Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

I picked up the Lsst copy of FEAR (PS3) and Simpsons Game (Xbox 360). Also they had a PS3 Simpsons Game that was mismarked at $12.48 so i picked that up as well for my brother. Other than that it was the same stuff. No new price drops.

Also Since I picked up the 360 Simpsons awhile back at $24.98 (was the last copy at the time) I tried to price match the new price since the one I got at the other store (yesterday) was $12.48. They would not price match it for me NOR would they let me return and rebuy it. So I just returned it and got my $24.98 plus tax back. Not sure why they would not let me.

Target policy states no price adjustment on clearance items. so a return/rebuy falls under that. some stores cares others don't. it is really a hit and miss.

As-is tags are sometimes put on items that are found to be out of the system. I know last week I found a factory sealed Meet the Robinsons (360) with the As-is tag on it for $3.xx

Had to make a run to Target again since it's near GS but picked up PGR4 for $14.98 and Neverwinter Knights 2: Mask of the Betrayer Expansion for $9.98.

The only other 360 games they had were $14.98 and were NBA Street, NHL2K8 and NBA08 and a good number of PS3 games on clearance.

Made sure to check the clearance for PC again and still the same, mainly expansion sets for Age of Empires. But been buying the PGR's anyway and $14.99 is still good.

Still no price drop at my main Target for The Orange Box PS3 or Lair so im still waiting them out. I did pick up a PS3 Psyclone vertical light up stand thing for $4.98, they had one left if anyone is interested. I thought it was pretty cool and seems like it holds the system pretty well but still with me when im not playing it its laying down, but while playing I would prefer to have it vertical. Also got a copy of Stuntman for the PS3 only copy. Rainbow Six Vegas and the darkness as weird as it is rang up for $40 and $60 which I dont understand. Those were clearenced out months ago. Also still cant find a copy of FEAR or The Godfather so if anyone has one sealed let me know I might buy it from you. Oh yea I also found some copies of Folklore - took me forever to find that game.

I went today and asked if I could do the return/rebuy on The Orange Box PS3, and they were cool with it, they did it for me. I took the clearance sticker off the game that said it was $29.98 and I told them I wanted to do the return/rebuy because I was charged incorrectly for it.

I originally paid $27.04 for it, after using the $5 off cpn. They gave me back $16.23 in cash after the return/rebuy. So, I ended up getting The Orange Box PS3 for $10.81 total! The Orange Box. Five games. One box. Two dollars a game. Sounds about right since I got Half-Life 2 XBox for $1.99 from the BB clearance last time.

I actually saw 4 or 5 80 GBs yesterday, but they were still full price when scanned. The guy said they are discontinued in their system, but haven't hit clearance yet.

I bought Simpsons at beginning of April at BB for $30 PM against CC. Then I saw it as $24 at Target a few days later. I waited and opened the BB version. Then just a week or so ago I saw it in Target for $12.48 and grabbed the last one. Took receipt back to BB and got an additional $21.xx back in cash! I still have the Target one unopened. Not sure if I should return it or trade it.

I have 2 Targets I can go to but they have very limited stock of any games... much less ones on clearance.

I just bought one of these yesterday from Target yesterday and was marked at $40 but rang up for $20. It was placed down a random isle with some other computer case (in the wrong section). I noticed the tape was torn buy for $20 I couldn't pass it up. When I got home everything was fine but someone had stolen one of the two batteries as the packet inside had been opened.

Ok, honestly: Who steals a battery? And even more weird: Who steals just one of the batteries when there is two of them?

Either way, it is such a great deal I could care less.

At least in Columbus, OH this is not the case. They only clearanced out their 1 gen models, which would be just the 30GB Zune. They had plenty of 8 and 80gb units in and said they had already sold out all of their clerance units. This has been the case at multiple stores in my area.

It scans at the price. The sticker should match the scanned price, but sometimes they miss putting a new sticker on it.

So i figure she's makeing sure the gaem is in there. THen she lift the game out, so i figure she wants to make sure it real. THen she takes the scissors and scracthes the hell out of the back of the disc. Sehe then puts a sticker on the csae and hands me a recipt. Not one word is uttered until "you card will be credited". I was just standing there wondering what the shaq-fu had just happened. I felt bad for the game, like I sent it to it's death.
