It says Enigma... not very clear though... almost looks like Urmama heh. So.. I was bored this week and decided to check out all 6 of the wrestling shows, instead of my usual weekly viewing of only TNA. Thus far, I think my most to least favorite shows would go something like this: TNA -> NXT -> ROH -> LLUSA -> SmackDown -> RAW. As far as the big two WWE shows go, especially RAW, I really feel as if it's so incredibly stale and boring. Even with the recent influx of younger wrestlers, such as The Hart Dynasty, the second generation wrestlers like DiBiase and Rhodes, Nexus, it still feels like the same old low-risk high-reward formulaic show that's been airing for about ten years now. NXT, on the other hand, seems to take more risks. Whoever is booking/writing for NXT seems to want to give the wrestlers a chance to let their personalities shine a bit. I guess that's the whole point of the show though... to discover which of the rookies is "most" pro. The one thing that really bothers me about NXT is the wrestlers names. Some are just really stupid... you have Eli Cottontail, Lucky Cannon (and his nemesis Unlucky Cannon, the one that randomly shoots), and Husky Harris, all very stupid names. The wrestlers themselves aren't horrible. They actually vary in styles a bit which is nice. They're given ample room to work the mic and find their niche... many of them are boring, but some definitely seem to have what it takes to make it in the big leagues. Percy Watson is my second favorite so far, right after Kaval. I don't like Percy's name (registers as Purse-y in my mind), but his gimmick and overall demeanor are entertaining.
Good to see Unbreakable 2005 on the best sellers list on shop.tna.com. That PPV was definitely one of my favorites of all time. So many great matches... Raven vs. Rhino was great but the crown jewel of the show was without a doubt AJ vs. Joe vs. Daniels. That match was simply amazing. Speaking of the TNA shop, I see the fan package on there but can't find the regular tickets... anyone know where they are? I checked ticketmaster's site but was only able to find house shows. I've never been to a TNA show before so I don't know how it works... do you get in free after paying for Universal Studios entry? Does this include PPVs? Will my girlfriend be able to meet me in the good seats? I don''t know whether I'm guaranteed good seats by buying into the whole fan package thing.. but I definitely hope that's the case. On the other hand, I'm going to be disappointed if the Hardcore Justice show lacks TNA wrestlers... it'll kinda feel like a ripoff going to a TNA show and not actually seeing TNA wrestlers.
