Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

The Legend of EL HOARDO as told by Strell
No cankle too big and no score too small,
The one and only EL HOARDO.

He'll steal your stash - gonna take it all,
That's the one - EL HOARDO.

He's gonna run down all the aisles
and snatch up all the loot,
And he's feeling really confident
in his nipple protection suit!

Awesome sideburns and a dapper mask
He's at your local store,
Gonna clean out everything
And then go back for more!

Who's the guy in the Star Trek shades?
He's the man they call EL HOARDO.

His boots are secretly roller blades,
There he goes! EL HOARDO!

He's got a cape and it's totally sweet,
A flash in red and white,
Calls his fanny pack his utility belt,
He's ready for a discount fight!

You'd never think he could run so fast,
With a gut of giant size,
Asks all the ladies if they'd like a ride
On his Starship Enterprise!

What's that sound comin' down the lane?
It can only be EL HOARDO.

His stubby legs are gonna bring the pain,
Brace yourselves - EL HOARDO!

He packs a sword, it's a replica,
Like Zorro in disguise,
Gonna leave an H scratched on the wall,
Then he'll move those ten ton thighs!

Knows all the price drops all the time,
Has inhalers to survive,
Lives in a basement at his parents house,
At the age of thirty five!

That's the one who got your penny guide,
The stallion called EL HOARDO.

He's got his Rascal parked outside,
That Man-of-Men EL HOARDO.

EL HOOOOOOOARDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

ElHoardo1.jpg

"You just got...EL HOARDO'D!" __________________

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Lucked out and found a blu-Ray copy of Omega Man for $4.96, Big Brain Academy for $7.48, Resident Evil Archives (the 1st 1) for 7.48!

One of the local targets had no Beatles RB sets, but Beatles Rockback for the Wii (game only) was at a "Temp price cut" of $40. Also, Band Hero for the Wii was marked at $159.99 with a "Temp Price Cut", as well.

That is a good day right there.

picked up punch out for the wii today at the target in cutler ridge , florida
for 24.00 not bad i had heard of it being 8 bucks in sams club but ive had no luck so i bit on this one . they had about 6 copys of it and 1 copy of transformers for the
wii and a stack of batman AA for the pc no luck on the rockband for ps3 .
It did. Picked one up for $12.48.

Also picked up the Beatles Rock Band Limited Edition (X360) for $62.48. Suh-weet!
picked up the same two items. Great Deal

Grabbed a copy of Fallout 3 (PS3 non-GotY) PS3 from the Winchester, VA Target (the one being remodeled) for $9.98. They still have approximately 16 copies at the same price.

Also grabbed G-Force (PS3) for $9.98... still pondering my decision to purchase.
What is wrong with you? -_- I would've snatched one in a heartbeat if my Target had those.
I've seen it too, but personally I've skipped it because I've already got too many plastic instruments sitting around. I'm waiting for the game-only version to turn up cheap somewhere.

Wife said she would kill me if I purchased anymore silly plastic instruments!
This.

Did the Beatles PS3 outsell the 360 version or something? Since they were put on clearance I only saw the 360 version in my area. I wish I could snag the PS3 version since I already have lots of songs on my lead platform.
From the videogame website vgchartz.com (worldwide unit sales, although most sales are US - take with a grain of salt):

Wii 1,080,000
Xbox360 800,000
PS3 570,000
No, but I didn't check Sherwood, Hillsboro, Gateway, Fairview, PDX and Jantzen Beach stores though. You can try those. Are you after the PS3 or 360 version?

If any local CAG got the PS3 version but looking for the 360 version, and wanna swap (assuming your PS3 one is still factory sealed), PM me.
After checking Hillsboro & Tanasborne this morning, I checked Sherwood, & Wilsonvillle. You said you got the last TB:RB set at Wilsonville, but I wanted to double check for other items.

No TB:RB anywhere :(

P.S. I've been looking for :360: copy of that BTW. Yeah its too bad, I can't really waste any more gas looking around for anymore :360:TB:RB sets. I already own the game so I really didn't want to spend more then the $63 price point for the set. If anybody spots on on the east side of PDX side of town (gateway, janzen, portland, vancouver) please post it, thanks :)

Was Punch Out w/numbchuck, or by its self?

I decided to stop by Target after work, not expecting to find anything. They had 2 Beatles RB LE's for 360. They were not marked for clearance. I grabbed one and scanned it and it was $62.48 so I bought it. One left at Super Target on Hillsborough in Tampa, FL.
Picked up Bad Company 2 earlier in the day, so couldn't really justify spending another $50 on games. And I either wouldn't play it much or end up trying to flip it.
Take it back and go to Toys R Us, NOW!
any so cal cags have any luck findng gta episodes for $10? I checked the west covina targe' but no luck, still full price. I checked the price scanner eith the upc, is there anyway I can tell if it's gonna drop feom there. I remember someone saying if it had letters ncf or something then it might drop soon but I don't remember what that was exactly
Nope, don't waste your time with any of the west LA stores. The copy I picked up at $39.99 yesterday was returned, after visiting 5 other Targets and checking the price on the price scanners at each of these locations - all were $39.99:bomb:.

Seriously, fuck Target so hard for these bullshit clearances that it seems those in or around major cities get totally screwed on. Couldn't find a God damn thing I wanted on clearance - no GTA Chinatown Wars, no MW2HE, no RB:B PS3...FAIL!

One of the electronics workers said, when I asked if they had any PS3 versions in stock, said that Target ordered far more X360 copies than PS3, by a magnitude of 4 or 5. That particular store originally had 10 copies on X360, and only 2 on PS3. Whether that is reflective of the entire company, just my district, or just this store in particular, who knows.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, "I seen" at the store at La Cienega and Jefferson (the ghetto store located on the site of the old Fedco that was famously looted on camera during the 92 LA riots) had literally 50+ copies of Midnight Club LA PS3 on clearance for I think $9.98, or maybe $7.48. These were in a backside endcap of an aisle halfway through the CD/DVD section, pretty random and far from the other game clearance endcap in/near the game section.

Found a Beatles Rock Band LE (360) sitting up front, abandoned in a cart. Asked employee to scan, 62.48... Sold!

Don't really know what to do with it though. It's up on craigslist right now, but if it won't sell I'll trade if anyone wants it.

If it's PS3, I'll take it. Where you located?

Picked up Beatles RB LE for 360 for ~$50 because I compained about the box being ripped. After waiting for a few minutes, they gave me the extra 20% off of the $62.
Picked up Bad Company 2 earlier in the day, so couldn't really justify spending another $50 on games. And I either wouldn't play it much or end up trying to flip it.

Take it back and go to Toys R Us, NOW!
...for PC.

Found and picked up Beatles RB LE at 62.48. Box was still marked at $175.

RE5 and GH: smash hits still at $20.

Rosemont, IL branch. One PS3 RB:Beatles in an endcap clearance for $62.xx if anyone is interested. Tucked behind a TV box and is hard to see that it is so cheap! If anyone from chicago has seen any MW2:hardened, GOW2:GOTY, Demon Souls or Tekken 6 please let me know. My MW2 has been stolen and I am desperate for another copy. I tried four stores today to no avail :(

Went back to Hillsboro after talking to a guy that said they still had xbox360 Band Hero set (changed my mind), after I got there it was gone :( OK fess up who bought it!?!

My Target has nothing but Fight Night Round 4 at 19.98

I typed in the DPCI for MW2 HE and it has a 19.98 price .. but go figure, they sold out at 55.98 a week prior. Idiots.
Yeah, it's poor grammar but mines (though wrong) fits logically with "yours" and I can see how kids make that mistake. (Kids interestingly enough when making grammatical mistakes usually do it logically. e.g. I falled, I sleeped.)

But "I seen" makes no sense at all. Not to be offensive but it makes me scratch my head.

Now to get back on topic:

I too have seen an overabundance of Spectrobes Beyond the Portals DS at $4.98. If anything might possibly reach the 90% point, it's this game and HSM3 DS. I picked one up for shits and giggles and to add to my crack collection.
I have seen -> I've seen -> I seen.
What's so hard about colloqualisms? You must hate music :p

Grabbed the Beatles RB bundle for $62.48. They've had them on clearance for a month or two, glad they finally knocked them down to a price that doesn't break the bank.

There was one more left, Chesapeake Square mall, Chesapeake VA, if any local CAG is interested.

You cannot excuse ignorance under the guise of a colloquialism.

There's a difference between "straight away" or "sit a spell' or "yall" or the horrendous "yinz" and poor grammar.

I scrounged up 1 copy each of Midnight Club: LA CE ($7.48), Game Party 2 ($3.74) and Sim Animals ($7.48).

just bought beatles rock band for 62.48 in hollywood, fl. i had one of the employees search for targets in south florida that might have anymore and was told only one in north miami supposedly had 2 in stock in case anyone in the area was still looking.

Anyone find anything decent in Orange County?
Northern OC has nada except Fire Emblem, Spectrobes, and Bakugan's (360 and Wii).

I did find a few more stores with Prototype, but they were still ~$27.

One Target had a bunch of FFXIII 360's...not sure if they were for sale yet though.

I noticed someone bought up all the Fight night Round 4's for $20...kinda weird.

Found a Beatles Rock Band for 62.48. Pretty sweet pick up. Also got:
GI Joe DS - 7.48
WWE SvR 2009 DS - 4.98
SW: TFU DS - 4.98
Marvel Super Hero Squad PSP - 7.48
All and all a pretty successful trip to Target.
Band Hero at 49.99 is as low as it goes right? Didn't know the original msrp.
NO some have found/bought it as low as $25.XX

Wood Dale, IL Target (15 minutes west of O'hare down Irving Park Rd) had like five more Beatles Rock Band sets at $62.48 left after I grabbed mine today (along with some Peptobismol, food poisoning ugh). Didn't think it'd drop any lower or there'd be any left next time round so just went for it.

The Irvine Target on Jamboree/Irvine Blvd. had a couple of copies of Midnight Club LA for $7.48 last night.

Last night picked up
:360:
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2- 14.98
Resident Evil 5- 9.98

I know its common knowledge, but guys scan the bar codes if you can, regardless of price posted. The only reason I got MUA2 for 14.98 is that it was still stickered at 41.98. Folks just take that red price tag as law. At least round here they do, so always check.

Oh and PC Batman AA has been at 7.xx or 14.xx here for a while here, didnt see it last night, but I don't recall which Target I saw it. Will check the other one tomorrow....maybe.

I picked up Gears of War 2 GOTY Edition for $7.48! Overall it was a great day for me w/ that, the TRU Bad Company 2 "deal", & finding a Fable 2 penny guide @ Best Buy!
