Target coupon- 5 dollars off 25 dollar purchase

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

I seriously doubt individual managers decide on quantities for their stores for high profile titles like this (remember it had the Halo 3 beta invite). They probably had some kind of volume deal with MS for the whole Halo launch and related items. Why else would my Target have a ton of those ActionClixs left. Probably all a related deal.

My Targets in ATL have gotten rid of Timeshift, Two Worlds, Kane & Lynch, Golden Compass (all PC), Blue Dragon (and 90% of all other 360 games).

They only have Universe at War and Heroes V: Tribes still on the clearance shelves.

I guess they all went to Goodwill today. Kinda sucks because I was waiting for Timeshift, Two Worlds, and Kane & Lynch to drop to 6.xx. Oh well....

I saw the 0.01 promo DVD for the Wii (Tony Hawk and Ultimate Alliance) at a Goodwill priced from 1.98 to 4.98. Yes, different prices at the same store. Price-jacking, indeed.

Blue Dragon still scanned for 29.98 on a hand scanner, passed. Picked up Universe at War for 12.48 and got BOGO arcade live cards (UMK3 & Worms). Does the BOGO on the cards not apply to the 4.99 cards because i tried getting GW and Uno together but it didnt auto discount one of them.

Just picked up last copy of Blue Dragon for 14.98. They had a boatload of the Bee movie game for around the same price. They also had a copy of Jericho(PC) for 7.48 but the outer shrink wrap was ripped away on the bottom and I wasn't sure if everything was in there. They still have a few Lego star wars for 360 at 9.98.

Mostly crap, but a few decent games like Ankh.

There was also an unusual amount of "As Is" stuff - books,
CDs, DVDs, etc. Some really oddball items!

Was at the one on Sorenson and Folklore (PS3) was $41.99, Ninja Gaiden was $29.99. I probably missed the PC clearance isle there.

Got Ninja Gaiden...almost K&L for the PC, but something about 2 MBA classes starting next week prohibited that. I'll post the last store I will check either tomorrow or Wednesday.

NE Ohio had the 360 games drop to 75%, but the PS3 games didnt. (EDIT: Streetsboro, Aurora, and Macedonia stores)

My target finally dropped Folklore to $29.99, so I picked it up since it was the last copy.

A couple of NG Sigma's left, but I'm going to wait until they drop to $14.98 for that one.

They added a bunch of PS2 games to the bin, but not much of note.

picked up universe at war tonight. i probably wouldn't have if it didn't have live support on it. they really should implicate that into more pc games. there is ONE ninja gaiden sigma (there has only been one for the last few weeks) and it's still at $30. hopefully it'll still be there when it drops to $15.

Found another target on my way home from work. Picked up the following:

spiderman FOF for 13
Bee movie for 13 (has a 74 on gamerankings) saw it two weeks ago and didn't pick it up couldn't find it for 13 again until today
Avatar (360) for 13 - might bring it back, someone said it had easy achievements

saw juiced 2 for 15 did not purchase

waiting for stanglehold to drop again - have seen it for $42

Hello all. I was just at my local Target in Birmingham, AL, and I picked up Blue Dragon for the 360 for $14.99 + tax. Pretty good deal! :lol: Of course, this is a YMMV. I also saw Lego Star Wars 2 for $9.98. Go check it out. I liked the demo alright, not my favorite, but I think this price is right. Good luck!

No, it was in the glass display case with all the other games, clearly marked down to $14.99 with the standard orange sticker. Some were marked $19.99, but it indeed rang up $14.99
