Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

The Legend of EL HOARDO as told by Strell
No cankle too big and no score too small,
The one and only EL HOARDO.

He'll steal your stash - gonna take it all,
That's the one - EL HOARDO.

He's gonna run down all the aisles
and snatch up all the loot,
And he's feeling really confident
in his nipple protection suit!

Awesome sideburns and a dapper mask
He's at your local store,
Gonna clean out everything
And then go back for more!

Who's the guy in the Star Trek shades?
He's the man they call EL HOARDO.

His boots are secretly roller blades,
There he goes! EL HOARDO!

He's got a cape and it's totally sweet,
A flash in red and white,
Calls his fanny pack his utility belt,
He's ready for a discount fight!

You'd never think he could run so fast,
With a gut of giant size,
Asks all the ladies if they'd like a ride
On his Starship Enterprise!

What's that sound comin' down the lane?
It can only be EL HOARDO.

His stubby legs are gonna bring the pain,
Brace yourselves - EL HOARDO!

He packs a sword, it's a replica,
Like Zorro in disguise,
Gonna leave an H scratched on the wall,
Then he'll move those ten ton thighs!

Knows all the price drops all the time,
Has inhalers to survive,
Lives in a basement at his parents house,
At the age of thirty five!

That's the one who got your penny guide,
The stallion called EL HOARDO.

He's got his Rascal parked outside,
That Man-of-Men EL HOARDO.

EL HOOOOOOOARDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

ElHoardo1.jpg

"You just got...EL HOARDO'D!" __________________

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

With this past week's drops on Bayonetta virtually everywhere methinks I'm going to regret biting at $34. Good to see so many PS3 drops recently, about time it got some love.

thats a good remote strell. i LOVE my harmony remotes. i have an 880 and a 360 model. the shell design on the 360 and that 720 are much better than the 600 and 800 models the buttons are easier to differentiate and its more comfortable overall.
the 720 also has a chargign dock. good deal.
Harmony 720 remote for ~$37. Holla.

Does anyone have an opinion on this thing? It's supposed to be an IR->RF receiver. The idea is that you can hide your components with it, because it transmits the IR signal from your remote via its RF receivers, thereby allowing you to send signals "through" doors/enclosures/etc. So you can have a cleaner entertainment center, or hide stuff from little kids, etc.

It's on clearance at for about $13 or so, and the reviews I'm seeing appear to be good. Just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience.

I saw 2 Westinghouse 20" LCD monitors for 75% off - I think they were $50...
Do you happen to have the DPCI?
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 was $15 at my nearest Target... Also saw Prototype for PS3 at $10. Picked up Ninja Gaiden myself and almost bit on prototype, but I'd rather have it for the 360. Also saw some Rockband: Beatles.
damn.... I'd love to pick up both of those games... I'm going to see if my Nearby targets have dropped anything for me.
Xbox Memory cards marked down further to 14.xx Maybe if they goto 5$ ill pick one up just for worms hope this helps happy hunting
Yeah, get it for the game, not the memory card. Next XBOX360 update allows up to 2 USB flash storage devices up to 32GB each. That's up to 64GB of flash storage, which renders the 512MB memory card nearly 100% useless. How MS can keep charging so much for HDD accessories is beyond me. Note I have a 20GB and 120GB HDD and a 512MB memory card (for moving between systems)

I'm pretty sure its only 16GB each storage device, for 32GB total, and the update is available now.

My Target still has Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for $59.99. Was NGS2 marked down at a lower price before it reached $14.98?

Just stopped by a Target on my way home from work. Here some clearance that I can remember:

- 500 GB WD External HDD $49.98 (Many of these)
- Monster Component Cable for PS2 $12.98 (Will work on PS3)
- Monster Component Cable for Xbox/PS2 $13.98
- Psyclone PS3 starter kit $20.98
- Lexar 4gb Duo Pro memory stick for PSP $19.98
- 10' USB Charge Cable $7.98
- Wireless Rock Band 2 Guitar for PS2/PS3 $17.98

That's all I can remember. Didn't pick up anything as I don't really have any interested in any of those. I saw many Ninja Gaiden Signma 2 for PS3 but they were all in the case with the MSRP price on it. May be I should have it check. I don't mind picking it up for $15. Hopefully Bayonetta will drop to the $15 range soon so I can pick it up =D

Man, I'm not even gonna waste time checking out Targets anymore....

oh who am I kidding, of course I will.

Saw Fable II at 20.98... will grab it at $14.98 if it's still there.

That's about it.

Aside from a DMC4 guide at $16.99 in the clearance endcap.

the 720 also has a chargign dock. good deal.
i have a Harmony 550, and minus the non-color screen, the remote is by far the best universal I've ever had. Really no need to upgrade... and there may never be a reason to.

Was able to score RE5 PS3 for $20.98. None of the local stores had dropped any of the other PS3 titles yet.

BTW, any chance of RE5 dropping again at a later date?

I have a Harmony 510 that I picked up on Black Friday at Best Buy last year, and it's terrible. For some reason, despite the fact that I have it specifically programmed for what mode (HDMI, component, etc.) to put the TV in and what input to select on the receiver for each setting, it seems to randomly pick them. Sometimes it gets it right, sometimes it doesn't. Often the devices are already on the right settings from the last time I used them, and it changes them to the wrong ones. It usually manages to fix it when I hit the "help" button, but still, it's annoying. I know that it's one of the lower models, but after my experience with it, I don't feel like I need to deal with a Harmony remote ever again.
scored the 500gb WD drive for $17.48
Score!! That's still $55 at my local target... still holding out for it..

yeah i wasnt even shopping for one at the time. i was just getting some supplies for my dorm and decided i'd check out the clearance. only one was marked right, the rest all had the $48.xx price point still
Harmony 720 remote for ~$37.

I picked one of these up for $37 there yesterday too. I have to spend tonight setting it up but just by reading reviews it looks like it should be pretty nice.
$15 for Demon's souls,,, damn I missed out!!!
Yes I just bought a PS3 a few weeks ago and I haven't seen it at any Target for any price.

If anyone has seen this game on clearance in Orange County (or even LA county) in California, I'd be grateful.
I would love LEGO Rock Band :ps3: if anyone has a spare copy.
my target on new jersey have like 20 copies of that at 14.98, i would love to get demo souls for 15 :(
Harmony 720 remote for ~$37. Holla.
Thank you I just picked up the only 720 my target had for $37. I had my eye on this last week but it had just been clearanced down to $104. Didn't think it would drop to 75% off so quickly. Saw your post and went by target after work and found it. :bouncy:
went to my local target. demon's souls and sigma 2 are still going for 59.99
Same for me. I even had them open the glass and scan Sigma 2, 59.99

I told them my brother found one on clearance for $15 and asked if they would match if I brought in his receipt. They had over a dozen copies.....and would not match. Employee seemed annoyed....but I could give a "cuss". You don't like retail, get a different job. This man was likely older than my father...and mad at the world for his current employment status. Sorry for the rant, but I am a FIRM believer in proper etiquette.

Norman Super Target is wiped clean of anything worth a crap 360/PS3-related.

Only a ton of copies of Beatles Rock Band that I didn't care to get a price on.

If anyone picks up a Fable II Platinum Hits and wants to trade, CML
. I'm also willing to send Paypal Gift (so no fees) for it, as well.

I have noticed that certain games these days don't go on clearance at all. This isn't a YMMV price thing, it's a flat out absence of the deal. Fire Emblem DS, for example, never went on sale here, and it's still in the glass case for retail MSRP.

Has this always been the case? Curious.

Target clearance has always been YMMV, but this used to be rare in my experience. These days it seems quite common.

If anyone can snag a copy of Sigma 2 I would gladly pay for it + shipping here. I want to own it so bad for that price, I wouldn't even dream of flipping it.
Target doesn't price match right? So what do the number of copies have to do with it.
yes they do, well at least the ones in the bay area, they will match a competitors ad, ive seen the sign in the electronics dept, never really too much of it tho

couldn't be happier with a score I made at a Target I never go to b/c I had to travel to my hometown. Wasn't even going to stop by..

:360: Lego Rock Band - $12.48
:wii: 2000 Ponts - $9.98
:wii: Wii Fit Board Mad Catz Travel Case - $7.48

Saw
:360: Rock Band the M.I.C. - $14.98 (!!)

I know the first 2 are old news, but you don't understand..Target's in the big city of Houston have been so dry/bare w/ little replenishment. I always thought the clearanced Wii Points was a 'myth'!! Lego Rock Band was even out of system, luckily it was still stickered $12.48 b/c that's what he typed in. Oh, and now I'm a little upset I didn't know about this Harmony..I've had a 550 for 2 years, they are heaven in a remote (when they want to work right )

I've kept an eye out for Demon's Souls ever since the first mention of it's clearance, but none of my stores ever had it in stock (not even a price tag).

When I hit up a couple of other stores today, I found one copy. It was in those new display cases without any price tag or clearance sticker. I asked for a price check and it was $29.98. I snatched it up as it was the only copy and I had never seen it in stock at any of my local stores.

The only postive sign out of all of this is that if your local stores never had it before, there's a chance that it might get shipped to your store. Of course in might not be the $14.98 price.

The other store I went to just put Beatles RB (game only), GH5, and GH Van Halen on clearance for $30-35. They were all for the 360 version.

Also, I've noticed some other posts about the Monster cables that work on both the PS2 & Xbox 1 mention component cables. As a heads up to anyone looking for these cables be carefull. The only ones I have ever seen that are these combo cables are actually S-video and Composite. In other words they aren't COMPONENT cables.

I almost picked some up until I realized what they actually were. The tricky part is that the Clearance sticker is placed over the Composite word so all you see is S-video and Comp. Every store that I've seen have these are stickered in the same way.

Just double check and make sure you're getting what you really want.

Fire emblem shadow dragon you mean? It's been clearanced for $15 and under here but all of them were snatched up.

Got Wheelman PS3 for 7.50 today. It didn't ring up so the checkout lady had to call electronics. I was hoping they'd quote me a good price, and that was just about the right price for me. I figured as such since this was clearanced out a while ago, but I think my Target is doing some spring cleaning.
