I'm almost to the point (not that I'm watching the Naruto filler anymore) that I wouldn't mind laughing as the show gets cancelled in the filler like Kenshin was. And I've never watched most of Kenshin's filler, but it had to be a 100 times better than the crap I saw for Naruto.

i started watchin the filler, and it seemed okay, but then when Mizuki turned into tony the tiger it was just too much and i havent had the heart to watch it. I heard 204 mentioned as possible new ep, but I wouldnt hold your breath.

I knew it had to be too good to be true. Any word on when the dubbed Naruto starts up again with the awesome third season?

Anybody going to get Zombie Powder (from the Bleach creator) when that comes out next month? I read a preview chapter in SJ a few months ago and I loved it. I'll have to pick it up along with the next chapter of Death Note.

Zombie Powder is complete at vol 4, but it leaves much to be desired. It's Kubo Tite's (the guy behind Bleach) first work, I believe. I read it all the way through and it's OK at best.

I could upload it to rapidshare for anyone who wants it to check it out before you buy or you guys can get it yourselves from #[email protected], or at least read it in the bookstore before you buy it.

personally, I wouldn't waste my money on it.

How does that work? You basically get a bunch of jpegs and use the preview feature to read them? That just seems to be really annoying. I'd just rather read it in its physical paper-filled form.

I picked up the first three volumes of Bleach at the local manga shop, which I got for a little buy 2 get 1 free promotion, so that made it about $5 each. I wanted to get the first three of Dragon Ball, but they didn't have the first volume, so I went with my second string choice. Now I have something to read on the plane since I've caught up on my Shonen Jump issues.
 
Anyone else watching the Princess Princess D live action? I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea but I find it to be hilarious.

I watched my Strange Love DVD the other night. I got it on the cheap from Rightstuf. For a 2 ep OVA it wasn't too bad.

yeah it comes out in japan, someone creates a translation, someone else puts it in. Then it usually comes in a zip in jpeg and i read it with windows picture and fax viewer. Its really quite easy and free is much cheaper.
 
I still buy actual manga for the sheer collectibility of it, but i will often download the same manga and read it on my comp. Its a lot easier to read things on the computer because obviously its a lot bigger. Plus you dont have to worry about bending pages, smudges, ruined spines, etc.

Having actual manga in your hands is cool. You can take it anywhere (except h-manga 8-[). I like the collectability too.
 
Could anyone tell me a decent place to get the Naruto manga? I see TS has the 1-290 but Torrents are weiner. Does anyone have any good torrents?

By which group? You can pick up anyone's Naruto trans from their respective websites (though they all require you to register but it's free). I preferred Inane's trans but they haven't done it in a while so Shannaro/Jinchuuriki's are the next best thing. I think Jinchuuriki has been more consistent in terms of releases though.

EDIT: And CDisplay ftw. It's not made for manga as it runs from a left to right perspective but I got used to it. Plus not having to unpack the jpgs from the zips is a big plus.

packlists for the bots at gotlurk.net (you can click the # symbol next to the volume/chapter you want and it will give you the proper command to get the file).

Shin-Chan's on AS tonight for those interested. I'm already noticing a lot of the Funimation voice actors that are on the show, like Pilaf from DB.

Damn. I thought Eureka was on at 12:30 last night so I stayed up until then and saw GitS on. I was down at the shore with my family so I was like "Shit. Guess it's not back yet. Better go to bed." Of course, it ended up being on at 1. Guess I shoulda checked the schedule out better.

Very,very doubtful... they sell legit stuff alongside boots. It's easy to spot which is which and to my knowledge they've never misrepresented a bootleg to be an offical release (e.g. the offical regoin 1 titles are always listed under domestic, bootlegs under imports and so on). I've ordered legit, region 1 titles from them on a couple occasions with no problems.

Nah, if its the same Anime Legends as below, its legit:

But yea, most of the time whenever you see anime that is region free, has chineese subtitles, or an insane amount of eps per disc (9+) theyre bootlegs. Always buy region 1 (or 2 depending if youre looking for Japan imports)

Even though the translated version isn't out yet, I've seen some cam pics of Bleach 240 and hot damn it looks awesome.

Grimmjow is a mother fucking badass. Showed Doc Ock Jr. who the man is quickly.
