Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

The Legend of EL HOARDO as told by Strell
No cankle too big and no score too small,
The one and only EL HOARDO.

He'll steal your stash - gonna take it all,
That's the one - EL HOARDO.

He's gonna run down all the aisles
and snatch up all the loot,
And he's feeling really confident
in his nipple protection suit!

Awesome sideburns and a dapper mask
He's at your local store,
Gonna clean out everything
And then go back for more!

Who's the guy in the Star Trek shades?
He's the man they call EL HOARDO.

His boots are secretly roller blades,
There he goes! EL HOARDO!

He's got a cape and it's totally sweet,
A flash in red and white,
Calls his fanny pack his utility belt,
He's ready for a discount fight!

You'd never think he could run so fast,
With a gut of giant size,
Asks all the ladies if they'd like a ride
On his Starship Enterprise!

What's that sound comin' down the lane?
It can only be EL HOARDO.

His stubby legs are gonna bring the pain,
Brace yourselves - EL HOARDO!

He packs a sword, it's a replica,
Like Zorro in disguise,
Gonna leave an H scratched on the wall,
Then he'll move those ten ton thighs!

Knows all the price drops all the time,
Has inhalers to survive,
Lives in a basement at his parents house,
At the age of thirty five!

That's the one who got your penny guide,
The stallion called EL HOARDO.

He's got his Rascal parked outside,
That Man-of-Men EL HOARDO.

EL HOOOOOOOARDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

ElHoardo1.jpg

"You just got...EL HOARDO'D!" __________________

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

First off, none of those things are available any more, not that they were available at a lot of Targets in the first place. Secondly, in all seriousness, how is offering exact price and shipping going to entice anyone to help you out? Gas, time, effort, and shipping materials ain't free (not to mention the unpleasantness of dealing with lines at the post office during tax time).

Stopped by Target today and saw Bayonetta for the ps3 for 29.xx.

Also noticed the Transcend JetFlash V30 8GB Flash Drive 8gb usb for $9.48 and the 4gb one for $5.4x.

The 8gb one usually goes for 22+3 ship so seemed like a good deal for those that need. GL.

Picked up a 16 pack of AAA Duracell's for $2.48

if only they had some AA's for that price, I'd buy 'em out and be set with controller batteries for the next 10 years.

There are the only noteworthy things I saw tonight at 1 Target:

:ps3: Band Hero bundle $125.xx
:ps3: R&C:ToD $20.xx
:ps2: Band Hero bundle $111.xx
:ps2: DJ Hero bundle $58.xx or $59.xx

I was hoping to find a WD 500gb HD for cheap, but the only ones I saw were still at $49.xx:cry:

You can still marry it, you would just have to switch roles.

Went to Target today and got a couple sweet clearance items.
FF1 for PSP marked $3.74 (was charged $2.48)
Populous DS marked $7.48 (was charged $3.74)
Heavenly Guardian for PS2 marked $2.48
Not sure why they rang up less then they were marked, Maybe they been there for a while
Anyway 3 games for $10. SWEET!:)

they do, did u search for the AA's???

i got a bunch of AA's after alot of searching around

Last week I found a single copy of Demon's Souls for $30 and bought it.

Today, I hit up a couple of different stores and one of them had two copies of Demon's Souls for the same $30 price.

So it looks like slowly, but surely the stores around me are getting copies of the game in and immediately putting it on clearance.

This same store also got 3 copies of Il-2 Sturmovik
iconps3.gif
and put them out on clearance at $7.48
Was disappointed, no game bargains.

I was at two different Targets today. I saw the Rayovac I believe it was AA regcharger (4 battery charger) w/two batteries for $5.xx and there was a sticker on the box for a $5 mail in rebate. Not bad after rebate for .25c I might go back and get one how dumb I was to forget I could use this on my wireless controllers.
I saw one of these and picked it up. The rebate is good until 6/??/10 but if you read the fine print, you have to buy both the recharger and a set of Hybrid batteries so the rebate will not work with just the charger and the 2 batteries. You still have to fork over cash for a pack of batteries. They did have some hybrid battery 4 packs on clearance a few weeks ago for $7.48 but I was holding out until they got down to $5.24. They did get to that price but there were none left in any of the stores I frequent so I was SOL.

Debating whether to keep the charger and 2 batteries for $5.24 or just return it.....
they do, did u search for the AA's???

I looked through all the batteries in electronics and came up empty. Just saw the AAA's lying flat on the bottom shelf.

are all target stores supposedly have ninja gaiden sigma 2 on clearance? cause yesterday my friend went to look for it and the cashier rang it up regular price.

I'm still waiting for the Force Unleashed for PC to go on clearance. It's slowly tumbling down from 39.99 to 29.99 , but not on clearance. :(

All Targets around me were cleared out of the HDDs... can't believe people picked them up for $48.xx when they could have dropped futher if left alone. Otherwise, found the Logitech Harmony 610 for $17.xx, Resistance PSP for $9.98, GI Joe PSP for $7.98, 4.3" screen protectors for $3.xx each. Also saw SW: Republic Forces (?I think?) for $3.xx for PC. 85% off... they are REALLY trying to get rid of this game. :)
I looked through all the batteries in electronics and came up empty. Just saw the AAA's lying flat on the bottom shelf.
did u check the "battery centers" that are scattered threw out the store???

there usually hanging up on the end caps, in the front, toys section, basically walk threw the big aisles and u can see the "battery centers" hanging up

Picked up the Magnavox 42" 1080P LCD that was on clearance for $497. They only had the display model left, so it was 30% off ($348) + tax + 3 year warranty for $45 = $420 out the door! Score and a half.
I figure it's been sitting on their shelf running non-stop for some time, there's no way it's gonna last three years.

That is a GREAT deal. If you happen to have bought it with a Visa Signature card, your warranty will be extended. Also, you can buy a 5 year extended warranty for about 60 bucks; covers parts, labor, etc. This is what I did when I bought my TV.

Went to Target and the only video game deals they had were:
Beatles Rock Band (game only for xbox 360) for $27.xx
Wireless Gamecube controller $10.xx
Band Hero
DJ Hero ps2 $39.xx
other ps2 games

They have not had really many clearance games since the holidays.

Last week they did have a few tvs on clearnce:
Panasonic 42" plasma C1 (floor model only) $250 (went back the next day and it was gone)
Sony 46" S Serieas LCD $450 (floor model)
Panasonic 50" U1 $450 (floor model)
Sony 32" lcd $200 (floor model)

Yesterday they had
Magnavox 46"/47" $600
Samsung 46" lcd $700
Vizio 22" $200 (going to keep my eye on this one)

I also saw the Western Digital 500gb External Hard Drives for $35 (probably be gone by next week)

This same store also got 3 copies of Il-2 Sturmovik
iconps3.gif
and put them out on clearance at $7.48
You in the OC? Sounds exactly like my local store. Anyone, is Demon's Souls as hard/frustrating as I am reading? I too got a copy for $30 and am unsure if I want to open it. May want to save myself some headaches. Thanks.

Absolute fail again in pensacola fl...no games except zoo tycoon for pc. Harmony remotes still at damn near full price. GPS's dropped but still too high. No hdd's. Just fail all around. I dont know why i even bother driving to that damn store. I managed to become friends with one of the employees there and guess what she told me? Employees hide shit they want in the back and wait for markdowns. I cant say i wouldnt do the same thing though if I worked there..

Picked up three harmony 610s for $17.48. Now I have one for each room with a tv in the house. I also picked up a rock band wireless mic for $7.48 and 2 packs of AAA batteries for $2.48.

Saw Beatles Rock Band for $19.98 new but I already have a copy from BBV. I also picked up a Rock Band 1 drumset for $7.44 on clearance. There was another left. I couldn't resist as my girlfriend is getting an xbox and she would love to have one. Good deal? I am not too sure on the quality of these. I use guitar heros drum set.

This was at the Target in Hacksensack, NJ

Was the RB1 drumst for the 360? If so is it wireless by chance?
I saw a 250GB PS3 for $245.XX ( I guess it was around 30% off) . I am going back next monday and hoping it will be lower. When I go back I will takes some pictures :D
Um, PS3's are being sold out at a lot of places, theres no way its going to be there.

picked up dark void for 14.98. also picked up 6 sony blank bluray discs for $3.74 each. they dropped from 14.99 to $10.98 to $7.48 to $3.74. it was the same six ive been monitioring for about two weeks. i was going to wait another week but i said what the hell

Went back to Target today, hoping that I was there too early yesterday. There were about six games on clearance total. Three crappy :pc: puzzle games and some :ds: games that were of no interest to me.

My store had a few of the WD 500GB drives, but they weren't on clearance :whistle2:(.

I said in an earlier post I would say what the little metallic carrying case was called for :ds:. Well, I have the packaging, and it just says Nintendo DS Travel Kit. It came with 3 extra styluses, a car charger, headphones, cloth sleeve for just the DS, small silicone case for a few games, screen protectors, and of course the metal case to carry all of that with slots for 12 games + the silicone game carrying case so a total of 15 games I think.

Original price was $33.xx and I got it for $8.xx.

In Elizabethtown, KY...

Beatles Rock Band 360 - $19.97
Bayonetta PS3 - $29.97
Singstar: Queen PS3 - $19.97

I dunno if it was a typo though.....but they have Splinter Cell: Convinction (NOT CE but with the 1 Month Live Card) for $49.99 marked in the glass case. However their ad saids $59.99 so I dunno if it's a typo or it's legit. Figured I give you guys a heads up.

Picked up the Saboteur:ps3: for 9.98. It had a sticker of 30% off from 39.99. Though the game is now 19.99 MSRP. So not sure if it was 75% off 39.99 or 50% off 19.99. Anyway last copy out of whole freaking Targets I've been at.

Nothing in the downtown Sacramento Target as far as games. Mostly PS2 crap.

However, I did pick up a 4GB Transcend USB Flash Drive for $5.74 - DCPI was 056060969

There were about 10 of the USB drives in stock, however the one I got was the only one with the properly marked price. The others were marked at $15 something - but all had the same DCPI number.

I went to my super special Target today. They had a bunch of the 4GB Transcend drives for $11.48 so I'll wait until the drop hopefully next week. As for game clearances, half the PS2 section was 50% off. Among them was Need for Speed Undercover, Motor Storm: Arctic Something, Kingdom hearts (either 2 or CoM), God of War 2, and Band hero. They also had a few other random stuff on clearance that I really don't remember, except Prince of Persia: The Fallen King for $3.74. I would bought it if I didn't already buy it during it's first clearance cycle when it was new.

Ah shit, I know what you're talking about. I'll keep an eye out next time I stop by. Thanks.

Wow my targets still have this game at $59.99 along with Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 >.> I hope they will drop it soon since they have a tons of them in stock and hopefully it'll skip the 30% and 50% and go straight to 75% off hehe.
Was the RB1 drumst for the 360? If so is it wireless by chance?
Yes it was for xbox and I am not sure. I gave it to my girlfriend right after, I haven't checked.

YES! You are correct sir.

As far as the game's difficulty, I don't know yet. I haven't opened the copy to play it yet. I haven't had time and I'm also hoping that one of the couple copies I've seen drops to $15 (long shot, I know).

i saw one at target for 14, randomly like 3 weeks ago and they JUST got them in or it magically appeared XD so theres always a shot

as far as Demons Souls being hard... its not really hard, its just very precise... as far as actually playing the gamee, most of it is so so, and only 3 or so of the bosses are hard, and only 1 of them is really unfair though there are exploits for some bosses that make the game easier...

in the end, since you can get co op help, the game is far from INSANE, but its not a cake walk... think ninja gaiden really
think ninja gaiden really
Exactly...people just like to hype things up.

...OMG TEH GAMEZ IZ TU FREEKIN HARDORZ

Went back to the Target that had the 360 memory card and it scanned this time for 7 bucks (last time it would only say 'item not found')...

Thinking of returning it though since the USB thing is around the corner.

I never get to grab things like this before its too late so I got it just to at least say AHA! I got it for the price point I wanted originally.

Meh... I may keep it as a trophy :lol::bouncy:

Found the 8GB Transcend USB flash drive for $18.98 (50%). 056-06-0982.

Also picked up :360: Tetris Evolution for $9.98 (50%). 207-22-0110.

Went to several different Targets all over the area in the past two days, looking for that Acer 21.5" monitor. Found it in-stock in several stores, still for full price. It was out of stock at every store that had the clearance price active. D'oh.
