What are games you own for comic value only?

Big Mutha Truckers-One of the DJ's (Neighborly Jeb) cracks me the fsck up. Yes I'm from the South. Starsky and Hutch-Full of cheesy 70's goodness and not bad for a $20 game...would it have cost so much to get all of the original actors, tho? State of Emergency-Probably the most-hated game of...

    Up Your Arsenal!

Anyone else picking up the new Ratchet and Clank game this Tuesday? I've been a fan from day one, and I have to wonder if someone at Insomniac made a deal with the devil in order for them to release 2 (hopefully 3) great games in as many years.

    Any PSTwo info yet?

Ah, the good old days...when we got 2 joysticks, a pair of paddles and a game all in one shot. Personally, I blame Sony, they were the first to NOT pack-in a game, and it didn't hurt them. I agree that it is much harder nowadays to choose a pack-in game that everyone likes.

    no love for the Gamecube?

The decline in popularity of "the arcade" theories?

I think another factor are the types of games that are being played these days. In the early days, gaming was all about getting the highest score. Today games are more story-driven; RPG's, action-adventure, even some racing games now incorporate story elements.

    Your opinion on Bombastic.

Interesting trivia: Devil Dice was originally concocted on the Net Yarouze, a special Playstation released in Japan that allowed users to write their own games.

    Oh man, not more DREs!

The first thing I would try is this: open the drive tray, shut off the power in back, then blow compressed air through the slot. Next run a DVD/CD cleaning disk through it. My friend was getting DRE's but he didn't want me to 'operate' so I did the above and now he can at least play DVD-based...

What kind of weapons did you use? What kind of bad guys did you kill? About what year did you play the game? Details, man!

    PSX & PSP

I'm slightly interested in the PSP, but I think the PSX will be too expensive for most folks in the US unless its

so what are your thoughts on conker live and reloaded?

Should be a fun game, if the multiplayer is decent I'll probably pick it up, as I liked the MP in BFD, it was kinda like a fuzzy Unreal Tournament...head shot!

    Oh man, not more DREs!

My launch PS2 has been trying to give up the ghost, but its still chugging along after repeated cleanings and one laser adjustment. Of course, I have to own the biggest pain-in-the-S game to get to work on it: Contra: Shattered Solider. Am I the only one who won't be buying a launch PSP??
