Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Yeah, K-mart also had a deal. Get it and a 1600 points card for $20. I don't know why you are bringing up dead deals though.
 
According to the inventory tracker the BF crowd wiped out all the copies of S&P...then again it's been wrong before. I'll find out tomorrow or Tuesday.
 
Just came from a Target and was surprised to see the Clearance Section pretty full up. I saw:

There was a lot of copies too. I was holding a copy of Mass Effect 2 for a long while but decided to pass up on it.

I'll have to watch for Fallout 3 tomorrow, Hopefully it dropped here as well, would love to pick that up, think I'll see how far it drops before there's only 1 copy left though before snatching it up.
 
Seems like my Target is slow on drops. Here's what came out:

RE5 Gold (PS3)
Band Hero (PS3, reclearance)

If those bundles go half off I wouldn't mind, even though I already have LBP.

Quick question, does Target Price Adjust for clearance drops? I brought like 5 games before i went out of town for Thanksgiving, and with the new drops in effect, i think i could get around 15-20 bucks back
 
Kind of nervous to see what is left over at my local Targets tomorrow. I like others am hopping a lot of my clearance survived the Holiday rush and took even further price drops (Uncharted 2, Fable 3 CE, S&P:SS, etc)

On a somewhat unrelated note, anyone want a Mafia 2 Fedora Code DLC Code? I got one sent to me online and I don't have the game or a desire to get it. This is for the PS3. PM me if you want it.

Lol same, was out of town for Black Friday. (Though i was surprised at how much clearance stuff was left at a Target's outside a huge mall in Atlanta), i just hope they still have White Knight Chronicles

I guess I don't understand the logic in doing something like that? If you clearance something don't you WANT to get rid of it before you have to do ANOTHER price drop? I mean Targets have all that $1 crap in front of the store... so why hide all the clearance stuff until you have to practically give it away?

Anybody noticed if they resumed on like normal with price drops? Still hoping to get PGR4 for under 9.xx. Need to check and see if the one I tossed in the baby section is still there (didn't stash it, just didn't feel like walking back to electronics).

They've had a ton more stuff recently but it's all priced too high.
 
One of my local stores got wiped out. They had 30+ copies of FIFA 10 for PS3 on Wednesday night, all were gone yesterday. Maybe there were 1/4 of the other games total left
 
My local Target had all the Wii clearance games down behind where the Wii systems were locked up. They had about 20 games down there, but I could only see the spines for them. Most the 360 and PS3 clearance titles were gone.

Nothing new at the 3 targets I check, found the PSPGo dock I got last week went down to $3.74 so i got it then returned it with the receipt with it for $7.48(kinda glad I still had it in my car). I'm watching for Fallout 3 GOTY to drop, but it's still holding strong at $49.99 everywhere I seem to check.

Which Target do you speak of? The super target had 1240484020 copies of Fifa10, a sole copy of alpha protocol for 9.98 (picked up) and white knight chronicles for 12.98 (left b/c i heard it was trash)..... you mean the one on broadway correct?

Couple of 360 Rock Band Classic Rock packs - $4.XX each
 
No drops at my Target. Still waiting on RE: DC and maybe S&P to drop to $10-12. No Black Friday wipe out either. They even added Red Steel w/ Motion Plus boxes, but those were still almost $30 I think.
 
No DCPIs because I didn't buy anything, but I saw:

:ds: Glory of Heracles only down to 14.98 (waiting for 7.48)

Wii stuff seemed to be completely gone. Noticed an influx of :360: stuff more than anything else.
 
One of my Targets had what looked like about 80% of last week's clearance still in stock, of course not much exciting although 360 Oblivion GOTY dropped to $7.48! (it was just brought out last week at 14.98) Now to dig up last week's receipt...

The other store, that was pretty bare last week (except it had the 30-40 Shaun White Snowboarding) seemed to be COMPLETELY bare although I didn't have time to play "hunt the clearance section".. (this store loves to move it around, at one point last year it changed places 6 times in 8 weeks)
 
Picked up a Little Big Planet/Dualshock bundle for 30 bones. I don't think any of the stuff already on clearance dropped in price, at least not at the Target I went to.
 
Checked the only 2 other Target's in town.

One had pretty much doubled thier clearance section since i last checked, and they had...

Bayonetta (39.99? I laughed when i scanned it)
Rock Band 2 Band Set (For PS3 69.99)
A bunch of various Guitar Hero/Rock band games for 19.99 (Namely Green Day and Van Halen)
Dragon Age Origins (14.99)
and a few other things i forgot

Only thing i left with was the last copy of Elder Scrolls Oblivion GOTY for 14.99 (360)
 
All my local Targets got wiped. They went from literally 3-4 shelves full of clearance games, to just a dozen games or less. Almost nothing worth noting outside of games that failed to drop (RE:Gold/AlphaProtocol). The only new clearance title I noticed was Swords for the Wii.

Anyone know if the 46" APEX sets (BF ad sets) were high inventory/quantity items. Just curious as I was able to grab an APEX set on clearance last year, after BF, and wouldn't mind a repeat;)
 
Wow, Black Friday sure cleared out a lot of my Target's clearance stock (even the old sports games and a lot of Wii shovelware)... but still plenty of Band Hero and Guitar Hero 5 taking up space. And Green Day is still $27.98.

All 15 copies of :ps3:Iron Man 2 $9.98 are gone (as with everything else, BF destroyed clearance here). Some poor kids are going to cry in disappointment when they check their stockings this Christmas
 
I stumbled across 15 copies of Madden NFL 09 - $9.98 at the Seal Beach Target, if of any of you sports fans feel like reliving the past. LoL Really Target?! Really??? Let's not start acting like K-Mart here.

One Target I went to had the video game clearance section completely missing. Everything was gone! Either everything was all bought out over the weekend, or the employees moved it to the back room temporarily while reorganizing. Anyway, the other Targets I visited still had plenty of clearance games left.
