Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Oh, quick note to anyone whose genuinely interested or just wants a cheap 360 game for achievements. Bakugan only costs 12.48 at most locations now (For 360, PS3 version is still 20), its a pretty damn fun game, and the trade in value at Game-stop is currently around 8$ before the 60% bonus.

(I personally only watched the show a few times, and its a very easy game to get into, not complicated like Yugioh or Magic or something)

Wow this the busiest I've seen this thread.

I went to Target at Lennox in Colmbus, OH today. I had had my eyes on GH: Metallica for a while and it was still $19.xx today along with GH: Smash Hits. About the only game to drop was Sonic and the Black Knight to $7.48.

Anyone else see GH: Metallica today?

I had the copy of Demon's Souls that I brought back from the Mechanicsburg, PA Target last month checked again today. Still $59.99. I guess it'll be $60 till it magically disappears someday when it drops on a week that I don't check Target.

. I really wish I had waited and taken it to the one Target that always bumps clearance items to 50% off when they restock them.

Lucky nothing. I brought that damned copy of Demon's Souls back from a store that already had it on clearance and had I been back to said store since then I possibly could've grabbed a copy for $15-20 by now probably.

But I only get down that way for work and we haven't been going to that auction as of late. Plus, it's a 10 mile walk from the one auction I go to to the store and back to the auction and the last time I did it I was sore for a week after.

That's quite alright. What amazes me though is since Atlus put their name on the damned cover(the game was originally from From Software, makers of the Armored Core series)it seems like the frickin' price hasn't dropped anywhere as of yet.

Hopefully if Gamestop has a B2G1 coming up sometime this month(like is rumored) I'll be able to snag a used copy of Demon's Souls, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Just Cause 2 for $100 total.

You were better off just keeping both games. HOURS upon HOURS of entertainment traded away for a GoW clone that only lasts only 5-6 hours. I would know I played and beat it.

Demon's Souls for $14.98 you say? Why is it that my f'n Targets suck so damned bad? I wish someone would actually have a few copies around that price for trade(that didn't want like $10 over what they paid) as I'd snap up one in a second.

Grabbed Spectrobes for $4.98 today. Not expecting a lot out of it, but the reviews make it sound like it could be entertaining for at least a little while.

Other than that, saw Lego Indiana Jones 2 for $7.48 and Lego Batman for $4.98. Passed on both (already have Batman on the 360, and not sure that I care about Indiana Jones enough to want a second game when I've never even finished the first). Not much else that hasn't already been reported here.

awesome finds today picked up beatles rock band for 63 guitar hero smash hits for 10 plus I had the 5 doller off guitar hero games coupon and fire emblem ds for 7.50. was going to buy band hero for 50 but was gone when I walked back.

argh. I'd jump on Lego Batman at that price. 3 Targets today and they all had a ripe duece in the clearance section.

I was hoping to find Fire Emblem for $7.48 but all the stores seem sold out. Even my special Target which overwent a huge makeover, and seems to be getting a fresh grocery area in the near future. I did find Midnight Club 4 on the 360 for $7.48 and Fallout 3 on the PS3 for $9.98 though. I figured $10 was my bite point for Fallout.

I picked up RB: Beatles (PS3) today for the $62 ish at Charlotte Rivergate SuperTarget. They had 1 more PS3 and 4 X360's left at about 8pm tonight. I didn't think I would be buying more instruments (last time I got any was for Guitar Hero 3) but I think it will be cool to have the drums/mic......anybody know a cheap way to get the cymbals or if they are even worth it?

*On a side note...can't believe people paid $250 for this...$60 though seems about right for me.
