This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

Stopped at a Target in CT and only found PC Sam & Max Season 1 - Episodes 1-3 on clearance for $2.48 and they had a PC dogfighting game Iron Aces: Heroes of WWII for $2.48 as well.

I wouldn't even look at Turok until it hits 75% ($7.48). As for X-Blades...it would have to drop past 75% (which it won't). It seems a bit slow for clearance right now, but there are a few decent games in the PS2 stuff that is getting clearanced (Bully, KH II, J&D TPL, some R&C games). Hopefully some of the current gen games from Dec/Jan/Feb start clearancing soon.

Only game worth mentioning was 1 target had Avatar last airbender into the inferno for PS2 down to $4.98 already, the others had it still at $13.98..

Non gaming scored 2 Logitech quickcam Communicate MP web cams for $12.22 each.
 
Made a run this morning for breakfast goods and for some candy :D.

Finally SingStar ABBA made the drop to $9.98, and I also picked up Blitz II PS3 at $9.98. I like football games, and at that price its worth a bite.

There were some copies of FarCry 2 x360 for $29.98. Afro Man PS3 was $29.98 and half of the clearance PS2 games are gone. Kingdom Hearts II was still at 30%. Ingen Blu-ray set at $24.98 and those Sony noise cancelling earbuds are still at $49.98, yet the Hanna Montana MP3 players went to $9.98.

Also there was a thread about that people wanted the gaming ottoman at Target. It was finally red tagged at $27.98. Although its probably YMMV since many stores don't stock them anymore after they ran out.

Just a FYI, but the MSRP is now $29.99. So it's likely they might drop the price to the 19.98. Mine have been bad, they really only drop the clearance price when the MSRP goes lower. I've seen many times the clearance price higher then MSRP.

I've been too busy but that reminds me. I saw it for $19.98 on... Saturday if I'm not mistaken... Target in Watauga, TX. They had about 10 copies left too (no, I'm not going to get you one, sorry).

Havent dropped here yet either, been watching them for a month now.
 
I'm sorry I'm new to Target for my gaming I have a always fully stocked BBuster 4 blocks from my place for deals....but I never see any Target Clearence games when I go. I sometimes see like 3 random games thrown on an end cap on clearence. But where are these games usually placed...behind the glass? Maybe they are picked up before I get there

Ummm the only reason I think Halo Wars CE will be clearance is because it's not out on the floor, just sitting there in the Backstock... Now, if it's going to be months like that, pretty sure eventually it will go on Clearance. :)

My store put them at 50% off for the first drop which usually means they skip the next drop at three weeks and wait for the final drop which is usually at six weeks. I hope nobody buys up all the white ones and leaves me with the pink ones as I would probably get them anyways!
 
Dropped by the Chantilly, VA Target and found a copy of :360:TR:UW. Scanned it and...OOS. Booo. The guy at electronics was nice enough to track down the pricing team, and they gave it to me for $14.98 (75%). Nice to know that at least one of the resident hoarder/hider's stashes was found, as this game popped up out of nowhere and still had the 50% tag on it.

Other than that, I didn't see any other drops on the stuff I have been keeping an eye on :)psp: NCAA 09, :360: MLB Front Office Manager, :pc: Prison Tycoon 4)

I found clearance copies of Prison Tycoon by the PC game section. I know some Targets consolidate clearance console and PC games (and mine usually does as well) but not this week.

Yeah, there was one copy left, and there are two left at another Target I frequent. They are all still stuck at $9.98 (50%) though, I'm hoping for $4.98 (75%).

Singstar ABBA finally dropped to $9.98 for me too.

Psyclone dual PS3 charger $4.82
Another Rock Band USB Hub $4.98
 
That Sam & Max is episodes 1-3 only, just an FYI. I also saw Quantum of Solace PC for $7.48. But I left that because I want the PS3 version when I get around to playing it.
 
Picked up Mirror's edge for the 360 for $20 in harrisonburg, VA. It had been marked clearance at $38 just days before, so it sure dropped quick. Only a two copies left so I didn't want to risk waiting for it to drop to 15 and selling out

Nice, I'll get Mirror's Edge at that price. Let's hope my Target has dropped the prices on their clearance games.
 
went by my Target around 11 this morning... still 5 or 6 copies of Mirror's Edge, ALONG with my hidden copy I put somewhere a week ago.

Still $27.98 as of right now...i'll continue to hold out until the big drop.. just ordered Crackdown off Newegg, so I should be good for a while, that and TLaD
 
My store had..

Several Rock Revolutions (PS3) @ 4.98
a few Singstar ABBA's @ 9.98
and I almost bit on TW 09 for 29.98 (X360)

Other than that lots and lots and lots of PS2 games and none of them caught my eye really. Was hoping for sealed KH II but no dice.
 
I broke down when my local Target finally dropped Tiger 09 and Fry Cry to $29 and $19.

There weren't many copies left that weren't gutted (Actually caught a young spanish boy trying to with his exacto knife) so I bought one of each and will check weekly for update on the drop I think it will be at least one more for each before they are all gone and I can just return and rebuy for 90 days as the customer service manager told me....

Mirrors Edge's had no pricing stickers on them
Dead Spaces were no on shelf, but on bottom, not priced (are they going to clearance?)
Afro Sam's were back on shelfs at 59.99.
One Target had Xblades at 41.xx still, another at 27.xx (thinking about getting it at that price, only had 2 left).

3 pink controllers still, but still on the shelf labeled as blue controllers. Asked a lady to price check them for me and she just pointed to the sign and told me they were 49.99.
I told her that was wrong, but she wouldn't price check for me.
 
Got a Psyclone 360 accessory kit for 360 for $9.98. Had a cooler fan (prob will trade to Gamestop if they take it), HDMI cable (will keep), DVD remote (sorta crappy, will see if Gamestop takes it), Play and Charge cable, and rechargable battery. Mostly bought it for the battery/cable.

Also picked up Sam & Max for $2.48.

A bunch of the Psyclone PS2 6' Wired controllers were $2.48, iirc.

Awww man, if only the drive from the Valley to the OC wasn't an hour long, I would be all over that pink controller.

What you need to do is say you are going to buy it and have them take it to the register. Once they scan it you can decide whether or not it is worth your while.

I would have grabbed that boy by the ear and take him directly to security. He needs to learn a lesson now before his habit gets worse.

Perhaps avoid physical conduct and make a raucous as to alert security and/or scare the bajeebus out of him by pretending to be security.

I found a load of them at my local Target for $7.20, which was cheap enough for me. The controller is slightly larger than the DualShock 2 controller, the control pad feels a little loose under your thumb, and there's no vibration feedback. It's decent enough for a cheap third-party accessory. If the price drops again, I may pick up another one.
 
Saw Abba PS3 for $9.98 and a shit load of Cyclone PS2 controllers for $2.48 here in p'cola also.. Everything has not dropped yet.
 
picked up Mirror's Edge for 20 at fairlakes. The cashier had the nerve to pull off the new updated clearance sticker to see the price underneath claiming the number was different. WTF?!?!? She is scanning the barcode, NOT the clearance tagged number. It's like she was thinking I put a new sticker over it. Still came up as 20.

I am glad someone found that assclown's stash at Chantilly. Good job!
 
I went ahead and picked up Mirror's Edge for $20. There were still a ton of copies so I almost waited for another drop, but I've really been wanting to play it and didn't wanna miss out if someone scooped them all up with the next price change. And with the TIV & bonus at GS, I'll only end up coming shot a couple of bucks. Or I'll just sell it someone I know for $20 and get my money back.
