Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in gold are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

I found a couple bioshock 2 limited editions for $17.48 at my local store. I got the ps3 version but now im not so sure if i want it. If anyone wants it PM me and you have it for cost plus shipping.

Nothing new at local Target. Was hoping Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma would have dropped by now but it's still holding steady at $34.98 here.
 
Was it properly marked at $17? Just curious, since the one at my target is still at $50.

Picked up bioshock 2 CE for 16.xx after discount. None of the other clearance games have dropped yet. What's weird is that the bioshock CE for 360 had been repackaged and marked for clearance for a few months now. It randomly came out of the backroom 3 weeks ago.

Different Targets mark down at different rates. For example, I got my Bioshock 2 SE box for $19.99 over 6 months ago. :pc:
 
yea it was labeled 17$ it also looked like it had been sitting in the backroom for a few months a bit beat up and i had not seen it at all since like june
 
Just got a bioshock 2 LE for $17. Other than that the only drop downs were for ds games which I didn't sift through. Hoping borderlands drops next week.

Yeah my copy was a bit beat up well. The Slip cover is in poor shape and the box has a few bumps on it. But everything inside is fine.
 
I also got a :360: Bioshock 2 CE for $17.48, 75% off. That store had two copies each of the 360 and PS3 versions. My copy is not very beat up at all. The other 360 copy had a few tears in the slipcover.

Just picked up Bioshock 2 LE for $17.50. Totally surprised me because last week it was $49. That is quite a drop. Also picked up Hawx for $7.50 and an Asus SDR (I have no clue what that means, I think it is a DVD reader/burner) for $17.50.
 
Picked up a :ps3: Bioshock 2 LE today. Only store that had a :360: was still at $48. It's the slowest store to clearance to 75 around here, anyway. Debating keeping it. I'd like the extras, anyway...

Snagged Scene It: Bright Lights! Big Screen! for $9.98 well worth it for me And I got GTA: San Andreas for the PC @ $2.48. Noticed 50+ Dead Risings for $9.98, and around 5 NHL 11's for $34.98. Palisades Center in West Nyack, NY

Most of the Targets here in the Springs turned out to be a lost cause, minus a copy of the special edition Bioshock 2 for $17.48, which I picked up for myself. How unfortunate too, I was hoping to nab a copy of Alpha Protocol

Scene It is some of the best fun my GF and I have ever had playing games and getting chievos. 450GS in one night, hell yes.

Got Hawx 360 for 7.xx and scored a Bioshock LE PS3 for 17.xx

Bunch of army of 2 psp for 7.xx and ninja gaiden sigma 2 for 35.xx but wasn't interested in those.

Have you played the prior versions? I read this one was absolutely horrible and they took out multiplayer - Not to mention there is no more host.
 
Knew i saw Bioshock LE at one of the 2 targets i go to once in a while - stopped at the wrong one on the way home tonight. Whoops.
Have to wait until tomorrow lunch to see if i can score at the other one.
 
:ps3::360:Alpha Protocol finally hit $14.98 here. Rest was still to high like :ps3:Avatar $20.98, :ps3:Street Figher IV (not super) $30+, and something at $41 I can't even remember the name of.

:ps3::360: Bioshock 2 LE were both $17.xx but ripped to shreds (while still in plastic wire wrap theft tag). Classic Target, around the corner I see normal edition for $39.99.

Well, my store must have some pretty shady employee's. In the time since closing on Sunday night, all 5 copies of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 went missing, along with damn near everything else that was of decent value. And i was there right when the store opened

Checked one on the other side of town (Which still had all of the same clearance stuff its had for 2 weeks), but no price drops.....i REALLY want Tekken 6 and Borderlands for under 15 >:O
 
got Bioshock 2 LE for $18 the last one box was so torn but the box was in great shape but im still trying to seek out Alpha Protocol

Grrrr no drop again this week. WTF is my targets doing >.>? I've been waiting for that RE5GE for PS3 to drop for like forever. However did find 2 Bioshock 2 LE for $17.98. Picked one of them up. Nice add to my ps3 collection.
 
Went to 3 Targets. I knew 1 had the Bioshock 2 LE that had a really beat up cover from last week, but wasn't sure on the others. Neither had them and the rest of their clearances were sucky. But luckily the 3rd Target still had the LE BS 2 and was happily surprised that it went from $48.98 last week to $17.xx this week! Still marked $48.98 though. Last one and luckily for PS3.

I found some stuff today! But not game related stuff on clearances, heh. It used to be a good spot for clearance games when I first started following this thread. But ever since they switched to their new game displays, nothing pops up anymore (or at least hits clearance prices very late). But then I also believe that someone snatches up the good stuff before they hit a price that I would purchase it at. It may be an el hoardo who goes to that target as well. I remember once mentioning that I found several copies of MPT there, went back 2 days later with a friend to help him get a copy to find out that there were none left (along with several other games that had previously been there).

Just replaces the last part after the equal sign with the desired code of the game you are looking for. You can find it by searching it on Amazon or Target websites. It is stated on the front page I believe. However, I do seem to notice that when some games hit clearance prices, they no longer appear on the stock checker.
 
Clearance drops from yesterday (I know this because it was still in the back) were garbage at my store. More DS/Wii Shovelware. And El Hoardo took those Prototype copies I was eyeing.
