This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Narnia something = $20 or $25 as I could really care less when I saw it

Lots of Kane and Tiger but only two copies of Dark Sector which is the one I'd want out of all of them. I passed as I know I'm going to get lost for a couple of weeks with Soul Calibur 4 and hoopefully Blast Works if I can find it at BB tomorrow while picking up SC4.

I always come up empty at K-mart in the city but I did score a copy of MX VS. ATV(PS3) for $14.98 at the Target on 20th ave in Queens (after two trips)

Also picked up NCAA 08 ps2 for 4.98.

First time ever scoring anything on clearance at any Target in NYC.

if they didn't the psp section would have been just about empty. a good 1/3 of the case had clearance tags on it.

The local Target has an entire half-aisle dedicated to just bargain games, with sections for $9.99, $14.99, and $19.99 games.

Cranium Kabooki must've hit the $19.99 bin recently. I haven't seen it elsewhere for less than $30. Target's site has the same price for that game.

There were 5 more shelf tags marked clearance, but the games were gone today. So there's a few more out there.

Prices were 30% off. Some were $10.48 and some were slightly higher.

Also anyone have the DCPI# for Dark Sector, Kane n Lynch on PS3? As it is different from the one on Target's website

He may be telling the truth, sure...but given how long it's been on clearance and since the pricing varies between stores, good luck finding it at this point.

When stuff rings up at 0.00, often the clerks will let you specify a price. I usually say that a lot of the other clearance stuff goes to $5 - $7. Don't give up if it comes up out of system.

Had an interesting thing happen to me last night.

I noticed that Ratchet & Clank had been updated to a NCF tag, which sometimes means that the title will move to clearance soon, if it hasn't already.

So I punched the DCIP into price checker and it came up out of system. Thinking I had missed this one on clearance I had the guy pull the game out of the case and had him ring it up. Out of System. So he says, this must have been on clearance, let me check the last price and pulls out the hand scanner. At this point I'm thinking I'm going to get it for $14.98 and that would be a steal... Last reported price was $59.99. DOH!

It could be there-- who knows. But when considering whether or not items are available, consider the price, desireability, and when it clearanced. In this instance, FEAR was clearanced in April and dropped to 3.74 in June. Pending any miracles that the flying spaghetti monster has in place for you, I'd say that game is long gone.

This may be a little off topic, but I found a Joker Action Figure like this one at Target today. They are hard to come by and go from $30-$50 on Ebay. Target sells them for $12.99. It was just thrown on the shelf. The DPCI is 087-06-0977. This is a hell of a find and maybe if you guys type it in they may have it in there stockroom since I did not see a home spot for it on the floor. It's worth a try for you Dark Knight Fans out there.

Checked two Targets in my area.

Both have Dark Sector and Kane and Lynch PS3 in the cases listed at $27.XX. Going to wait a week or two on the hopes of $14.99. My gaming budget has been a little high recently with the amount of time I've been actually playing so a wait maybe the right thing to do.

One Target had the new Narnia PS3 game for $35.XX also saw XB360 NCAA Football 2008 so those look to be the next Clearance finds.
