This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

Wilsonville, OR store dropped most of the titles. I picked up the last "The Last Remnant" (no pun intended :p) along with two Rock Band Track Pack Volume 2s (they had been there since they went on clearance, so fair game).

Saw plenty of Tomb Raiders.

Rock Revolution :360: dropped to $4.98, but while :ps3: version just went on clearance to $14.98.

Also, the PS3/PS2 Memory Card adapter is now on clearance.
 
I forgot to mention that when I was in Target earlier today I saw the new sonic game in the glass case with NCF on the price marker (not the tag on the game itself, but the tag that is in front of the row of each individual game).
 
These prices have already been confirmed a number of times, but for any Twin Cities CAG's waiting for the 75% drop on Lego Batman, the Burnsville Target had 3 or 4 at $12.48 today. Waited almost a month on those. They also had Spiderman WoS for $12.48 (1 or 2).

I stopped by both Pines Targets today - the one near 95 and the one near University. The one near 95 didn't have anything good, but the one near University was a gold mine for 360/PS3 stuff.

I picked up Tomb Raider and Silent Hill for $15. They also had 1 copy of The Last Remant for $15 but it was slightly opened and looked like it was missing disks so I passed on it.

I didn't buy it because I wasn't in the mood at the time, but they also had a $35 Rockband. The package looked a little beat up, but for $35 it was probably worth it. I really should have bought it. By now it's probably gone.

Now I just need to find Soul Calibur 4 and The Last Remnant and then I'll be good for the next few months. If anyone knows of a Target near Broward County that has these games for $15 or less, please PM me details.
 
:lol: @ the CAGs a handful of pages ago-- Shut up you guys! This thread has so much bickering in it... the K-Mart and the Sears clearance thread are so much nicer. IO and Phear3d throw monthly picnics for everyone... now I know why the Target crew is never invited: you all act like a bunch of DICKS to each other! :rofl:

Anyway, made a couple of good runs:
Frye and Chandler Blvd Chandler, AZ had :360: Unreal Tournament for 9.98 (one copy left) and a bunch of silly DS games-- Iron Chef (I think they had one more of this) some Tak game, and the Naked Brothers Band (I didn't get this) for 4.98. Also got the last Guitar Hero clone for DS for 3.74. Never saw or heard of it, so I had to get it. Also snagged End War for DS, 7.48, they had a few left for those.

Second Target had mediocre pricing-- BUT there was a Logitech controller for PS3 that was mismarked 7.20 (rang up 29.98) They honored the mismarked price, so that was an awesome deal. Also saw wireless Xbox controllers by Psyclone for 15ish? Some Psyclone PS2 controllers, and also a pink 360 first party controller for 34.98. I passed on that, but I'll keep an eye out and see if magically hits 12.48. This was at the Arizona Ave. and Warner store in Chandler, AZ-- I mention this because there's one more mismarked PS3 controller there on the middle shelf of the endcap.

my fav target is not near broward, well there's one on 57th ave, and 183rd Street in Miami Gardens, there's nothing much there at this time. If I see some good stuff there I'll let you know.
 
Whoo, found a Target near me that had several copies of The Ship. So I picked up one for $4.98. I can't wait to get to try it out later.

I also found a big stack of The Bourne Ultimatum and TR: Underworld. If anyone else in my area is interested in finding out which store I found the copies in, just PM me.
 
That was weird. My Target didn't have any Fable II LEs last week, but today they had some at $17.48. I thought they were all gone since last time they were there was two weeks ago when they were at 50% off.

Anywho, I got the Bourne Conspiracy for the 360 for $14.98.

I also saw Tom Clancy's End War for ~28, in addition to those titles, at those prices. Also saw the Rock Band Bundle for PS3 for ~98. Wonder if that will make it to 34...

was able to pick up rock band for the 360 for 34.98 but I might return it cause I literally have no space to play the drums and having that to just play guitar is silly to me. Hell of a deal though.

I was happy I found a copy of Too Human at my Target. Then I scanned it, and the fucking thing rang up 19.98. I can't believe they haven't updated the price on it yet. :whistle2:x

Spiderman on PS3 has stayed at $29.98 for 3 weeks in a row.

Anyone know if the Rockband insturments will work on Rock Revolution for PS3? I'd pick it up at 50% off if it did
 
Found Mercs 2 (PS3) for $10 and Lego Batman (x360) for $12.49 at the Watertown, MA store. Last copies. Both it and the Somerville MA stores have big stacks of Tomb Raider at $30 and a handful of copies of Soul Calibur IV at $30. I was delighted to find the last copy of Too Human (X360) for $10 at the Somerville store.

I've given up trying to figure out the price drop schedules. I just drop by my local stores every Monday and hope I get lucky.

same here man. everything has been at 30 ( SCIV, TLR and TRUW), a few at twenty (two human, fracture, UR) with no drops in the last few weeks.

Crap. So all these clearance games that were significantly higher at my Targets than y'all were getting them for are all gone. They must've dropped in price at my Targets recently.

There were tons at all the Targets (3 in total) that I visited today in Chicagoland. All had just hit the clearance bins and were $27.98, which is just too much for me. I am still debating if I am going to keep the $29.98 Singstar V1 w/ mics that I bought last weekend. They still have a couple v1's that have not dropped yet ... was hoping they would this week. Maybe they will next week.

Here's a slightly weird story. I was at the National City Plaza Bonita Target and spotted a copy Tomb Raider: Underworld for the 360 marked at $14.98. I asked the electronics guy if that was the right price but it rang up $29.98. He said he'd give it to me at the stickered price, which I promptly purchased. Then he asked if there were other copies. I showed him where there were more and he took them all off the shelf. I'm guessing these were marked down too early.

absolutely no price drops at my target today. As a reference: Prince of Persia for DS is still $20.xx, when the thread shows it's gone down to $7.48. And TR:U is still $30. I wonder if they only do markdowns based on sales. Maybe if sales aren't good they freeze or delay markdowns. It's ridiculous that all Targets aren't on the same page.
 
Like a bunch of other people, Tomb Raider: UW and Last Remant finally dropped to $14.xx so i picked those up. Some new games i saw were some singstar games for the ps2 and then singstar ABBA, Bioshock, and Blitz: The League 2 all for the ps3 and all marked $27.xx
 
Picked up UT3 at 9.98 (FINALLY went down at my store) for me and a friend.

Lots of games disappeared since I was last there (just a few days' time), and what's funny is there weren't any new drops (other than UT3, which there were still a lot of copies of at 9.98) for 2 weeks.

Still waiting on Soul Caliber 4 to drop. Sitting at 29.98 right now. Sigh.
 
Man, Im a little peeved. the Target at Southlake (south of Atl) still have their good games at $30.

I really want to pickup the Bourne Conspiracy for $15 if possible. But mine only has SCIV, TLR, TR:UW.

but one Target near my g/f's house has Bourne for $30, waiting for that price drop though ugh!!

the guy at the Southlake one was very polite and said that he thinks the drops come mondays, but it seems there hasnt been one in a while

Same here. I have been tracking copies of Too Human and End War at my local target. This is the second week that prices haven't dropped on those two games. I did note however the Tomb Raider did go down to 29.98. I also saw the SingStar Abba (27.98) and Rock evloution (13.48). I also noted the PS3 PS2 memeory adapter was also on clearance.
 
Picked up Fracture PS3 for $9.98 and FFIV(DS) for $19.98. TR:U Showed up as 'Not in System", but the price tag said $29.99...Wonder if I got there too early. You know, in the transition between markdowns?

Target on Addison Av? They had 3 Singstars ($27.98) that I was waiting on a drop for a few weeks ago, and yesterday, they were down to 2. No drop on them yet.
