Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Most of the time it's on Monday. If there isn't any new clearance, it's likely that it's still staged in the backroom, waiting for someone to take it to the sales floor.

Same for me, I took it over to the scanner to check even though the shelf tag said $119.99. Same with DJ Hero on PS2 that some reported to be $49.98, it is still $99.99 at the store I checked.

The Target in Jones Valley, Huntsville, AL had Force Unleashed (360) for 4.XX and nothing much else. Second best thing was My Stop Smoking Coach (DS) for 7.XX. If I were a smoker, I would have pounced on it.

I actually saw the price go up on L4D GOTY PH at the Streetsboro, OH Target. It was $7.48 last week, and now it's $29.99

Those 7.48 drops seem to only last a week or two before jumping back up (Assassin's Creed, Fable II, L4D). It's like some weird sku reset or something.

It's funny you mentioned those three. I was able to get all those, but when I would go back in the following weeks I scanned them to see if they dropped any lower and then find out that they go back to $29.99.

I know that the Orange Box was at one time on clearance but it is now at $19.99 or whatever it costs. Same goes for PGR4, the Darkness, and a few other titles.
 
Not a huge racing fan but got Midnight Club La for the PS3 for $7.48. There were like 40 left I'd prefer the 360 but they had only 4 and they were 14.98. This was at the North Anchorage location
 
Wow, one of my local targets is pure fail >_>. Rejacked the price of Bakugan (360), back up to 34.99 from 24.99 (Was 24.99 just yesterday)

Also, Guitar Hero Smash Hits went back up from 19.99 to 27.99 at practically every location.

Still waiting for RE5 to drop below 19.98 though =/
 
Damn... stopped by target today and found out they are finally updating their clearance sections more often now. Found the latest advance wars for $8 and orange bar hotel dusk for $5 (alot of em!!! 0_0 )... didnt get em but I feel i might have passed on something good even though I can pick em up tomorrow.

Copies of peggle DS for $5 as well...

If anyone wants me to pick one of these up lemme know (dont pm me) and I'll try.
 
I checked my Target on Weber/Boughton in Naperville Illinois and they had absolutely nothing. The prices of the few clearance games were still at the higher end. I already have Demons Souls (I got it the day it came out and do not regret it) but I was hoping to find some to trade out to you guys so that you could experience the awesome game that it is.. but I had no luck. sorry!
 
After dinner I stopped by the Target in New Albany, Indiana. I picked up "Advanced Wars: Days of Ruin" (DS) for $7.48. I found it on a clearance rack in the section near toiletries, but there was also another one back in the clearance section in Electronics. I also saw several copies of "Fight Night: Round 4" (360) for $19.99, "Guitar Hero: Smash Hits" (PS3/360) $19.99, and "Singstar: Queen" (PS3) $19.99. The "Singstar" has been $19.99 for almost a month. I'm not a big Queen fan, but have been watching it hoping it would drop to $9.99 since I need some new songs to play.
 
Picked up Shaun White for 360 for 3.74. I would love to find the wii version for 4.98, but the cheapest I could find it was for 9.98 and I'm sure it will sell before it drops any lower.

I also picked up the Nerf N-Strike boxset the Wii for 7.48. I just played it and the game is actually pretty fun. The graphics look like they were from a crappy looking dreamcast game, but overall it's alright just because the gun is so good. I actually like the gun better than the wii zapper or the wii perfect shot. It's too bad someone took the nerf darts out of the box, but for $7.48 I can't really complain.

I just noticed the nerf n strike numbers arent in the OP. They are 207 26 0213.
 
I went to most of the Houston Targets today. No Rides for cheap or much of anything else, but I did nab Lips #1 Hits for 360 for $15.

Charleston, SC Target had a bunch of Shaun White Snowboarding (PS3) for $3.74 (the 360 version was 14.99). They also have complete Beatles Rock Band for 360 and PS3 for $124.98 and RE5 (360) for $27.98. Grabbed a copy of Ghostbusters (PS2) for $4.98 for the kiddies...

At the McCandless, PA Target north of Pittsburgh I picked up :360: Gears of War 2 (not the GOTY version) for $7.48 and :360: GTA: Episodes from Liberty City for $19.98. :D
 
I know it isn't suppose to be good but I would love to try out TH: Ride for myself. Plus a sequel is in the works so maybe the sophomore effort will be better. All the Targets by me have all system still marked at $119.99 without a clearance sticker in site. God Florida Targets suck. It has been nearly 6 months since I actually got a game at decent price there. *sigh*

I normally don't mind because I pass by 4 of them on the way to see my GF and went down Westheimer to do what we were doing last night which had 3 more on it.

I justified it for her because I bought her some cheap Valentine's Day candy. :D
 
They had Fire Emblem and Advanced Wars for the DS at our Target and many of the Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits games. Also, an old Devil Summoner PS2 game.

Definitely got one myself for 19.98, but most places I've seen them are still 27.98
 
Both my local stops had dozens of RE:5 and FN: Round 4 for $19.98 ... hoping they'll drop next week.
I didn't see any GoW2, even in the case ...
 
The Target in Metairie has demon's souls (ps3) for $14.97. There are three copies left. I'm gonna leave them there until Friday, if there are still some left I'm putting them on Ebay.
 
sigh... Ride rings up for $120 and the clearance shelf is completely barren expect for high school music sign alongs, strategy guides, a dvd/vhs combo, and less than 10 clearance games.
 
I've been trying to get a copy of Demon's Soul and have checked my local target multiple times unfortunately my target does not carry it at all (I've checked from November till Now haven't seen it yet). All I can do is drool in jealously about other people getting copies for $15 and wait a few years until retailers drop it to a lower price =/ I guess that's just my luck...
 
I did the asin search on the link provided on the op and there's apparently no demon's souls in the Richmond, nova, even the tidewater area :(((((

I'm right there with you. The problem with waiting on Atlus games, though, is that they never ship lots of copies. So they're already difficult to find, even before they get clearanced to, say $15.
 
Not many Target's carry this game. I lucky enough scored last 4 copies & do price adjustment from $39.98 down $19.98 each instead $14.98 each.
