    Canadian Questions & Answers Thread

Does anyone know if Real Canadian Superstore will be carrying the DSi? I have enough PC points to cover it, so I was hoping that I could pick one up there on Sunday. (It's how I got my PSP!)

    Canadian Questions & Answers Thread

I think this is the place: Xtreme Games Interactive, at 1545 Dundas St. W. Phone number's 416.534.8885. I can't find a Web site, but maybe someone else will have luck with that. Anyhow, I think I'll check this place out... Reminds me of A&C games at 706 Spadina Ave, which has a lot of...

Oblivion for PS3/PSP Officially Confirmed by OPM Cover (new info from the mag itself)

Right there with you. Saw a copy of the regular version at a price I couldn't deny, and started playing it last night. Having only played JRPGs up until this point, I've gotta say, I'm loving this... I don't think I'll ever being able to go back. Looks like Final Fantasy XII won't be getting...

Oblivion for PS3/PSP Officially Confirmed by OPM Cover (new info from the mag itself)

Has anyone in Canada been able to find the GOTY version? I'm in Toronto and haven't spotted in ahywhere. It's not available at any Canadian online retailers yet, either. If you're in TO and have found a copy, lemme know where you got it!

Do You Use Your PS3 as a BLU-RAY player?

I've been slowly building up by Blu-Ray collection -- just bought the original Dawn of the Dead the other day for $22. (Still haven't watched any of the free movies I got, though.) I'm not using the PS3 for regular DVDs, though -- I didn't like to hear the fan kick in (no matter how quiet it...

Toronto CAGs: Lair (PS3) on sale now at Yonge/Eg Futureshop

EDIT: Dur. Although online the release date is Sept. 4, it seems as though it's out everywhere today. My bad. Please lock. If anyone out there wants to pick up this poorly reviewed game five days early, it's on sale right now (as of 3pm) at the Yonge/Eglinton Futureshop location. Perhaps they...

I just joined the throng. Conveniently enough, my name is Zyblorg.

Toronto - Wiis in stock at FS

Funny to hear that they're no longer in short supply. I gotta admit, as the owner of a new PS3 (hurrah for the price cut!), my Wii is looking less attractive... I feel so shallow.

Toronto - Wiis in stock at FS

Hey -- don't know how long this will last, but there are at least 4 Wiis in stock today at the Future Shop on Yonge north of Eglinton. If you're in Toronto and have been itching to get a Wii, now's your chance.

Best price for a new PS2?

If you're thinking of this thread, it's old -- someone resurrected it, but the deal isn't still on. In fact, at the moment, BB has PS2s for $10 more than anyone else ($139 vs $129 at FS or TRU). If there's another thread, though, I did miss it and would be grateful if you could point it out.

Best price for a new PS2?

Hey -- I'm looking to pick up a new PS2. I'm kicking myself that I missed the $109 sale at BB earlier this month, and I don't want to buy the console at $129 knowing that another sale like that might be around the corner -- or might be going on right now. Anyone know of any good deals on the...

The Godfather - Blackhand Edition - NOT a collection of minigames!

I got this game for free, trading in three pretty weak GC games at EB last week. And honestly, I was surprised by two things: How ugly it was, and how much fun it was. The game honestly looks worse that many GC games I have -- and I know that that's a common Wii complaint, but here it seems...

Opoona - new Koei RPG - Out now!

New trailer up. I like the art direction -- but I hope that its originality is reflected in the game. From what I can see, this looks a lot like your standard JRPG, just in cuter clothes.

Game-specific friend codes confirmed; and there was much rejoicing. Yay.

I don't know why everyone's taking Falafelkid's blog at face value. I know that Go Nintendo's RawMeatCowboy claims he's reputable, but history proves otherwise. Falafelkid claimed that there was one more big secret that Nintendo had up its sleeve before launch -- and that was wrong. He claimed...

Any regrets with your VC purchases?

I'm relieved to read this and other denunciations of Gunstar Heroes -- and of shoot'em ups in general. Gunstar Heroes is one game I bought because of the raves online -- all the others I bought because I had enjoyed playing them in the past. The chaos of Gunstar Heroes doesn't appeal to me one...

    Sonic vs Excite Truck

No, that's pudding with crackers, fool. Not pie. That settles it. If ever I see you eating pizza, I'm slapping that slice out of your hand. You seriously don't deserve pizza pie, pudding lover.

Everybody Votes - New Channel for download

It's funny -- at first I thought that we Canadians would just get the same questions as you Americans, but no American Idol question blighted my screen. Did the soccer vs. basketball question not show up stateside? That bastard ended up costing me my perfect record... I was sure more Canadians...

    Sonic vs Excite Truck

How is that even a competition? Chocolate pie is the red-headed stepchild of the illustrious pie family. Creamy pies of any kind should be stricken from the face of the earth. I don't know if you should be allowed to eat pizza again. Oh, and Excite Truck.

How do you like my Wig? (Wii + Sig.)

Getting back on track, I've gotta say that I really like the tag. It's nice to have something shiny at the bottom of my posts so I don't feel quite as inadequate against those 360 owners... Now, if only the friend code actually let you do something besides fill out your Wii Parade (more than...

Is the novelty of Wii wearing off?

As far as the gameplay goes, I would certainly say that the novelty's gone -- I'm no longer amazed at how intuitive the controls can be. But I would say that the control system has actually changed how I want to play games -- i.e., it's not new, it's the new baseline for me. Going back and...
