Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

All the OP means is that's the lowest price found. It doesn't mean every place will be the same. Prices vary by store.

Every Target has a different clearance schedule. Yours are just a little late to the party. I bought Spider-Man FoF yesterday at my Target for $12.48 (I'm guessing the lowest reported price is listed). Hopefully the price will drop for you next week (or you could try to scan the $24 copy to see if it hasn't already dropped). Good luck.

My Target had about 5 copies of Jericho but they still were marked $25 and rang up at $25 so I passed for now I was really hoping for that $12 price, maybe next week otherwise i might just give up looking for a while, no Folklore, no NGS must be some CAG trader on here who just hordes up all these games or an employee.

Just scored a copy of Custom Robo Arena (DS) for $9.99 at a Target about 40 minutes away from me. It must not be a clearance game, just a price reduction I believe, anyways I can confirm they also had Tabula Rasa (PC) for $12.48. I didn't buy it though.

I scanned that game at two Targets and it's came up higher than that. Maybe they mean Universe at War?

I can second this. I have a family member who works the closing shift and they call me the night they are marking all of thier games ( video to PC) down to 75% so Im sure to be first in the store @ 8am before work and get what I want. I give them 2 rounds on ebay and then its back to Target they go and they always end up back on the end cap if said slip doesnt print but if it does, their not there.

OK, I had already been sceptical that you could convince Customer Service to update the price of a clearance item to the "National" database, but I figured I would try it at a local target. What BS, they don't have a national database, the price is established district by district, store by store, exactly as I had previously thought.

The truth of this statement is that they may have a price that has yet to be applied in the nd scanners, but beyond that the price is exactly what they say in the store.

I did find out that Two Worlds went to Salvage at the price of 12.48, so no additional savings for me on that game, I may still take that and tabula Rasa back.

So a month back when Folklore was on clearence for 30$ at lowest. My store had it for 42$. Now this month Folklore is finally 30$. And the lowest price reported is 15$. I also found NGS for 30$. And GRAW2 (PS3) was last month at 30$ (I didn't find any this time)

A bit confusing so I'mma just sum it up.

Last Month:
Folklore 42$
GRAW 2, PS3 (30$ or 28 if you will)

This month:
Folklore 30$
NGS 30$

Of course this is all from memory so that is pretty much what I remember, didn't really pay attention to other games.

Is it just a coincident or does my district (Sacramento, CA and that area) have a month delay on these price cuts?

Not video game related but a nice score nonetheless - West Marietta, GA I saw one 160 gb Western Digital My Book External Drive for 79.99 and was going to buy it as I could use more hard drive space. As I was about to, a 320 gb caught my eye and it was 99.99 so I instead went with that. Not a deal or anything, figured it was a better value.

Took it up to the main registers, wasn't really paying attention as I ran my card through the machine and punched in the pin # until I saw I only owed 10.59. Yeah, the 320 gb external Hard Drive rang up at 9.99 + tax. It's a definite YMMV as I went to another Target and it scanned at 99.99.

I noticed when I got home that there was another barcode stickied over the one on the box. The one stickied says 0 30878 84918 0 - the item # on the receipt says 008001256 GE.

If anyone requests scans, I'll post them tomorrow.

Couldn't find a copy of blue dragon, but my local target has like six or seven copies of timeshift - unfortunately still $60, though. Hopefully they'll change the tag and throw it on the clearance shelf soon. Although, they also had Stranglehold on the clearance shelf still at $40, so even if Timeshift does go down in price, I hope it's not just by $20.. I'll pay $20 or less for the game, but that's it.

Target clearance prices are pretty much YMMV. They go store to store more often than not and not really by district or region.

Case in point, there's literally like 8 Targets within 20 miles of here (if not closer). I got Folklore at one for 14.98 less than a week ago, and today I was at another and it was still 29.98 and they were pretty much behind on everything.
