Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Just left my target in ft myers Fl and they just completely restocked the clearance section. Usually there's not much over there but they had...

3x TFU2 for ps3 and 1 for 360 at 55.98

Is 9.98 the lowest the Move titles will go? My Target has plenty of The Shoots and The Fight,wondering if i should pick them up or wait for another drop.
 
Seems like every Target in Central PA has been wiped clean of all clearances except for copies of DJ Hero on 360 for $9.99 or Halo Reach Legendary Edition for $104.99.

More than likely, that's it...
and if it's been $9.98 for at least 2 weeks...it may go salvage before you get a chance to buy it...
 
$9.98 should be 75% off. There is a few rare 85% off, but Electronics is usually scrapped after 85%, while some other departments start another mark down cycle.

Have you checked Selinsgrove Target? They usually have tons of clearance there.
 
Are there any working stock location websites now that the main one was seized?

Looking for Dante's Inferno DE here in Sacramento/Elk Grove...but none of the stores seem to have it.

Just curious if I need to expand the search further...
 
I found Dante's Inferno for PS3 for $9.98 at one store and $14.98 at the other here near Pittsburgh. I bought it for $9.98.

haha nice, another CAG here in the Sac area. Im in Davis, didn't see any cops of Dante's Inferno at the Davis or Woodland Target.

I personally and others got them this week for 5.04 ea. If it were me, I would buy what I wanted and not open/play them for a week or 2. If it drops in a week or 2 you can always return those and rebuy them. If they get bought upn in the mean time, atleast you got them for $10 which is still a decent price....BTW what store are you talking about? :) JK...lol
 
I picked up a Samurai Warriors 3 Wii for $12.xx today at the Short Pump/Richmond VA Target. They had about 8-10 more copies at that location.

He was very proud of himself for coming up with the plan too. His mother approved.

It was $10 on Black Friday at Walmart online and instore and Amazon also matched it for a limited time.

Warm deal. Fairly hot for B&M though.

Has been cheaper online ($15 or so, as well as being in a few b1g1 type sales) but that's not a horrible price.

If you haven't played gow 1&2 it's a must own at that price. If you have I could see waiting for $15 but that's probably the bottom.

My local has it for $15 which I picked it up for. If there are plenty of copies wait and see if it drops to $15 in the next week or two or maybe even $7.50 since it would get there but the chance of finding one then will be a lot harder.
 
Went to the East, MD Target yesterday and there was basically nothing. That Truth or Lies game and DJ Hero (disc) for 360 and Dante's for PS3. Other than that they just had a bunch of Rapsters for both systems at the normal clearance found elsewhere. No CoD's at all.

I usually go there when I'm bored and want to take a ride, but that's because they have an awesome Blockbuster there too where I always find tons of stuff. The Blockbuster is closing and the Target hasn't had anything for a while so not sure when/if I'll go back.
 
Scored the last CoD Black Ops Prestige ed. (360) at my local target for $75! I'd been watching these for a while now. The DLC code is already up on ebay and this one is a cash-maker. Almost free game + neat little r/c car to chase the cat around with = sweet!

I don't play much Multiplayer in shooters, so the DLC doesn't mean much to me. But, the game and the r/c will be fun. I know....the batteries make this one rough, tho.
 
I grabbed a PS2 slim for $84.9x from the Libbie & Broad Richmond VA store.

They have 1 left there, and 2 in Short Pump. VA Ctr has none. I have not visited any other locations. They are all in the PS3 lock-box under the console. Libbie ones have no sticker, and both Short Pump ones got stickered this past Tuesday.

I'm still rocking my fatty, but the tray doesn't eject/insert so quickly anymore (despite a disassembly and cleaning a year ago ["block" all Mom jokes]), so I wanted one factory sealed as a back-up for when my fatty dies. Yes, I know they are crazy cheap at Gamestop, but I also know that factory sealed will likely last longer.
 
Clearance end-cap is finally back...with mounds of Hanna Montana.

Only other thing was :wii:Samurai Warriors 3 $24.xx, hoping that will fall to $12.xx
 
Argh, can't remember which Target, but either South Stafford, VA or Fredericksburg, VA has 2-3 PS2 Slims for $70.
 
are they really droping the ps2's for 70 bucks? I'll have to double check. Honestly i dont like the new target layout for games. Its hard to find good clearance deals they just dump stuff asap. Still 70 bucks would be good to have a backup ps2 if thats true
 
According to staff at 2 different stores, Target is clearancing PS2s as they are no longer carrying PS2 games. The only game I saw was C"all of Duty World at War Final Fronts."

As mentioned, I saw PS2s with red stickers at one location, and the store assoc where I purchased did a price look-up on his gun to validate the unmarked ones--both associates specifically knew that the stores would no longer be carrying them and were clearancing them out.

BTW--some locations have already marked Wii Samurai Warriors 3 down to $12.XX--they had 8-10 copies marked $12 in Short Pump/Richmond. EDIT: I was really surprised to see this already at $12ish, esp in Richmond as we often seem to trail other cities.

Thanks, will be on the lookout. Loved Sengoku Basara and SW3 is a similar kind of game so I'll have to pick it up if I see it at that price.
 
I absolutely LOVE Target clearance (and when CAGers get caught sleeping.)

I wasn't even that big on finding a Black Ops Prestige but I saw one last night at clearance for $75. Thought about it but passed, since I already have Black Ops. Started thinking about my cats and how much fun the videocamera/RC car would be and decided to see what BO trades for on Amazon. Locked in my trade at $33.50 and went back to pick up Black Ops today hopefully.

I was already determined to drop $75 on it, since I don't play multi that often selling the DLC would pay most of the cost with my Amazon trade in.

I scanned the package and couldn't get out of the store fast enough.

The lesson, kids, is to ALWAYS scan Target clearance items. I'm not sure about this particular store's drop habits (my local Target is on Monday like usual) and I didn't scan the game last night. It could have dropped today, or it could have dropped on Monday. Either way, $37.50 Black Ops are coming, there's another Target around here that had two more packages still at $75, going to see them again tomorrow.
 
$75 is a steal if you sell the DLC (or really want it.)

And if you already had the game like I did, it trades into Amazon for $33.50. No retail fraud required (although like Confoosius said you can't really swap out games with this package because of the collector's tin.) The tin is actually very nice too.

Can't wait to try out the video RC car (I know it takes 12 batteries but that is why God invented eneloops.)


edit: Although I did want to brag a little, I mainly posted in the hopes that tomorrow will bring price drops for more people. If you've got your eye on this game better be ready tomorrow.

:wii: Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, 207 26 0563: $14.98

There were about 5 of the Rapstar bundles in stock, and 4 copies of SEGA Racing. 2 copies of :360: TFU2 Sith Edition at $55. The rest on clearance were the usual gambit of lame DS and Wii games, absolutely nothing for you PS3 owners.

Last copy of BO:pE sold at $104, unless someone taped it under a register.

Yeah I buy games to play them, not trade them in for cash. But when it works out it's nice.

Already had Black Ops and that was one of the reasons I was sleeping on this deal. But once I saw it's trade-in value at Amazon it made it a no-brainer.
 
Ugh, I hate having to drive an hour to get to the closest Target, but I kinda want to go and see if I can find a Def Jam Rapstar bundle on the cheap. I'm a sucker for any kind of music game...
