Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in gold are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

The Legend of EL HOARDO as told by Strell
No cankle too big and no score too small,
The one and only EL HOARDO.

He'll steal your stash - gonna take it all,
That's the one - EL HOARDO.

He's gonna run down all the aisles
and snatch up all the loot,
And he's feeling really confident
in his nipple protection suit!

Awesome sideburns and a dapper mask
He's at your local store,
Gonna clean out everything
And then go back for more!

Who's the guy in the Star Trek shades?
He's the man they call EL HOARDO.

His boots are secretly roller blades,
There he goes! EL HOARDO!

He's got a cape and it's totally sweet,
A flash in red and white,
Calls his fanny pack his utility belt,
He's ready for a discount fight!

You'd never think he could run so fast,
With a gut of giant size,
Asks all the ladies if they'd like a ride
On his Starship Enterprise!

What's that sound comin' down the lane?
It can only be EL HOARDO.

His stubby legs are gonna bring the pain,
Brace yourselves - EL HOARDO!

He packs a sword, it's a replica,
Like Zorro in disguise,
Gonna leave an H scratched on the wall,
Then he'll move those ten ton thighs!

Knows all the price drops all the time,
Has inhalers to survive,
Lives in a basement at his parents house,
At the age of thirty five!

That's the one who got your penny guide,
The stallion called EL HOARDO.

He's got his Rascal parked outside,
That Man-of-Men EL HOARDO.

EL HOOOOOOOARDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.
Picked up Orange Box for the 360 for $5. Best target clearance deal I've found in a long time. Also picked up My Little Pony for the DS for my daughter for $5.
Also snapped up a copy of The Orange Box for $5. I love how there's an IGN quote on the back of the box proclaiming it as the best deal in videogame history - and they were referring to it when it was $60!

Wow, i keep seeing these deals people find for like $5. But the Target near me doesn't ever seem to go below $20 for any of their clearance 360/PS3 games. They may do it for PC games but im not really interested in those.

at $60 bucks it was a steal back in 2007

Being a CAG is an illness. I need help. Picked up a copy of Where the Wild Things Are for 4.98 today. May not even play it, but for that price I bought it on principle. Backlog here she comes! I'll get to it sooner or later(or I'll find a kid who will).

Saw :360: Bioshock LE for 49.xx. Halo Reach gear (t-shirt, wrist band dog tag bundle) for 6.xx and 13.xx respectively. Avatar :360: 7.48, Avatar :ps3: 20.xx, GD Rock Band 13.xx, Lego Indiana Jones 2 :psp: 9.xx

Picked up Green Day RB and Lego RB for PS3. $13 and $5 respectively. Also saw Club Games (DS) and Street Fighter (PS3), but both were only 30% off.
I almost picked up SC:C for the PC at 12.xx today. As soon as I saw the permanent internet connection required as everything is saved online...I said fuck that. This is getting ridiculous.
LOL. I picked it up for 9.98 a couple weeks ago. It's actually not terrible!
Found Bioshock 2 LE, both 360 and PS3, for $17.48 at the Stafford South, VA store.
...Same here at 2 different Targets in the Dallas area a few weeks ago, most I see now are in the $40.00+ range. :)

LOL, reminds me of when I was hitting up Sears Clearance a year and a half ago and found :360: Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer for $1.97 & :360: Armored Core 4 for $ .97 -- I bought them both, and they stayed sealed for ages until I opened and traded 'em to Gamestop to help take advantage of an extra $10 promo they had at the time.

All of the Bioshock 2 LE I saw previously were scoffed up. Checked the PDA and they dropped to 17.48 -- makes me wonder if they were sitting at 17.48 and marked wrong when I saw them before. Sigh. I haven't bought Target Clearance in awhile so I'm out of the loop, usually I cover all bases.

Shoooooot, if it drops that low at my store I'll pick it up for the game alone, lol. The game has just now dropped to that used at GS...

Saw Endless Ocean 2 for $15
Darksiders PS3 for $10

And some others.

Might go back later this next week and get Endless Ocean and maybe Darksiders, but wish the price was for the 360 version instead.

Got Bioshock 2 for $17.48. I had given up on getting this, but was heading to a buddies house that lives with in a quarter mile from a Target I never go in. So I checked it out and they had Bioshock 2. Sweet! They also has Alpha Protocol for $14.98. I had picked that up a couple weeks ago at a different Target for $30. Oh well. So if anyone wants Alpha Protocol for $15 and live in Mesa AZ, the Target on Gilbert/Southern had 2 as of last night.

darn, I probably should have priced checked then Bioshock 2 LE... was still marked at 44 bucks yesterday... oh well, I will go and check on Monday during my lunch break :)

I really am starting to hate Ubisoft ....

All it will take is a server crash/shut down and your fucked. But I am sure down the road they will release a patch so you don't have to have a net connection to play.

yea right look at EA with the game mercenaries 2. if you try to play that game and you are connect online. the game freezes right at the main menu. so you have to disconnect/ sign off to play that game now

Bought Lego Rock Band tonight at my Target for $4.98 on PS3. Had no intention of ever buying, but too good to pass up at this price.

I also spotted Beatles: Rock Band for $20.98 for PS3.

There was also on PS3 Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, some UFC or WWE game (don't remember which) For XBox360 there were a bunch of Brutal Legend for $14.

I agree. My wife has been playing the heck out of it on my profile and I've been jumping in helping with the harder parts. Great achievement game and well worth the $5 I paid.

Since when? I was connected to PSN when playing my copy. Either that or I remember having to sign out, start the game and then sign back in after loading my save. I forget which since it's been a while.

The game was a glitchy POS though in comparison to the first one, which was a blast to play. The fact that one mission might be a total cakewalk while the next was hard as hell was almost as annoying as the glitches.

Only thing I found myself doing with the game just before I finally traded it into Gamestop a few months ago was using a ton of cheat codes in it to annihilate everything. Nothing quite says fun like having 50 tactical nukes and flattening whole city blocks while you have on invincibility and infinite ammo codes.;):applause:

So thats why it kept freezing when I tried to play it.

Buy the $15 one and return it with the $30 receipt.

Picked up :ps3: Army of Two: The 40th Day for 9.98. My target had quite a lot on clearance. If anything drops below 20, I'm gonna nab it. Speaking of which, how is the avatar game? Worth picking up or complete garbage?

Picked up
Dark Void (ps3)
Tekken 6 (xbox)
Bayonetta (ps3)
All for 7.48 yesterday.

There were about 10 copies of SF4 for xbox, 5 ninja gaiden sigma 2 and a 10 WWE 2010 all at 25-35$. A handful of crap DS games and 4 copies of Kane and lynce 2 for PC at $10. No more beetle bundles though :( I need to replace a guitar and the drum pedel

I just picked up the special edition on Bioshock 2 for 17.50. Thought maybe I could flip it for some sort of profit, but ebay is useless. Anyone know what the Trade in value at Gamestop would be? If nothing else, I got the game cheap, so it's not like I'll be dissappointed.

Gamestop typically(from what I can tell) gives the same for the Collectors as it does the regular edition of games. So you aren't going to be able to flip it for much, but its a nice collectors edition if your into that.

Oh yeah, it's really nice, I was just curious if I could get a profit anywhere since I already have several games going and all.

I was thrilled to find a copy of Contra 4 today for $3.74. I held off forever when it was $15 and I got rewarded with this random find. :bouncy:

That is pretty damn random. I don't know if I've EVER seen that game @ Target. They must have found it in the back room under an inch of dust. ;)

I randomly found it at Target (in Santa Rosa, CA) and was happy as hell. I was charged $15 for it but I'm still glad to have it.
Konami announced they're making a Contra for the 3DS.
I imagine a lot of companies are going to remake their classic games for the 3DS. Here's hoping for another Final Fantasy I remake. :bomb:

At my Target they've pulled out a lot of really old PC games. I mean really odd random stuff like Madden 08 and Sacred Gold, a bunch of odd war games I've never heard of, random puzzle games...tons of weird stuff.

They also have TONS of PS3 games now but the clearance prices are a joke. MAG I think is still around $40 and Green Day is around $30. Keep hoping to get some good PS3 deals and turn them around on Amazon or something...

Unfortunately their 360 section is almost depleted, nothing good for a while. The cartoony PoP is $10 but I remember it was on clearance over a year ago for $15 and I bought the last copy...not sure why they got more if it was on clearance that long ago.

Another funny thing is their GH 5's for the 360. They're still priced at $41 and there are two left. I'm hoping I can grab one for $20 (that's probably the highest I'll go)...however the boxes are atrocious. The one box almost looks like it either has water damage or it's contents were emptied and then put back in wrong. And the second box looks decent, but when you pick it up it sounds like a rainmaker inside. I can't possible imagine what could break up to cause that many tiny pieces in there.

I went to Target first thing this morning. No droppies on Brutal Legend or Scene It (both 360). The only Wii game left was Balls of Fury. I didn't bother checking any of the DS stuff either since it was all My Little Pony or girly games.

I picked up the new issue of GQ with the softcore porn pics of the Glee chicks so it wasn't a total waste of gas.

The games are usually pretty picked over/non-existent at my Target, but I did manage to find some good deals on end-of-season car washing products. And sidewalk chalk/accessories for the lil' guy.

Picked up Alpha Protocol for $15. They had WtWTA for $5 and Bioshock LE for $45. I know a guy at Target that will price match it when it drops. Just have to wait it out.

Spotted a 4GB Kinect bundle on a stack of boxes that hadn't been put in the back yet...

Not clearance of course, but interesting nonetheless.
