there aren't many out there at all. you have the kicker, altec lansing, and ihome. that's about it.

and my target still has almost nothing for zune, and none of it on sale.

Anyone else having trouble with their podcast subscriptions not saving properly .
They download but don't save properly so they're not really there .

Is it where will get to 100% downloaded and then give an error saying that the podcast was removed from the server or something? I've been having that problem too.

Amazon has the newest 32GB iPod Touch for $280, which convinced me to grab it over the Zune HD. The apps and the better web browser were the deciding factors in going for it, since I wanted my next device to replace my laptop for mobile use. I still want a Zune HD for the HD radio, and I still think the Zune HD is a much better piece of hardware, so I'll definitely look to grab one once it gets cheap and I see that MS improves the browser and really opens up the apps section of the Marketplace.

I've had the same problem, only later on it will randomly start working again. 4.0 sucks. I've had nothing but problems with it.

Yes . I guess I'll install iTunes and tell the Zune to watch the folder in the meantime .
 
Question 1: Is there a way to get the videos off of Hulu and put them on the Zune and is that even legal?

Question 2: How much are the Zune HD movie rentals?

im still having trouble getting my zune software to connect to internet. nothing comes up under marketplace and i cant sign it. it just stays as "signing in" until i cancel out of it. left it for 10 minutes the other day

There's also the HD sync dock alone for $40 less than that version...if you don't care about the HDMI and component cables this is the way to go:

Finally found a BB with a display model that actually works.
Unfortunately, they have NO music or videos installed, so all you can do with it is use the FM radio.

Any recommendation for a carrying case for the 120gb video. Just need someting to transport it in dont need to use it in the case. Putting it in my pocket makes me paranoid that I'm gonna scratch the screen
 
I'm looking for a good Zune dock with speakers that works for both the 1st gen 30 and the new 32HD. Does anyone have an ideas? Do the all the docks work with all Zunes?

The ports, from what I understand, are the same on the Zunes.

-Is there a full body case for this thing yet?
-Can I use my xbox live account and link it to my Zune HD to use my Microsoft points? (read somewhere I can)
-Is it safe to use the Zune dock (for the 120) and the USB wall charger for the Zune HD?

yes, log into the zune software with your live id used for xbox live.

yes, all the same connectors, just doesn't fit as snug as the v3 dock.
 
question for you guys. I tried to update my software to 4.0 and cannot get past 96%. It hangs there for awhile and then throws up an error about not locating the zune software. I went so far as to uninstall my old version and still nothing. Now I have no software and am screwed. Anyone got any Ideas??
 
I had that issue on the initial upgrade day with my 64-bit install. They apparently had a problem somewhere along the line and posted a link to the full install which was about 500MB. Let me see if I still have that somewhere.
 
After almost a month, my bro's Zune HD finally arrived from Dell. Thing looks really slick but the screen is kinda small. Think I'll stick with my Touch.
 
does anyone know where the best place to get the fm car kit for a zune on the cheap. I missed out when my target clearanced them out and now don't really want to pay 50+ for one/

Personally, I think you'd be best off tracking down a "Griffin Smartscan Universal" unit.
Typical price is $40+, but can be found much cheaper on ebay.

I'm still seeing them in Targets for ~$20 here in upstate NY. They're all marked down but in a locked display case, so they haven't really been selling that quickly.

Speaking of Target, I grabbed an 80GB/120GB Griffin polycarbonate case at the store in Middletown, NY today for $1.24!
 
I just got my Zune HD this pas Friday. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Does the Zune Marketplace have a "Free Download of the Week" like iTunes or anything similar? The closest thing I'm seen is the "Specials" section, but it never populates anything for me.

Also, I'm downloading all of the Zune games while they are free, even though I can't use them, yet .
 
Does anyone know a way to convert digital copies of movies from ITunes/WM format to one that the Zune can read? It's the only thing stopping me from getting rid of my IPhone and getting a Droid when I upgrade my phone again (currently have first gen IPhone and Gears 2 Zune.)

Also anyone else having issues signing in on the Zune software since 4.0? I have only been signed in 3 times since 4.0 came out. Every other time I try to sign in I get an error, and when I do sign in, I eventually get kicked out and can't resign back in.
