Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Ok so just got back from the target in Dallas on Lemmon and 75 and picked up Demon's Souls for $15. They have 2 copies left. Also got Ratchet and Clank for $7.50 but it was the last one. They had some PS3 scene it for $10 and Monster Hunter Freedom DS for $7.50 and a bunch of others I don't remember prices for.

I couldn't find anything good at the target. Really wanted to get Demon's Souls (which I didn't see) and L4D:GOTY (rang up at $30). They did have Lego Rockband on clearance for like $25 or $20. They had other games on clearance but they were all expensive except PS2 games.

Has anyone seen the MW2 HE any lower than 55.98 recently? I know someone posted a week or so ago about them being $39.98 but I'm wondering if anyone has seen this across the board.

If you weren't donating Lips #1 Hits I was going to ask if you'd sell it to me, lol. My girlfriend has been eyeing that bundle for ages and I missed out on it at 29.98 at my Target.

Went to the local super clearance targets to check out the deals, for some reason NOTHING good dropped
(Re5 was still 20, Guitar Hero Smash Hits actually went up to 27, Fight Night 4 was 20, along with a bunch of DS games still at the 13 price mark, and Rockband Beatles 2 for 180, and some other Band Set bundle for 125)

All of the Demon Souls were sold out, im guessing some hoarder grabbed them all >_>, still not planning on revealing the location due to the amount of hoarders i know that live in my area

its cool on the demon souls my dad just called he was in butler pa. got demon souls $14.xx and TH Ride 29.xx 360,said they had beatles for 60 somethin,told him to go back and get it,dont like rock band but friends do. they had 2 more demon souls and quite a few rides but only the 360 ones were on clearence.

The 360 version was marked today at my Target. Fight Night Round 4 (19.98) and Guitar Hero Smash Hits (19.98) also joined it. Rock Band was $29.98. All 360, maybe PS3 is next?

Went to Target today to check on Batman on PC but still $34.xx Lego Rock Band for 360 was sold out so I assume it dropped to the $12 range. Saw a bunch of Shaun White Snowboarding for 360 for $3.74 at 75% off, thought about that one, even if it terrible I could probably use a new game case for some disc only game I may have lying around.

Thanks. You would think RE5 was the worst game ever, I mean they literally had 20+ copies of the game at my local Target. Usually the vast majority of games are gone by the time they hit $20-$25 range but luckily RE5 is holding strong.

Colma, CA Target has Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for $14.98. CoD MW2 Hardened editions are still at 55.98 in all 3 Bay Area Targets though =(.

I checked the Mt. Laurel and Cherry Hill stores here in South Jersey, looking for Tony Hawk Ride. They were all in the regular non-clearance area and marked full price. I used the price scanner to double check and it came up as $120. If anyone sees Ride for $30 in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area, please post here and let me know. I'd greatly appreciate it.

I haven't seen Ride or DJ Hero on clearance in the Monmouth county area yet Sam. The stores I go to have gone super slow with this round of clearance. Still seeing Beatles at 174 etc.

Hit the other local Target(I'm not sure of how many people from this area use CAG, so Im afraid of revealing the location) and like my other Target, they had zero Demon Souls, zero MW2HE, and Tony Hawk Ride was at 119. Mildly displeased, but I think I've been spoiled by Toys R Us' markdown system.

I didn't even know Tony Hawk Ride was on clearance, I got to check for that tomorrow. I know it got bad reviews but it looks like it is fun at least on the easy setting where the game is on rails.

My target has also been in the pits lately. Everyone still at 75% except for the assload of crappy DS games and Star Wars for PS3. They did move over RE5 for Xbox at 27.xx. At least it was something new for the store.
