Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

The Legend of EL HOARDO as told by Strell
No cankle too big and no score too small,
The one and only EL HOARDO.

He'll steal your stash - gonna take it all,
That's the one - EL HOARDO.

He's gonna run down all the aisles
and snatch up all the loot,
And he's feeling really confident
in his nipple protection suit!

Awesome sideburns and a dapper mask
He's at your local store,
Gonna clean out everything
And then go back for more!

Who's the guy in the Star Trek shades?
He's the man they call EL HOARDO.

His boots are secretly roller blades,
There he goes! EL HOARDO!

He's got a cape and it's totally sweet,
A flash in red and white,
Calls his fanny pack his utility belt,
He's ready for a discount fight!

You'd never think he could run so fast,
With a gut of giant size,
Asks all the ladies if they'd like a ride
On his Starship Enterprise!

What's that sound comin' down the lane?
It can only be EL HOARDO.

His stubby legs are gonna bring the pain,
Brace yourselves - EL HOARDO!

He packs a sword, it's a replica,
Like Zorro in disguise,
Gonna leave an H scratched on the wall,
Then he'll move those ten ton thighs!

Knows all the price drops all the time,
Has inhalers to survive,
Lives in a basement at his parents house,
At the age of thirty five!

That's the one who got your penny guide,
The stallion called EL HOARDO.

He's got his Rascal parked outside,
That Man-of-Men EL HOARDO.

EL HOOOOOOOARDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

"You just got...EL HOARDO'D!" __________________

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.
I found a single 360 Memory card at a Target near me but the thing WONT SCAN.

It says 'Item not found'...asked the employee he couldnt figure it out either and said he'd need to call the manager.

I was actually in a hurry yesterday so i figured I'd deal with it later if at all...

What would happen in this instance? The thing has a sticker but its half ripped off. So you cant see the price just the DCP or whatever its called...(both me and the employee typed that number in the scanner/computer...still says 'Item not found')

What would they do in this instance? I'd like to pick it up for about 7.98 but I dont want to go through the hassle for them to tell me 20.98.
Items not found are supposed to be salvaged (donated) but since it's on the floor they have to sell it to you. If this happens, find someone with a PDA and tell them to use the upcs function on it. It's under pricing but I forgot what it was called. It should give you the regular price and a sale price if it was on sale. Since these are items not found, the regular price should read 0.00 and the sale price will either be 50, 75, or if you're lucky, 90% off. According to my manager workers aren't allowed to buy salvage but uh I got a netbook for 75% off this way a looong time ago...hahahaha
the HDD at both of my local Targets were at the full msrp of $99.99...

also seems like all the games are completely cleaned out...
thats the wrong one... that's either the 1tb external or the 500gb portable.

$0.72 Easter Snickers and Reese's made it worth the trip.

Sarasota, FL just had Fable II for $12.XX and a bunch on PS2 games in the $10-15 range. PS2 controllers are down to $9.99, nobody wants them.

i went to my nearest target and they had the HD for 35 dollars and had 3 in stock but couldn't find any of them. i then went to one a little farther away and they had one for 52 dollars. my question is, can i take the hard drive to the target nearest to me, return it and get my 52 dollars back, and then rebuy it for their price of 35 dollars???

Been a while since I'd been to Target. Only found 1 clearance game, PSP Final Fantasy for $10.49. Couldnt find any other games or the hard drives on clearance. Really picked over.

Usually you have to wait until they put it back on the shelf to buy it again after you return it. You could also hang on to the one you got and check back in on store 2 and see if they drop the price there. You can then return the $52 one after you purchase the $35. It really depends on how many hoops you want to jump through for $17. I'd rather pay a little more for something and get it than not get it at all.

Cadbury candy shell chocolate eggs are the only thing worthwhile in easter candy imho. Of course a week after easter, there is none to be found on clearance @ Target.

You've gotta jump on that like the day after easter.

So the Harddrive was $48.99 when I went :(. The Acer 21.5 LCD Monitor had a price of $189.99 but I didn't want to go through the trouble of getting an employee to scan it. Today was somewhat disappointing.
It's not a stupid question but this has been discussed in previous threads. It is a WD Elements 500GB External Hard that usually retails for $69.99  This guy found it for under $20. It's a great deal if you can find one
It scanned full price for me .
Not a gaming deal but any leftover Easter candy is now 90% off. Giant Chocolate Easter Eggs are like 49 cents.
good to know
theres a fandango/ Hershey's movie mail in rebate promo that can be had

Those packages might not contain the "specially marked package" with the needed token. Still, I will be heading out to my local Target later to pick up a few supplies, hopefully there will still be a stash of cheap candy to be bought

Went and checked around at my nearest targets the other day. Came up with a whole lot of nothing.

Clearance PS2?...FULL PRICE!
PS2 Control......FULL PRICE!
Punch Out.....FULL PRICE!
Bioshock LE...FULL PRICE!
GTA City Stories:pray:....STILL fucking FULL PRICE!!:bomb:
DSI Brain Age & Mario bundles......take a guess.
Wii Point cards....GONE!
Easter Candy.......still full price??? WTF!?!?

The only thing I saw was a couple of cheap unknown name little usb drives. A 4gb for $10 and a 8gb for $15.

I was hoping to find one of those DSI carrying cases they had on clearance a while ago, to no avail as well. Speaking of which does anyone know what they were called? The ones I saw looked like a little metallic brief case. I'm trying to see if I can find them somewhere else.

TRU has some clearanced DSI cases. I think they were at least 50% off

I picked up one of those for $8.xx. It' kind of flimsy, which surprised me since these things originally sold for $33.xx. I think I already threw away the packaging but I can look when I return to my home later on tonight.

If anybody would be kind enough to pick me up a demon's souls on clearance for $30 or less, I'd gladly pay cost + shipping. Been wanting to try that game out for some time, and I checked every target within a 30 mile radius of me today. Please P.M. me and we can work out the details. :) Thanks!

Again:

If anyone finds $4.98 Wii Points tomorrow and is willing to be super nice enough to pick me up some (no real limit) and will send codes for cost + little extra, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

Didn't know they were going down to ~$5. I just saw a stack of them for ~$14...was going to wait for them to hit $10. I am going to stop by everyday and see how many are left, when they do hit 10.

Oh, I dunno if they are going to 5. I just saw some at 10 and was hoping another drop might happen. And that if it does and someone wants to be awesome, they pick some up for me. Which may or may not happen, whatever. Just putting the word out.

I actually got to pull the price changes for tomorrow because the managers finally figured out how to write the schedules for the backroom. Anyways, nothing really worth mentioning at my store, except three 46 in Phillips HDTVs and a few 19.5 in Memorex TVs. No videogames came up.

Saw a season of Prison Break on Blu-ray for $27.xx as an online return.

Also picked up a bag of robins eggs(whoppers that are egg shaped) for $.63 :D

You rock. Thank you.

I'd like to apologize to my Target Clearance thread followers for getting your hopes up for clearances PS2s.

I went back to the store where I saw the clearanced system, and I saw that the PS2 on clearance and saw they only had 1 repackaged system on clearance.

I did find the Dexim BluePack S5 battery pack on clearance for $10. This can be used for any iPhone/iPod.

I just picked up Resident Evil 5 for 20.95 in Vista, CA. The Gold Edition seems to have pushed the original out to pasture.

just grabbed an xbox 360 512 mem card for 7.48. has that worms game on it.

not sure if it's been mentioned, but they also have a nextar gps on clearance for 59.99. it was in the case under the display model. i am pretty sure the price dropped today. they had a ton at evey target i've been to in the past week.

Logitech 720 was marked ~104 last week. Some have said they saw it for ~50 or even cheaper. the 620 model was ~70. Grrr. I am hoping to get the 720 for 50 or less myself, but time will tell.

Thanks for the info.

What's the price on the 19.5 Memorex? Possible to get a DPCI?

Picked up (Exton, PA):

Assassin's Creed: Discovery (DSi) - $7.48
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (DSi) - $7.48

They were the last copies.

They also had the two pack of Wii games (Goosebumps and iSpy) for $13.98. I'll wait for $4.xx and get that for Christmas stocking fillers for the kids.

I win!! I got the Beatles:RB Rickenbacker xbox guitar controller for only 24.98!!!
It wasn't even hidden where i left it anymore, I'm so lucky to just see it there on the shelf :)
Also picked up Wii Speak for 7.48 & WD external 500 gig drive for 17.48!
I'm now out of cash, so I guess this was as good a finale of my Target GAG time as I could hope for (at least until I get a job again).
Anyways thanks for the heads up on the WD HD I never check computers accessories, but did after I heard about the 17.48 price point. :)
