This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There are some of these at the new Target near Ridgemar Mall in Ft. Worth, Tx. I saw them over Christmas break when visiting family and it made me happy to know George and Mr. Spacely are still employed.:p
 
The Parma, OH Target had Mercenaries 2 ($14.98) and Bolt ($14.98), too for the :360:. They did have PS3 Mercenaries 2, but didn't check the price. I also spotted several :360: Soul Calibur IV ($41.98) on the clearance shelf, too.

Yesssss Those are the ones . they look like something out of Jet Set Radio or something . I bet they are the prototype for the new smart car.

Wow people this is only a shpooing cart !!! They are about 90% plastic so they are cheap for the store... Nothing futuristic..no prototype, nothing.. just a cart sorry. ;)

But that cart is so pretty. It makes me want to shop at target so I can use those carts. Man now I can't go back to my target cause their carts suck.....the pretty :drool:

VF5 is widely considered to be the best 3D fighter on the market.
 
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue= $9.98

Must have been hidden or more likely misplaced as there was only one copy when it first went on clearance for $28. This makes up for not being able to find it at Radioshack for $10.
 
So $29.98 For Tomb Raider: Underworld is the NEW pricing for at least a couple weeks, right?

I might just get it at Circuit City since it's the SAME price (50% off)
 
At the Target in Lemont, IL - just picked up Rock Band Track Pack2 (PS3) for $14.98. For PS3, they had one copy of Endwar ($29.98), a couple GH3 game-only (24.98), and Singstar w/ 2 mic's (29.98). They had a bunch of 360 games (Mercs 2, Too Human, Facebreaker, Fracture, UT3), but I only remember Facebreaker @9.98 being exceptionally priced.
 
Oh, and I picked up the RB Track Pack 2 for $7.xx for PS3.
Didn't realize it came with a code to download the tracks, only reason I picked it up.

No dude, don't buy it at CC. Buy it at Target for $30, if it drops to $15 buy it again and return that copy using the first receipt so you get your $30 back. If you buy at CC, no returns.
 
The Agusta ME Target was my second stop today on my 4 store clearance shopping spree. my target sucks when it comes to marking down there games. there clearance endcap was lucky to have 15 games on it, all from different consoles.I did grab a couple of ps3 games.

I know there not the $14.98 and the$9.98 deals everyone is getting but who ever is ordering the video games for my store dose not go overboard because I onily ever see 2 or 3 copys if that of a clearance game. except for HAZE they couldent get anyone to pay full retail for that game lol.so for me waiting for the next price drop with only 2 copys on the shelf is like gambling in las vegas. your most likely will loose out.

The local Target I go to opened in October of last year and we got those carts. I pushed on the other day for the first time. They handle INSANELY better than any metal cart I've run. Then again, it might just be because they're still fairly new. The back wheels are really stable so making sharp turns is insanely easy.

Just picked up Tiger Woods 09 PS3 for $14.99. My target had 4 of them. They also had FarCry PS3 at $29.99 but I'll wait till it gets a bit lower. Saw a Rockband 360 in there too.

The $9.98 for Endwar is kind of weird.. since the game is $ 59.99 new 75% of that is $ 14.98.

I bought mercs 2 :ps3: there monday for 9.98. Is this the one thats really close to boiling springs? I didn't see any F2 last time. I saw a ton of Tomb Raider. So hopefully, it'll be around for 14.98.

all i can say is that its freaking hard to play with all those combos that you can do. just trying to remember them is a headache. The battle system is very sophisticated takes forever to master. All i can say its a completely different level in fighting games(more hardcore gamers IMO). Unfortunately the game doesn't support online play. The games is hard to play, and not very much of my friends play it. Instead, they play tekken. I still think its still worth buying for your gaming library.

anyone able to confirm the deals of end war and FC2 for $15> in California?

ha I went to the manchester store Monday. They don't really have anything good. All I saw was about 10 bourne games for 41.98 and they had 2 too human for 19.98, 1 rockband track pack thing and some unreal tournaments for 27.98 or something like that. The whole clearance shelf is a disaster. I don't really go to that target that often because it's always lacking in clearance games. I haven't been to the enfield store..if you find anything good let me know lol.
 
I've been to three Targets here in San Diego Couny (Escondido, Vista, and Oceanside) looking for SingStar Abba for PS2 and have had no luck : (

I did see Soul Calibur IV at the Oceanside store for 29.9X and was tempted but decided not to get it.

My local store had two for 7.48 as of earlier today. I would offer to get one for you but it defeats the purpose when you have to add fees and shipping to something that cheap.

They could go lower, my stash(3 games) was put them back on the shelf. I was able to recover 2 of the 3 but the 3rd was Ace Combat, and I really wanted that too

Wow. Yesterday you were able to search fable 2 LE on target.com and use the locator. You can't now. It only lets you for Fable 2 not LE. It says

The 360 clearance games sell like hotcakes the minute they hit the shelf. The PS3 games, however, seem to be plentiful. Bought High School Musical 3 Dance PS2 for my girlfriend earlier today for 7.48. Almost couldn't believe a soccer mom didn't nab that.

On that note, I have a feeling that I will be able to get Far Cry 2 PS3 for 14.98 next week. Would anyone be interested in swapping a 360 version, used or new, for the PS3 version sealed?
 
Went earlier today to Target and the only noticeable mark down I saw was Fracture(PS3) for $10. Turok Evolution was $30, as was Motorstorm. Saw Mass Effect for $20. There was a Warhawk bundle for $30 but they had run out of copies.

Back on topic, the Target in Inglewood, CA has about 10 copies of FFIV DS for $19.98. So it's pretty much a sure bet that they will make it to $9.98. Everything else is at 50% off.

They also have a lone copy of Fable II LE for $34.98 (50% off). I post this so that someone will help me out and buy the Fable II LE. Eventhough, I have the regular version, I am tempted to pick this up at 75% off. :lol:

I have noticed the exact opposite in all the Target stores around me. The PS3 games sell within a day or two of hitting the clearance shelf, but the 360 games seem to be there for weeks.
 
Picked up Mercs 2 for $15....GH: Aerosmith for 360 was 19.99 (seemed odd)

Would love to pick up Tomb Raider if it would ever drop around here
 
Picked up Rock Band 360 bundle for $69.xx and Tiger Woods 09 ps3 for $14.99. Also saw tons of other stuff but waiting for rock bottom prices. Also, a bit off topic, picked up an Olevia Blu Ray player for $99.99. It was on the clearance shelf below the games.

Quick question, slightly off topic. I bought FC2 for PS3 at 14.98, and found COD:WaW for PS3 at $32 at Radio Shack. However, last night I found a copy COD:Modern Warfare at CC. Which game should I keep? I can't keep all 3, or even two, but I'm looking for a shooter game and would like some advice on which to keep.

Nabbed a copy of Ace Combat 6 for $15. Any opinions on if it's worth it? :p

Only copy left so I didn't want to afford another drop. Otherwise stuff is still sitting at the 50% mark. Waiting on Silent Hill to drop from $41, bleh.
