Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Much like the ASIN location website replace the DPCI # at the end of the URL...

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Lol, they literally popped up out of no where. This store has had the exact same games for weeks (Bayonetta and Naughty Bear). Gonna drive to the other side of town tommorow to test my luck there, they usually have some good stuff

5.04 pricing (the .04 part) is online return pricing, so it doesn't surprise me that they appeared out of no where. One of those rare moments of being at the right target at the right time.

Same 2 games I've been seeing in Sac area (at terrible prices).
 
I saw the Starcraft II Special Editions for $69.98 (30% off). There were 4 there when I went, two at the clearance section and two at the PC games section.

I also saw Rock Band 2 Special Edition for Wii at $69.98 (30% off), comes with the game, guitar, drums and mic. There were two at the clearance section.

The Target I work at in Sac has had some terrible selections for a while now, just Wii Shovelware, Iron Man 2 on Xbox360, Bayonetta on 360 (when I checked at work today, it was down to $15 I think), and some garbage PSP games.
 
Like many (and for unknown reasons) picked up Naughty Bear for $12.48. It and Beatles Rock Band dropped to 75% off near me.

No other drops that I noticed. (well, found some LED floodlamp bulbs at 75% off, or $10, which seem like an interesting deal for some outdoor lights)

Just curious. Where did you find the radar detector? I'm assuming in the automotive section, but was it on a clearance endcap, top of a shelf, bottom of shelf, etc.

All Targets are different, but I thought I'd ask, because I could really use one of those radar detectors.:)

If you could provide a quick description of the box, that might also help me find one easily.:D

I found this radar detector on the clearance endcap in the auto section which is a few aisles down from electronics. It was the last one they had. The DCPI is 092 03 0718. Good luck hunting!

Well they moved the endcap for games over in the stationary department?? Found me a copy of Iron man 2 x360 for 4.98 they have a ton of despicable me WII games for 14.98 but I figure this will drop soon since they have so many

They do go on clearance, but oftentimes you're probably better off finding a good deal on a TV you definitely want than a clearance price on a model that may not be your first choice.

Been to four stores looking for DAO: UE but have come out empty handed. Only one actually had it on the floor, the rest had it in the store room, all however were still $59.99. Don't understand how they plan to sell them if customers can't see that they have it.

I have started to see them pop up in-stores once again. Talk about being a collector's edition, atleast it wasn't limited collector's edition.

Also, I think this is deal worthy: Madden NFL 2010 for Xbox 360 only $24.98. Sorry guys I did not get the dpci.

The Santee Target has Naughty Bear at the $12.xx price point. Picked one up, there's half a dozen more. They also had many copies of Trauma Team at $19.xx. Picked up second to last Assassin's Creed t-shirt, both were medium. Also picked up the last copy of Pirates for $9.98, which I hadn't seen in any other store I frequent.

FYI for those in the Indy area, I checked the Target in Castleton and on West 38th Street, and they didn't have these in stock-in fact, they only had kids clubs or womens. I also checked the Super Target in Fishers this past Friday, which did have a set of Top Flight in stock, but rang up regular. Unsure if this is the same set. Plan on trying to get them at some point if they ever do get clearanced.

As far as video games go, the typical endcaps in the video game sections at both Fishers and Castleton on Friday contained absolute garbage DS and Wii games.

How were you able to check out the store room? I think two stores near me say they have DAOUE in limited quantities, but I never really get further than an employee telling me their system probably hasn't updated, or they really don't have any. It's in the store room, I tell you!

If this was Madden NFL 11 then yes, deal worthy. Madden NFL 10 is worth about .99 to most people nowadays.
 
I saw Lips Number One Hits w/ mic for $34.98 (30% off $49.99). Not too much of a deal since you can get it for $26 at Amazon. The Assassin's Creed figures and shirts finally hit 75%, which made them $3.24 each.

wow, they still have the lips number one hits? i think i picked that up from target around a year ago for less than that. maybe around 20 bucks or so.

The set on clearance (was in a yellow box) is being replaced with another set in a different color box (sorry don't remember the color). Most likely the one you saw for full price was the newer set.

Checked the Lincoln, NE Super Target today and grabbed Naughty Bear @ 12.48, I also saw :360: Iron Man 2 @ 4.98, :360: Bayonetta @ $14.98 and :360: CoD: Black Ops Prestige Edition @ $124.98. There were also some copies of :wii:Trauma Center and several DS games, but nothing really noteworthy.

I looked at the DCPI in the OP, it said available, and called the store. The electronics guy said there were 4 copies in the back.
