This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

Most likely a temporary drop, but didn't see too many copies, and saw it in the clearance ("the back") section.
 
I saw Wheelman and RB2 for PS3 at 30% off today.

Only thing I saw that I don't think has been mentioned before was the Wii Areosmith double guitar bundle at 50% off for $75.

Afro Samurai (PS3) hit $14.98 today. Was the only noticable drop at the Lionville, PA Target. Dark Mirror was $19.98, but with 20+ copies there, I am going to wait for one more drop, methinks.
 
Nothing new at the Target in Orlando. Except that stupid GPS that they have about 50 of, the 1200, for 90.xx i believe

Yeah...it's sadly true. However, our Motor Vehicle code is up to snuff, something that can't be said for Ohio. And that's even with the ridiculous tint laws...

I would have liked to wait for the $15 price too, but my friends bday is this week (and his copy of Tiger 08 stopped working).
So I had to grab copies today @ $30.
Thank god my local Target finally dropped it this week from 30% off down to 50% off!

It took em 3 weeks to make that drop, it wasn't the standard 2 weeks I had gotten used to.
 
Rogers MN finally dropped Tiger 09 to 14.98. They had about 8 copy's left at 2:00pm.
I also decided to pick up the Jensen HD radio/Ipod dock/alarm for $49.
Surprisingly, it sounds really good as long as you stretch the FM antenna to the ceiling and set the EQ to Rock.
I might actually decide to keep it. As long as the alarm is able to wake me up tomorrow morning.
 
Picked up X-Blades finally for 14.98$ in the O.C area (Seal Beach), no more at that store as far as I could see. Also bought the Magician Handbook: Cursed Valley for 5$ (It's a hidden object game for my wife).

I saw Rock Band 2, game only on the PS3 at 30% off today. I didn't notice anyone else mentioning that, and I bet it's important...

Edit: apparantly, I just don't read good because someone above me mentioned it...

It's weird because Far Cry 2 360 is still $19.98 and has been that price for over a month now while Mirrors edge only recently dropped.

Also picked up the last copy of Sonic Unleashed 360 for $24.98 because I'm a sucker for Sonic...

I stopped by my local Target today, and they had a couple copies of Far Cry 2 for $9.98, so I picked one up.

I wish they had Mirror's edge for that much though, I've been wanting to get it.

Can't really help you at all.
It's all up to the target store you shop at. They decide when they are going to clearance an item. Thus the reason one city may have a game at 14.98, while another has the same game at 41.98, or even full price.

Really the Target by me had a red sticker on that said $19.98 for Mirrors Edge as well as Far Cry 2. I might have to stop by there after work and see if it scans up at a different price.

You could walk to my target and pick up Mirrors Edge for 27.xx. What gives with NOR CAL?

Also saw Bad Company for 29.99 in their budget section. Why would they clearance this out and bring it back at a lower retail?
