible late shipment later this week.  $17 not bad price for new release ;)

So it looks like this release, like Bad Blood, have had issues with getting stock to certain stores on release day. Weird. Anyway, wasn't able to get to Target today so hopefully can snag one later this week.

 
Doesn't look like the stores around me received any copies of JLvTT. One store does have a steelbook of Son of Batman; I can go back for it if anyone wants it ($17.99 + tax + shipping).

At first judging by the amount quoted in earlier post this one was going to be easier than Bad Blood, but then the flood of people finding nothing came in. Hopefully more will show up over the course of the next few days like Bad Blood did.

Still it leaves me asking why the hell can Target just get this crap together with these releases? How fuck hard is it to just give them their own dcpi? But nooo, they have to do the reverse of that and just stop advertising & offering them online. Bastards. :???:

I've bitched to Target numerous times over the years about it, to no avail. The most recent time I called, which was for Batman Bad Blood, the rep @ Target corporate actually told me it's their supplier that sets it if there's a separate DPCI # or not. I mean, give me a break, that's beyond ridiculous, it's Target that decides that.

Thanks, MSU. I'm going to try to check locally at the South County Target tomorrow and see if they have them or not and if they do, pick one up there and possible other ones if there's more than one.

 
Mine had about 2 in stock today but I also didn't get there till early afternoon so who knows

Didn't see any on my lunch break at the Target close to work but stopped by the store close to home after work and there were four out. Not really interested for myself but grabbed one in case anyone has anything good to trade for.

 
The JL/TT steelbook looks really nice in that pic.

I picked up 3, so 2's up for grabs. I'll wait til later in the week to really offer them.

I went after work to another Target, and they had 7 out. Didn't pick up any more.

The Dark Knight Returns delluxe edition was the first one I believe, then Justice League War, ect. Flashpoint Paradox was pre those, no unless their was a foreign one for it that I'm not aware of the answer is no. Too bad though.

 
No luck in Kansas City so far. Went to 5 Targets in the metro, all bust. Based on what I've found it looks like stores here got a distribution of 4x slipcase, 3x deluxe and no steelbooks.

I'm going to keep checking in this week, but if someone does manage an extra copy in good shape they want to mail off, please shoot me a PM

Possible thursday or friday this week. In case if the price got up by end of the week buy regular version and swap out steelbook version. Both Steelbook & Regular version have the same DPCI #. Also, make it extremely hard to track down

The price should go up to $19.99 starting Sunday.
 
Went to my two closest Targets this AM and they had one copy of the steelbook left between them, and it was a floater.  Decided to pick it up anyway since it is pretty tough to scratch a Blu Ray disc, and was glad I did.  That is one nice-looking steelbook!  Hope the movie is decent!

I had to pass on Target this morning due to two things that I needed to deal with this morning, so there's always tomorrow to try and pick extras for CAGs since MSUHitman has be covered.

 
Was going to skip this release but had to stop by Target last night for something else. There was one steelbook left and I figured it was a sign.

First two are mailing tonight, & I'm making arrangements with Shrike on the 3rd.

This DC steelbook is one of the hardest ones to come by in a while, all the stores around me seem to be oos of everything. I wonder if the recent Batman vs Superman movie had anything to do with that.

I've been checking Targets every morning this week, and none have ever gotten the Steelbook! Maybe they get it in a UPS/Fedex truck in the afternoon?

My store said they get trucks on Wed and Fri, so you may want to check tomorrow with your local Targets.

I called my local store today and they said they didn't have any that they could see, so I passed on going. I will try in person tomorrow morning and see what luck I might have.

All my local Targets that didn't get the JL v TT steelbook on Tuesday have yet to ever get them. Do any kind CAGs have an extra they are willing to sell?

Ghost in the Shell may be an Amazon exclusive as I have not seen it listed for sale anywhere else....yet.

Although it is interesting to note that both that and It Follows are Anchor Bay releases and I believe it was last year that Anchor Bay released a selection of catalog titles in steelbook form across many retailers.  Wonder if that is what will eventually happen with these.

If you include the cost of a padded envelope, sales tax on the envelope and movie, and insurance, it comes to about $24 for first class, insured, or $26 for priority.

 
the hateful 8 steelbook is back on sale for 19.99 but you cant order it for shipping or store pick up
