Super Bowl XLII
Thats quite an achievement.

I'll throw one out there. Biggest upset in sports history.
Any team could have taken that win the Pats handed over.
Yeah actually. That is going to be the worse.

God damn M. Morris is going to talk so much shit now. I wasnt even alive then and I hate that entire team because of him.

Again. Great game (though both teams played crappy) I will give it to the G men.

The thing I cant stand is the people who are just talking shit just because they dont like the pats with out right lies. Like the Pats have never done anything else but appear....cheat..and lose the 08 super bowl.

I could have sworn they won other ones.....and broke a ton of records.

Pats go home to your other super bowl rings and prepare for next year knowing you have one of the 2 best teams in the league.

By the way. How can anyone hate coach? He barely says anything to anyone about anything. All of his interviews are 1 sentence long answers and he doesnt deal with media.
Lemme see... Running up the score... spygate... No handshakes.. did I miss anything?
Any team could have taken that win the Pats handed over.
Oh come on, now. Give the Giants at least some credit.
Oh come on, now. Give the Giants at least some credit.
And, for clarity's sake, I meant any team, in history, no matter what sport. Ugandan badminton players? Could have rings right now. Finnish curlers? Rings.
Any team could have taken that win the Pats handed over.
The pats definantly dropped the ball, so to speak, but they were so heavily favored. Few really believed that the giants could come out on top. They dreamed but expected a loss.

It's a shame we won't see the superbowl and world series in Boston, but I'm not a fan of the pats anyways, and that was the only reason I rooted for the pats. It will also be the only reason I root for the Bruins and Celtics.

Congrats to the Giants and super Eli avoiding that uber sack with a super uber throw.

P.S. Yankees still suck and will choke this season.
Giants deserve all the credit they worked so hard for that win :applause:
no crap. The Giant sbeat up on the Pats all night. Remember how Brady laughed when Burress dare suggest a low scoring game?

Who laughing now?

Fact of the matter is the Pats have never won a Super Bowl by more than 3 points.
The Giants handed NE a few freebies at the end that could have ended NY's streak.. NE just didn't want it bad enough..
Yeah I know.

Damn can you get an interception? Christ Eli throw some bad passes at the end and NE just couldnt hold on.

Not including almost sack.

Again though...good game G men.
Giants deserve all the credit they worked so hard for that win :applause:
They deserved it.. They knocked off all the high calibur teams tomake it to the big game...

what a great game. when Eli got away from that sack and threw that amazing pass oh WOW. and then the CATCH holy moses

such a fun game, must be great to be a Giants fan right now lol

I usually think sports games are boring as all fuck, but this game was really good. It was a really exciting game.

Brady was exposed a lot in this game.....he can't handle pressure on him and if it werent for thse 3-5 yard patterns and screens, his stats would have showed this more.

I am glad they lost as I don't feel they were as great of a team as the media portrayed them, although they are a top 10 all time team.

I chest bumped some guy I didn't even know. Thats how amazing that was.
Thats quite an achievement.

As a Pats fan gotta give it up for the giants. They played a hell of a game. Nothing more to say than that!! Good game! enjoy the victory!
I usually think sports games are boring as all fuck, but this game was really good. It was a really exciting game.
The Philly vs Pats and Ravens vs Pats was pretty exciting too.. This one just takes the cake :)
This is what I am talking about it. No trophy? I could have sworn we went to other super bowls. How many has your team even been to...to even lose?

If you want to dance in the lose of the pats thats fine. If I didnt like the pats I would to but dont tell go so over the top.
My team's the Niners, so I'd say 5...and they won all 5.
This is soo wrong, the biggest upset ever was App State over Michigan. Damn why do my two favorite teams have to the Wolverines and the Pats???
ROFLCOPTER!!!!

You might wanna get yourself checked....

Damn you Patriots!

Not only does Notre Dame and Weis fail me, but now Belichick and the Patriots fail me.

Here's to hoping Notre Dame has a good season next year in college and the Denver Broncos have a good season next year.
You might wanna get yourself checked....
You had to be there kind of thing.

I love football and I love the Pats and Titans but I am always glad when the season is over.

I really like the off season. Less trash talk, all of the casual bandwagon fans are gone beacuse they dont care enough to actually follow the team. Simply just less douche bags.

Here is where the real tactics comes out. Bring on the draft and combine.

well my team is dallas and I believe they've won 5 super bowls.
well my team is dallas and I believe they've won 5 super bowls.
Amen.. brother.. And SB wins were decided more than 3 pts :)

No matter who won today I wasn't going to like it, at all.

I can't stand the Pats. Belichick is a classless prick that only a Patriots fan could love. Then you have Spygate, their at times arrogant attitude, and the biggest sin of all: beating my Panthers a few years back.

Then you have New York and their quarterback, Eli Manning. The same Eli Manning that pissed and moaned about being drafted #1 by San Diego and essentially had his daddy do all the work for him to land up in New York. I can't respect anyone (or any family) that pulls a prima-donna act like that. For that alone the thought of him having a ring makes me want to vomit. But at least Tiki wasn't there to get the ring.

Congrats to the rest of the Giants team (even if your quarterback is a douche) for playing hard and defeating the all mighty Patriots. It's a well deserved victory.

And cheer up Pats fans, 18-1 isn't too bad. I mean, it's not like your team lost the biggest game of...oh...um, well, at least you didn't lose to a New York team...oh...damn. Well, at least the Red Sox won, right?
just got back....

Wheres all my Pats fans out there?

Being a Giants fan right now feels so great, you have no idea

oh yea, i BELIVED
Remember how you and the Giants worked so hard this season for this moment, and it finally came true?

I do, my chocolate friend. I do.
well my team is dallas and I believe they've won 5 super bowls.
You mean this team?
romozn0ty9.gif

 Just kidding

The biggest thing that I hope the Pats improve upon during the offseason is getting better people to protect Brady. The protection especially during the post season has been frightening to watch. The defense during the Super Bowl for the most part had been solid as hell. Its too bad the infamous Pats offense was just flat. Had there been a pass here and there been catches instead of incompletes that would of changed the outcome of the game entirely.

But shoulda coulda woulda.... Giants won and that's what matters. It hurts for me to admit it let alone even say it..... but congrats to the Giants, Eli, and everyone else on the team for overcoming the odds. Who woulda thunk this out of ALL things would of happened.

I won't lie that there is still a LOT of things to be proud of as a Pats fan. Undefeated regular season, record upon record broken, and just one hell of a regular season. While again its too bad at the eleventh hour the final piece of what would of made this season perfect didn't happen..... I'm still damn proud to be a Patriots fan.

did you see my performance on the field? i love you Mox, no matter what you say

Oh, I also love how they won without Jeremy Shockey. I hate that guy. Seeing him watch from the press box and not on the sidelines was awesome.

All I am saying. I will congrat the Gmen but I wont let people say the the Pats were horrid when they were not.

But again......bring on the off season. The best part of football to begin with.

Well if I remeber correctly, NE didn't make it to the big show last year either ..
Well if I remeber correctly, NE didn't make it to the big show last year either ..
Spurs didnt make it 2 years ago either......but no one is going to say they are not a good team.

But I really just wanted an excuse to use that pic......damn its a funny pic.
Brady was exposed a lot in this game.....he can't handle pressure on him and if it werent for thse 3-5 yard patterns and screens, his stats would have showed this more.
No quarterback could handle that kind of pressure. His line was getting beat like a mule all night, and I feel that they were the most overrated part of the Pats this year. Brady's throws were definitely affected by his ankle, as well.

It took a hell of a play to do it, and I still can't believe Eli made that play when he was almost sacked. Congratulations to the Giants, but the Pats will be back next year.
so does this mean the giants and eli dont suck anymore?
I think they just got hot at the right time.. If it was the first half NY team that showed up today.. I don't think they would have won..

Lets say, that are the best post season team this year.. The best team on any give sunday would probably be NE..
But I really just wanted an excuse to use that pic......damn its a funny pic.
QFT. :applause:

Off season should be interesting.... as should MLS as soon as April comes around. Heck... maybe we'll finally see the New England Revolution finally end that fucking curse of not winning the MLS Championship game this season.

That was a good game though this year. Not to take the topic off track. I was actually rooting for them even though they are not my fav MLS team.

But they just couldnt pull it out.

I am really excited to see how the Lions are going to once again fuck up their draft.

Did anyone else find the half time show boring? I mean cmon we didn't even get a nip slip from Tom Petty. Bullshit.

I still can't get over that Eli throw. That was amazing. Great play.
