Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Today I picked up Jeanne D'Arc for 14.98. They also had (for PSP) Crazy Taxi Fare Wars and FF 1 for 14.98, and Hot Shots Golf for 9.98 - I don't think I saw those in the OP, though someone has probably posted about them before me...

I also found a 4000 points card for $34.98 - would have been nicer if it was cheaper, but oh well I don't really need it right now, but I figure I will at some point.

Same exact scenario at that Target; about two weeks ago there were about 10 orange boxes left at 24.98 (I already bought one, waiting for more of a drop), however went back and every single one was gone. Also had the pink/blue battery packs for 5.98, Kane & Lynch for 19.99.

Judging from other recent posts, it looks like a lot of Targets are clearing out the stockrooms where old, forgotten gaming items have disappeared. Mine put out some old B-list strategy guides, like Goldeneye Rogue Agent, at 30% off (!), and I've also seen that 2005 Fantasy football guide that someone mentioned above.

Well, I hit up a few Targets in the DC area and didn't find much in the way of clearance games. At one store they said they just sent off all the cheap 360 Sports games (the ones that are $5 after coupon). At others, many of the games were still at the higher prices (like $24.98 for NCAA March Madness 08 for PS3). I did finally find a Lair for $14.98 - a game I haven't seen anywhere (in 5-6 Targets) at home since it was over $30 several weeks ago. If anyone wants one, hit up the Target in Rockville, MD. They had several in a locked case at the end of the game aisle. This was the store that said they shipped off all the cheap 360 games recently. Apparently no gamers (or at least no CAGs) go there. :lol:

At another Target I found a Metallic Rose Nintendogs DS Lite bundle on clearance for $105 - sorry, got the last one of those .

Finally, Orange Box dropped in my area. Picked up OB, Lair, NBA 08, NCAA MM 08 and PGR 4. Used a total of 6 coupons today. Also, picked up FF2 PSP for $9.98 after coupon.

When I bought OB and PGR 4, I used both the $5 off coupon and the 360 $10 off coupon. I got both games for $16.xx after taxes. This happened at the Target where I was denied the use of the 360 coupon before.

No price drop on Simpsons ($24.98) and MoH: AA ($29.98).

I opened the Artic Tale(Wii) that I got for $7.48 last week and the game was missing.:shock: Not sure if it's worth the hassle of going back to complain.

Well, my Target run after work was a bust. No Xbox 360 stuff was red-tagged and OB was actually only marked down to $49.99 instead of $39.99 like I had seen at another Target on the same day. Game case looked like it had been raped and was bare to the bones. None of the games in the "cheaper" section looked worth getting and most were PH versions anyway. I wonder if today will be any different. Just sucks that I wasted a trip.

Yes, I hit two Targets on the way home from work last night and they each had 2 or 3 clearance areas that were overflowing with stuff. Alot of older stuff but some decent finds. I'll try to post what I found but I'd advise hitting your Targets today to see what showed up:

PS2 - Singstar Bundles (I believe they were Rock and the 80s (could have been 90s), but these were the bundles with 2 mics. Saw them for $24 at one store and $34 at another.

There were a bunch of older guides that were not marked down enough (10-15 range). I saw a 2006 fantasy football guide which was hilarious until I read the above post about the 2005 guides.

The Target in Pontiac, Michigan does not have PGR 4, GRAW 2, or 4000 MS point cards in stock. I price checked a 1600 point card and it was still $19.99. Weak.

I think people in michigan just snatch everything up before it can ever get to clearance or right when it does. It's usually pretty hard to get the really good deals, but if you look around a few might slip through. Plus, I like to think that most of the people here are from california so their targets order tons of these games that never sell and michigan ones only order a handful.
