Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Stuck at 14.98 here :(. Both the PS3 and 360 version.

And im guessing someone snagged MAG before it dropped, because all 6 copies were gone overnight =/
 
seems like the Targets in Madison are just a bit behind. I spotted about 8 copies of Ps3 Naughty Bear for $25 and a couple Ps3 MAG for $15. That's on the west side if anyone cares.
 
Supposedly the Buy One Get One 50% off in next week's Target ad does NOT exclude clearance.

Could make for some GREAT deals for some peoples, especially if we get some new games on the clearance shelves.

Jealous. I check out the toy clearance occasionally, but all I ever see are those damn battle hamster things. I wonder who the genius behind those things was.

I did get a Tron light cycle set for 4.98 recently.

Not sure if I'm sadder that I know what you're talking about or that my first reaction was "they're not battle hamsters!". Oh the joys of having young relatives -_-. Zhu zhu and beyblade garbage makes for good gifts :p

Yep, easy gifts for nieces. Only Zhu for boys (forget the name) were on clearance here. $5 each. I love how the boxes have a warning that says, "Keep away from hair." :lol:


No new clearance games here. But, I did get a couple of individually-boxed Beatles t-shirts for 75% off ($2.48) in the CDs section. Form-fitting and soft like American Apparel. Great for PJs.
 
CAG from Colorado here, folks.

Checked two different Targets for :ps3: games.

The one in Glendale (Denver) had one MAG, a couple Wolverine: Origins and a bunch of Kung Fu Riders (and other crap, like MySims games).

The one in Highlands Ranch had at least two more SSFIV (I snagged one myself) for about $15 and tons of Naughty Bears. Also, Kung Fu Riders. Kung Fu Riders everywhere.

Wish I could find the Sly and Tomb Raider collections, the keyboard for RB3, MvC3 SE, Vanquish, Resistance 2, Split/Second, Bioshock or any other GOOD games. :(

Saw Bioshock 2 PS3 at the champlin, MN store for $7.xx I think it was $7.48? They have like 5 more. Might pick up 1-2 more. I don't want to end up like a hoarder though and money is on shakey ground right now. Metacritic & user reviews said it was a good game but I haven't had time to play it yet.

All the MvC3 CE for 360 are gone. the same 3 PS3 versions are still there, at full price.

They had one copy of Tomb Raider Trilogy still in the case, but it rang up for full price. :(

They had one copy of Tomb Raider Trilogy still in the case, but it rang up for full price. :(
 
Saw a copy of MvC3 for 360 yesterday marked $34.98, the sleeve was bit torn though. Figured I'd wait to see if it will drop again
 
Got the last RB3 keyboard for $19.xx. Now... to find a cheap version of the game and rock-out like Courtney Love B*TCH!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a Men's style and a Women's style. The womens come in white with a Beatles Cirque du soleil motif and a Hot pink "all you need is love" motif. The mens is Charcoal and has the cirque du soleil motif.
 
Stil no drops at my store, 3 weeks and they're all holding at the same price. I did manage to find a couple of those Air Hogs Moto Frenzy motorcycles for me and my boy to screw around with for $6.24 a piece.

I should have added that I bought 1 Men's XL for $3.24 at 75% and 2 Women's hot pink in Small @$3.24 for my kids.

The men's shirts went quick, but they were on clearance. Strangely enough. I have two targets that are typically within a week of each other on drops and one dropped the shirts 3 weeks before the other.

Has anyone else seen unusual clearance prices? Seems like one of my stores is inflating clearance prices. So far I've picked up Resistance 2 for 5.98 instead of 4.98 and mvc3 se for 20.98 instead of 17.48. Seems to only be stuff that isn't marked, but I thought it was weird.

I noticed that. One store is using 70% instead of 75% as the third tier of clearance (which leads to the slightly higher prices). I noticed it in clothing and electronics. The other 15/30/50% tiers were normal, however.

What I meant was I forgot to say that the shirts that I found were for womens only. Didn't want to send someone on a chase and leave empty-handed.

Yeah, some Targets here are doing 25% instead of 30% after the 15% drop for games. I mentioned it in a previous post in this thread that even some Target employees were talking about how 25% is weird.

Only thing I saw was the black PSP Go at 15% for $169.98 along with all of its accessories (charging dock, screen protector, etc.) at 15%.
 
I finally got lucky when it comes to target clearance and found MVC3SE for 17.98. There were 2 unmarked where the regular edition were suppose to be. I bought one and the clerk who rang me up bought the other (pretty sure he wasnt allowed to do that but whatever...)
 
The difference in percentage I have seen mentioned a few ties over the last few months.

The PSPGo accessories have also been on clearance before.

I was just mentioning the Beatles Men's shirts in case people thought it was only ladies styles on clearance, it is both men and women styles and sizes on clearance. There is also a hot pink coffee mug too.

My Target clearance section is god awful BTW.
 
Went to my local target store and didn't see much games drop in price at all. Vanquished was still 14.98 / BF BC2 was still 19.98 was hoping to get those games for the prices you folks had reported but no dice.

They had some Wii Golfing game @ $3.97 (80% off 19.99) which had over 10 copies of that game.

Something new I did find was PSPGo on clearance 169.98 (15%) 207-19-0066 I'm hoping that thing will drop to 50% or lower then I might be tempted to get it.

They also had Xbox 360 Elite (not slim) Final Fantasy and Splinter Cell editions was 297.48 last week this week it dropped to 244.98 207-21-0008 (I think that DPCI is a universal number for all Xbox 360 Elites though as both had the same DPCI).
 
Saw Vanquish, Split Second, MAG, that Owl Game, and a few other things here on clearance. (Still the same price as in the OP for some reason though).

Gonna swing by there sunday, might grab MAG and Vanquish if they qualify for the B1G1 50% deal.
 
I know might be hard to find but I am going to my target store tomorrow and see if they have Saints Row Double Pack but if they dont, if someone has one at their target and could pick it up for me i I wll pay for it plus the shipping and give you something extra for your troubles. Thank you.
 
both my targets randomly clearanced a bunch of games, although mostly junk, i did manage to get my hands on a bunch of copies of monopoly streets on xbox for flipping. while normally i wouldnt approve of this, considering it was a mediocre title to begin with, and i could double my target credit by trading to best buy, gamestop, and amazon, i simply couldnt resist.
